For me KYC is fine as long as the project is legit and legal, don't just give your information or passport to anyone be sure that the project is real, also some ICO or bounty require KYC for Legal Purposes just be careful

no, you have to do KYC after the campaign ends to get rewards from your work. and if you don't want to do it, you won't get what you do during the campaign. but not for airdrop, airdrop rarely involves KYC in every free tokens distribution.

KYC simply means know your customer and its done by most ICOs in order to know the identity of all their investors and ICO bounty participants. KYC is just a means of verifying identity in order to be able to buy token during ICO.
