Personally, I think it's going to be something very interesting and super-large event if Ethereum replaces Bitcoin. But this won't happen as Bitcoin Ethereum is now in its place and is promisingly developing for the benefit of society. And I hope we will soon be shocked by the most important coins with their new discoveries.

That was impossible even it is possible, it takes too long because bitcoin was better in any altcoin. They need to get or overtake bitcoin from everything especially on the demand and also in all wallet that Bitcoin that are belong or some wallet that are only altcoin do have in all wallet.

Actually without bitcoin the ethereum will not born they are likely the same as a business with lots of competitors but they have differences to attract customer to buy or take their service. So there is no difference of both of this crypto but since bitcoin is already been tested for many years and it was alive for a long time until now bitcoin should be still place as the top crypto.

To be frank how many users you can identify as loyal supports and how long they will support if there are no incentives, not much and i am sure about it as the loyalty and love will sustain as long as they are having the benefit and when that disappears there will be small group with real passion irrespective of the profit who wants to see the project succeed. If people understand the real difference between bitcoin and ETH then we will not have these comparisons .

It is a big advantage ig ethereum will replace btc on top because many of holders of eth will gain a lot of money by disadvantage on btc holders as well, and i have a coin that is good for investment and this coin is the ACI COINS.

If bitcoin decreases its potentiality, it will be a good time for the Eth to take over. But for now, I don't think ETH will crossover the BTC in the cmc. But for all the alts that wants to be so potential like the BTC they have to high their standard so that traders will get in. But in addition, for all the new alts like the aci coin, time will come people here in cmc will get attached into and grows more.

This two coins have both potentials and i think its really good to hold those two coins. But replace bitcoin of ether i think its hard to happen because all those altcoins are relying on bitcoin so never one can replace it. The good thing we do now is hold bitcoin and ether for we get a good profit.

Eth and Btc are the two most potential alts in the marketplace. Both of these alts are surely fine, but I don't think that Eth will replace Btc in the near future. But in addition there still a lot of good alts that traders could try like the Aci coin.

I personally prefer Ethereum and BNB to other altcoins just because they are performing well in the market. Nothing more than that I know about cryptocurrency. But I do not buy your views about ethereum and bitcoin. I think no coin will replace bitcoin as bitcoin is a founding coin of digital currency and people largely believe in it and they support it.

Ethereum is different from Bitcoin, because it is more of a smart contract platform. But for usage as a currency, Ethereum doesn't have too many advantages over Bitcoin. That's certainly true, mate. While no other altcoin has been capable of replacing Bitcoin, we cannot deny the fact that Ethereum has been the closest one to the pioneer cryptocurrency in every way. For once, both cryptocurrencies (ETH and BTC) had a small gap in market capitalization leading many to believe a "flippening" was going to happen. While the bear market of 2018 greatly diminished ETH's chances of replacing Bitcoin across the market, anything could happen in the future. After all, Ethereum's superior than Bitcoin in its technical aspects. If you compare transaction activity among both blockchain networks, you'll notice that Ethereum has greater activity than Bitcoin itself (according to Flippening Watch).

For now, Bitcoin has kept the lead as the world's largest cryptocurrency by market cap. But a constant decrease in its price, could reduce the gap in market cap allowing Ethereum to become closer in taking Bitcoin's place as the largest cryptocurrency worldwide. With new scalability improvements on the way for both cryptocurrencies (BTC and ETH), things will become interesting in the adoption of Blockchain technology worldwide. Let's hope these blockchains would work together in order to make the industry a better place. Even if Ethereum never manages to replace Bitcoin, it can serve as a complement to the main BTC blockchain by providing other "De-Fi" (Decentralized Finance) services to people worldwide. Just my opinion

Adoption is pretty low overall and ETH has a chance to release something that draws in users. If any crypto releases something that becomes insanely popular it could flip a lot of this small market.

I definitely find myself using the ETH ecosystem a lot more than I ever use bitcoin. With all of the store of value talk it doesn't seem like many users think BTC will have a robust platform/userbase and instead be more of a savings/investment coin.

Ethereum's biggest Chan to overtake bitcoin was during the ICO boom but it didn't happen and since then it has been a rollercoaster for the blockchain. I sincerely doubt we will see another influx of ICOs in the market again, we already have thousands without any breakthrough.

I have never seen any cryptocurrency replacing the pioneer  cryptocurrency being bitcoin. Even if the process of ethereum  has been progressing for sometime now, it's almost impossible, infact it is impossible for ethereum to dominate or replace bitcoin.

there will definitely be changes in the future, because as we know every new product has at least a better idea and the old product in this case is bitcoin at least there will definitely be a time to be replaced. so i guess it doesn't matter because as long as they can continue to make it better or continue to develop i don't think it's a problem, but to be able to replace bitcoin won't happen quickly and i'm just sure it will take a long time

It is true that everything is unpredictable, but let us draw back where bitcoin has always been the core, like the sun in the solar system, I don't look at ETH as weak, but indeed all this time ETH is enough to accompany bitcoin, I'm not hypocritical, if it's ETH so at the top, I can't argue as long as it's good for our common good.

Well the future of crypto currency is so unpredictable, anything can happen and any coin can replace bitcoin but not just any coin though, there are standard such Coin got to meet and I don't see Ethereum leveling up that standard.

I am a person who believes in the advancement of Ethereum technology and I also hold Ethereum, what you said above is true and I agree with that. But if talking about Ethereum will replace bitcoin someday, I'm still in doubt. bitcoin is the predecessor of cryptocurrency and has a broad community, maybe ethereum was also created because it was inspired by bitcoin.

If and only if the bitcoin has been replaced by ethereum, many of investors will not gonna trust ethereum so easily because they are loyal supporters of the bitcoin. But we all know that this is impossible since all of the investors really trust and supports it that is why it is impossible to be replaced. The support and the trust of the investors is the main reason why bitcoin is still on the top.

In the future, it is possible in addition to ETH, if other altcoins are developed, it can replace Bitcoin, ETH is a very potential altcoin and has the opportunity to develop in the future and have many practical applications. Bitcoin cannot be replaced when capitalization is pouring into Bitcoin.
