I think if bitcoin dies then it will have a whole lot of negative impact on altcoins because I see bitcoin as the back bone of all cryptocurrencies and its the most trusted coin as far as crypto world is concerned. Therefore if bitcoin dies then other altcoins will follow suit because no one will trust other coins.
I think if Bitcoin dies, it will be decades from now and the market will be ready for Bitcoin's disappearance, which is not going to be serious.
Of course it will have a big impact on the cryptocurrency market balance if Bitcoin dies, especially the stock market will fall because of the highest nominal USDT and panic developers or investors.
It is not impossible that happens but there is a possibility that Bitcoin will continue to grow Bitcoin because in the era of modern technology Bitcoin plays a very important role as a transaction. For now it is better to focus on exploring this Crypto trade and not look too far at all the bad possibilities in the future.

If BTC dies all crypto market dies..I dont think that another coin can replace it, i mean, i dont speak abot technology and so, of course there is already existing projects which technology is more progressive. BTC is main currency, digital gold, there are no alternatives with such big credit of trust.
Well, maybe this would happen if a real hecatomb occurred in the crypto market and the bitcoin disappeared or died suddenly, which I find difficult to happen. What seems to me most likely is that bitcoin dies of "natural death", that is to say, with the passage of time, more advanced financial technologies emerge that gradually displace bitcoin and make it fall into oblivion or obsolescence, and when it occurs in a gradual way maybe the market has matured enough to learn to live without the presence of bitcoin.

If it happens (hope, not) many people will lose huge amounts of money. Bitcoin is the number one choice for most investors now. Yes, sure, later, in 20-30 years, another cryptocurrency can become a leader but not now.

whales can't decide to kill bitcoin. they can greatly reduce its price but destroy BTC they can not. because they need to turn off the internet and mining for this

As per my opinion, it will never happen as this crypto market is coming into limelight through Bitcoin and every crypto investor knows this market due to Bitcoin. If Bitcoin dies anytime than this market cannot survive. Bitcoin is the heart of this market.
If Bitcoin dies? That looks like saying if the crypto market dies, I don't think there will be any one who can have the mind to invest. Nevertheless, this is one of the things which will not happen owing to the way or rather what Bitcoin has achieved in the world today. If Bitcoin dies, then all other coins and crypto in general dies with it. When people talk about crypto, its Bitcoin they are referring to. So if Bitcoin is no more, then crypto will also be no more.
Nothing special for the economies of the countries will happen at this stage. But people can lose a lot of money.
The only thing bitcoin can die from is a quantum computer. But at the same time can appear quantum-resistant cryptography and the cryptocurrency will continue to exist.

Bitcoin was the most popular in the market nowadays and it become even more popular in the other days. So i think its not going to happen for the bitcoin to die. But if we think that this will going to happen i think people who use it will be broken and no choice but to move on and look for another profit. if bitcoin really dies it will most likely affect the market situation and other digital currencies too. because we know that the altcoin on the market is very influential on the price of bitcoin, but certainly the bitcoin will not die even though the amount of supply continues to decrease.

Bitcoin is called the king of cryptocurrencies because it deserves it, how? Bitcoin is the only coin that passed through stages of challenges, fud, badmouthing etc but yet keeps growing nonetheless. It paved the way for what we know today in the blockchain world and till date remains the most valuable. So I don't think, there will be a case whereby it will become irrelevant.
