okay , u can say ETH is the biggest candidate for beating btc, but according to the fact on coinmarketcap, ETH is soo far far away from BTC.
and i just speculate , even eth if 2.0 is succes , its still no make any change for it.

There is some possibility before Ethereum hardford to two chains.,but now it's impossible for ETH to replace BTC.

If Ethereum replaces bitcoin one day, there will definitely be a lot of shitcoin popping up under the auspices of the ethereum blockchain. No doubt, now there are so many shitcoins in circulation, what will happen if ETH is ranked 1, thousands of shitcoins will be created. yes we all hope too, moreover ethereum has smart contracts with several ico projects at the moment, and if ethereum can replace bitcoin someday. this will win a new history that some tokens that have been generated from the erc20 platform, will increase significantly and have good selling points. and maybe nothing will ever be called a trash token again

I think this will never happen at all, although ETH is a good and promising coin, but still Bitcoin is much stronger and more promising
everything is very simple because bitcoin has those properties that ETH can never possess, but Ethereum does not have those properties that bitcoin cannot possess. that's why ETH can never be the first. Just a simple logic

It could happen but for the time being, we should concentrate on Bitcoin, Bitcoin first then others will follow, when majority of the people in the world are now using Bitcoin, we can think of a better alternative, it could not be Ethereum right away, there's a lot of new coin coming or coins now that are now improving.
The best store of value in my opinion is that of Bitcoin and not Ethereum as you have said, also, Bitcoin has been confirmed as a good store of value by professionals. Ethereum cannot replaces Bitcoin because they are not built on the same platform. Bitcoin being the "mainstream of the manifestation of the Blockchain" with this, Bitcoin will remain in the frontier world of cryptocurrency and no altcoins can displace it from the leading.

Maybe it won't happen in the future also, because bitcoin itself already growed since 2009 and eth is just launched in 2014.

There is probability for anything to happen in this world but the level of the probability tells how likely that even can happen. With the current market trend of Ethereum, it is apparent that Ethereum has low probability of surpassing Bitcoin on the market. Comparing just the market caps and dominance alone reveal that Ethereum has a long way to go to surpass Bitcoin.
