Lol, that's a pretty crazy line of thought there. I mean all the talk about him being from the future. Just wow. BTC sure seems like something for the future. But seriously, is there any assurance that the currency will outlive the inventor? So many questions or uncertainties come to mind. I really want to be optimistic though. To think otherwise is rather too scary.

What if he's not dead and he's live. Could you be Satoshi? Please if it's you let us know okay. I really want to see his fresh posts again or his face.

Maybe he was an 80 year old man that, as a last resort to life, made Bitcoin, then died due to old age?
Oh naa, I don't think he'll be that old. Satoshi will definitely be in his youthful age. I say so because all those who started crypto were young, and well what if they were his friends. The first group of people to start a new invention on the internet are always friends.

Well it would be good news then because it would mean that the satoshi coins would never get dumped. And if they were dumped the bitcoin would be doomed. I believe that satoshi must be either dead or have no access to coins.

I don't think it changes anything, the cryptocurrency is pretty fine going without him. He isn't involved into something now and cryptomarket is a self-sufficient sphere
That is true, he created something that he don't need to follow/ secure or do anything special about it, he just created perfect machine, for me (like for you) this situation don't change anything if it is true.

Well, this is a doubt now. I'm not sure satoshi died this time. How could he leave this behind?
I just think that right now he's just hiding behind a mask, who would have thought we were in the middle of us by being someone else. Grin

We all should respect the basic rights of Satoshi Nakamoto. He just wanted some privacy. If he wanted fame or popularity, he would have announced himself to the world. It should not be our concern whatever he does. Am i right guys ?

The problem he faces, is he can't prove that he is. What if he's one of those nuts out there who claims he is him and just lost his computer with all of his log-in and it's actually true.

Satoshi Nakamoto, rather dead or alive…we don’t need to fear and worry anything because bitcoin is decentralized digital currency, meaning weather Nakamoto is still alive and living happily or not, it is safe and has a benefits for us, nation-states cannot shut down the network. Smiley

Hypothetically speaking, what if he just randomly died one day, yet no one knew, and everyone thinks he's alive still?

He used to be the most active member on this forum, then he just stopped. Maybe he had a heart attack one morning, he could have slipped down a staircase and banged his head, some guy could have dropped a rock from an airplane and it crushed him underneath, who knows?

Maybe he was an 80 year old man that, as a last resort to life, made Bitcoin, then died due to old age?

Bitcoin is still living. That is all that matters. What if something happens to Vitalik Buterin? That is a very silly question. What if Elon Musk dies. What if Mark Zuckerberg dies. Is this the Jerry Springer Show. What a riot?

This is an old thread and in 2013 this was interesting but now it doesn't really matter anymore.
Alive or dead he can't influence BTC.
Maybe the value of BTC would skyrocket if he revealed his identity to the public but after some time things would go back to normal.
Whales manipulate the value of coins so one man can't do much. Not even Satoshi himself.

Every human being is destined to die, but the works do not die in view of the evolution that we see now. For example, the inventor of the fall, Thomas Edison, invented the lamp and illuminated the world and satoshi Nakamoto invented the Blockchain, which changed some of the concepts in the Internet that have become the control of all the requirements in our lives and it is better to consider the answer to the inventions
right. no one knows for sure he is alive or dead. but his work are blockchain brings great changes to the development of technology in the world. although is currently still a lot of pros and cons, but it is something that is natural

We do not even know who this person or group of people is, maybe everything is much more complicated. Extremely many theories about who was favorable before this new method of payment transactions.
