Maybe it will confused thousands of people of what bitcoin is all about.But when you come deeper to it,it will amaze massive people of what it could possibly offer to the viewers especially those who are interested to gain extra income without much effort to make.
I don't think it is a good idea to advertise bitcoin on tv as it is expensive and it's difficult to understand what bitcoin is in like 30 sec. And who will pay the fee in the first place.
Yeah right, I think it is not easy to understand the bitcoin being different with real money, advertising on tv is very expensive and if done on a massive will not much effect because all countries have yet to approve the bitcoin.

Bitcoin being commercialized on the Television would allow more people that haven't heard about Bitcoin to get involved with Bitcoin. Since there's people that like to make money doing a bunch of odd things then I am pretty sure that there would be people who will be interested in making money by only investing their money into Bitcoin.
The MSM has made a few attempts to push bitcoin, it seems Hollywood writers are into cryptos ( I remember an Adult Swim bump that listed the writer's favorite alts). They mentioned it on Almost Human, and Family Guy. But it's still a bit arcane and too technical for the masses; btc needs alot more user friendliness before widespread adoption is possible.
i haven't seen one as well and i'm pretty sure my country doesn't have one. It's quite a good idea to advertise bitcoin on Television so people will know about bitcoin, but who will advertise it? Like as you know, the fees for tv advertation is expensive. And also, bitcoin is a bit too complex to advertise on television. Not many people will understand it and i think bitcoin is quite well known already. We can use internet and social media to advertise it though, rather than television advertisement.
If bitcoin will be advertise on tv it would be a good move for it because we all know that almost every household have it and not all has computer to see whats happening online. however its a currency and not a product so i dont think its necessary, i believe btc will become popular and recognize by many people without advertising it on tv.

I think maybe huge companies can advertise their products and tell it on television that they now accept bitcoin. I think that would be best way to introduce bitcoin and gain more popularity
Advertise bitcoin on TV? Seriously? bitcoin is a currency not a product or brand but it can be broadcasted in news not in an advertisement form. Bitcoin already gain its popularity and that can be consider progress.
Bitcoin gained popularity, but it is not spread in all over the world. To do spread this news we need media support. Only from this support, we can advertise about bitcoin in all over the world. But why it is not advertising in media means, our govt will not allow medias to do publicity for this Bitcoin because there is no income from this Bitcoin to govt.yes I agree people will get interested on bitcoin yes, but as what you have said government will take a lead and they will make a way, they will limit our earning , they put taxes and we cannot earn bitcoin anonymously.
I think no need to advertise bitcoin for now because it it already known globally and now even Ransomware Worm are introduce bitcoin as their mode of payment so the people who are infected are now know bitcoin and it been news on international media.

It's not a great idea and in fact, bitcoin would not advertise in television since they don't need it. Their market is big enough and they have succeed already in their market. In the other hand, advertisement in television would be worth it for merchants that accept bitcoin.

The way Bitcoin succeeds is not by badgering people into getting into it prematurely, it's working on it until it's so obviously superior that no one requires any persuasion. Everyone has heard the word by now. It still doesn't fulfil any genuine needs for most people.

Now I think that is best to not advertise bitcoin as much, the network is already at its full capacity. Better wait for BU or Segwit.

Well television as far as I know is one of the biggest source of information aside from the internet so it is indeed that advertising it on TV can affect its popularity as well as to its status and it can give an interest for the people to know what is bitcoin but I guess the problem is that a media network would make a lot of conditions in order to make it happen and for sure the government will interfere .

This is a great news actually, with the television we can easily promote the usage and features of bitcoin in the whole world. And as far as I know in the other country bitcoin was being advertise in the other news of some countries. But most of it was in you tube advertisement
