The shortest definition  of cryptocurrency is "Cryptocurrency is a platform where anything can be done" more like a new internet. it's pioneering project was Bitcoin whose original purpose is to serve as a replacement to Fiat currency, building by all the shortcomings of Fiat.

Cryptocurrency is an amazing innovation. Cryptocurrency is not quite where it wants to, but we must admit, it has come a very long way.

In theory Bitcoin is simple, you create a wallet and get your special transfer code, it is similar to opening an account with a bank, the difference is that with Bitcoin, it is easier, involves less paperworks and faster transactions.

Once you have your wallet, you can either mine token (which involves a lot of technical processes) or buy Bitcoin from an exchange. Over time

I have been thinking if cryptocurrency projects should come back as it was in the early 2016 to 2017 as many of us came into cryptocurrency industry the time it has been made visible to many people, because that early 2016 a lot of people don't really have the knowledge and how it works that time, what do you think that will happen if those days should come back in the crypto phase?
Your message subjects and topics aren't perfect. I think so many people had knowledge about cryptocurrency without only newcomers. Cryptocurrency is changing slowly before 2017, the situation was the same in 2013 but not as big as 2017. Maybe now you get the right point, even though let me clear the next flow will be bigger than 2017. Because more investors are already including the cryptocurrency.

But I miss the years when there were many profitable projects so many people were interested in flocking to find out more about the world of cryptocurrency, Including me who came to seek profits and trade even though only relying on luck without much knowledge
If the altcoin season do come back just like it was in 2016 or 2017 then you will do a better job in earning and also trading because now you are more established in the community as compared to the year 2016/17 because the time you invested will pay you well now in altcoin season.
The ICO that give you good returns have decreased now because a lot are coming daily and out of which only a few percentage of those projects are only legit and rest are either haphazard that won't make you money or either are scam which can easily be identified right from the start.

I understand that you mean if you have more knowledge about how cryptocurrencies are working and if all cryptocurrencies are available like how it was priced by the times of 2016 to 2017, then you will become a bag holder, right? But, I am sure I was having enough knowledge about cryptos by the times of 2015 itself still I did not find ethereum as a good investment or did not get enough money to buy more bitcoins when it was doing under $1000.

So overall, you can still find many similar opportunities to make yourself rich; I mean you do not need to worry on the past and all about the missed opportunities. Because there are still enough high potential altcoins are available in the market and you can invest and make yourself rich; but you need to find the right one.

I don't know whether such years will return or not, but I hope that they will return soon whether this year or in 2021, I honestly wait for that. although it looks difficult because now there are enough scammers trying to use crypto, so I think investors will be very careful in choosing projects so that the popularity of crypto is difficult to achieve as in 2016-2018. however, it will return when the price of bitcoin reaches another $ 20k.
If you want the market to return to 2017, I think we must first remove all scam projects from this market. Then the new altcoin market can develop and investors will fully trust those altcoins. Altcoin scam is killing this market
Big wrong, the crypto market in 2017 has plenty of scam projects too (bitcoinnect, hello?). They even more rampant with scam projects compare it today. I thought 2020 would be a big year for crypto and bitcoin but the covid come in play and f up everything. Now, we're dreaming about back then, 2017. Great!

If it is happened then i can say this is crypto currency and we are proud to be say that and i believe in coming future it is possible but any one can't predicted the time...crypto predicted is totally nonsense..
they are not predictions, just speculation. some people make predictions that will happen in a long time or close. we see from the signs carried out by the project in the update. we really won't know when it will happen. but we always prepare when there will be a big moment.

That will not be easy because we don't know which project will scam people. We only know if that project is a scam in their journey and make the investor disappoint with the project. But not all altcoin is worse because many altcoin are trying to give us the profit, and many projects are still trying to survive. You should be careful if you want to choose the project and make sure you can get much information before you invest.

The problem is what will cause the next bull run? Those people who already in cryptocurrencies are no more interested in buying more cryptocurrencies. We need to attract new people, and for this, you need real fundament behind the cryptocurrencies. Something like cryptocurrencies is the future of means of payment and big companies are ready to ensure their credibility.

I would love to call 2016, 2017 and even the early days of 2018, "the years of Lambo", because during these years, cryptocurrency investors became so rich that buying Lamborghini was a normal thing.

During those years, you could invest 500 dollars and cash out thousands of dollars in just a month, so what went wrong?

The truth is nothing really went wrong, reality only set in, and cryptocurrency has evolved into its next stage. You may not be able to cash out as big as those days, but one thing is for sure, cryptocurrency has progressed.

I don't know if those days would ever come back, but I know there's going to be better days.

investors will definitely compete to join one of the bounty projects that have good prospects for future investment, and I think this forum will also have many participants who want to participate in a project.

The problem is projects and even crowdfunding is not the same as before. People had lost their faith in it due to the number of projects who had run and scammed funds. The number of scam project tarnished the name of crypto specifically in investment. But still, it is good to know that there are still a lot of projects blooming given the current scenario.

They have tried to return the hype but failed. As you can see, there were lots of revisions of projects from ICO to IMO and IEO just to remodel old ICO. But it is hard to make a come back, the reputation of it today was ruined. And there were just few that was successful.

Time will just tell if investors will get interested "again" for some ICO projects which I highly doubt because there are new projects that are better ones.

If we went back in time with this experience we would know what to do! We would sell everything we have, but any coin or an
alt-coin, and we would sell in 2017! After that in 2018 we would buy back some coins, and we would keep them for this year
now.
Now when we know what happened it's easy to say what would we do if we could travel in the past, but it's not possible. It
would be better for us to focus on trying to predict which alt-coins can have a great future and invest in them now.

If those days will come back again, I think what happened back there will still happen the same as before. People are greedy and as long as there is money involved, there will always someone who will take advantage of the situation. Also, those experiences we had will never come back or happen again because there are no investors are interested anymore.

I believe that many changed in cryptocurrency a long ago from now. That 2016 crypto is the time that cryptocurrency starts to bloom and there are also many inveators enlightened about it and earned in thenlong run.  However after that, there comes many scammers and fraudsters in crypto, so that's why some several investors losses their trust in crypto business.
In 2017-2018, many people making money from crypto. In 2019, people started to lose their money because so many scammers tried to offer them to invest in their projects. Some people got trick by the scammers, and they spend a lot of money that they already collected from 2017-2018 because they think that they can make another profit. But then, the scammers run away with their money, and they don't know how to get their money back. So that makes people afraid to come back to the crypto, and now, maybe they are only waiting for what will happen to the crypto.

Those days will never come back. As many bubbles in the past such as tulip bubble and dot-com bubble, the market keep running after the all-time high price but it almost can not reach all-time high again, because the FOMO mentality of most people has gone.

If that day returns, I think a time when there was rarely a project scam that might have been there and it was very small, and I remember once when I first participated in an airdrop and bounty where it was very profitable for me.
