Know your customer (kyc) is one security measure I support and do not hesitate to fill-in all my kyc required details. KYc is being used by exchanges, ico project some bounty managers etc.
But is kyc really needed in gambling section. I experienced a very hectic kyc procedure when trying to register onto a gambling site with them telling me they would get back to me after some day so I wonder what if I got a pressing game I needed to play immediately.
In my own opinion kyc is not of major importance in gambling section. What do you guys think
I believe that KYC is required for the gambling sites mother prevent to be accused as form of money laundering place.because we knew how big money is running in very gambling sites and government is watching them.and for me I guess that’s for transparency as well from the bettors, winners and also the management

It seems to me that the provision of KYC should be associated only with the amount of winnings that the gambler wants to withdraw from the gaming site.  If for example the amount of funds exceeds $ 2,000 or $ 3,000, then you may be required to provide passport information.
I don't support this idea in a way and it's not helpful. Let's say I want to withdraw I can avoid kyc by withdrawing within the limits as many time as possible just to beat the Kyc so I don't think it's gonna work

KYC is important, but only after you register an account. Not before withdrawal. This is really annoying. You wanna get your coins and you have to send scanned IDs or ID photos and the customer support or the automatic ID verification services can't accept the ID photos, because they are "blurry",while they are quite clear.I hate that shit...
Honestly, KYC is not important in gambling site even after register and that's only if something fishy or huge money is not involved. Any gambling site which asks their users for KYC if something fishy is not been notice or the fund won or withdrawing by the player is up to 2BTC is actually abuse the KYC gambling site KYC procedure.
Mind you, windice don't have such situations.
Lol some legit gambling sites here are requiring KYC as well specially if the winner gets jackpot or something related to that

But I support you that KyC must not get involved in crypto because we are here for privacy and we cannot have that if they will require our personal thing to present

Winding down.
Perhaps online casinos should have certain levels of KYC verification like many exchanges do. I really do not see why the casino would need kyc information if the player is a small bettor. The only time that a real world casino gathers KYC and AML information in the US is if the player attempts to purchase more than about 3000 chips or cash them in.
That's why crypto casinos are suitable for small bettors because in fiat casino IIRC they have a high minimum while in crypto gambling site, even 10 usd, you can enjoy gambling especially in dice where there's a very small minimum per bet.

In sports gambling too, there's a big difference as a small bettor who likes to enjoy betting on sports can bet at 1 usd per bet.

Unfortunately, although the identity sharing of customers in the gambling industry is not perceived as secure, it is unfortunately important. It is particularly important that the gambling company or service recognizes its own customer and that it contains customer information in the event of an illegal situation. Of course, it is also quite normal that the user does not trust such services or that documents such as identity and passports are not sent to such services. It is important to know that for the safety of both the player and the playing party, it is important to know the customer well and to have documents about that customer. We, as a customer, should complete this process without any inconvenience, but only by using reliable services.

As far as I'm concern most of the gambling section are not implementing this concepts of kyc.
In fact, KYC only applicable for the investors and bounty hunters and to all centralized exchange as well but
not in gambling site, because being a gambler is not a type of skills that to be consider compare to being a
crypto traders.

KYC, in most crypto's casino, will be asked only on rare occasions, mostly due to suspicious activities carried out by users. Overall, we don't need to worry too much about this KYC procedure in the gambling business. As long as we don't do something bad, we should be fine!

If the casino is proven to be a trusted brand n the online gambling industry, I don't see any reason to refuse their KYC procedure. But in the case of igaming sites which aren't yet established and proven trusted, KYC can be risky for players.
Well, you have a point there. I do not hesitate my self to comply KYC implementation if that gambling site platform had already built a good reputation here in the forum and at least they are operated at least 6 months old is enough to insight whether they are legit or not. Indeed, the KYC procedure is very risky to the gamblers that might abuse from fake the gambling company that the intention is to fool people and gather personal information and sell into the dark web for their own benefits.

Livecasino, 20% cashback, no fuss payouts.

But that's kind of the exact problem with kyc in gambling, that it is enforced AFTER money is deposited. I have no problems with sites that ask right away and upfront. Then at least people like me who never want to do KYC if possible, we can see this and we can go elsewhere. I choose the sites that don't do kyc, so I never have a surprise at the end of the day when they want to kyc my ass on some random suspicion they just made up.

Here's a Bitcointalk thread about why crypto players hate KYC procedures in online casino: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.50780694

That's correct because when they implement that, it would be a downfall of their business, the trend now is no KYC and everyone can play anytime without supplying their real information. KYC is only important if the gambling site is fully regulated, if not all casinos are fully regulated, of course we will choose the one that gives us privacy which we can gamble anonymously.

This is the first time I heard that a gambling site requiring their players to submit KYC. Where most of the time the loss for the players is high chance for them not for the owner of the gambling platform. This is ridiculous actually, I think with this rules no one will partake or attempt to play in the gambling in which has a KYC requirements very unsuitable for the gambling players.

Seems like the wisest route is to preempt a surprise check for documents or whatever by clearing the account to begin with, dont play big money till thats out of the way to avoid the possible freeze of the account.   It would be best if companies themselves suggested or allowed for this option.
I dont see why its a thing anyway, if the account were funded via card especially then all they have to do is reverse transaction to remove themselves from any responsibility for source, handling of cash from unknowns or laundering legislation.   Its common place in finance to always reverse card transactions back to source, hence the balance in net is a zero transaction and any blame for movement of funds remains with the account holder.

Same here. I hate to see the KYC emails because it will become a pain to check all documents one more time. KYC should be easier for gambling sites but gambling sites forces the gamblers for sending the best quality photos of the personal documents. Scanned documents were not accepted last time due to the lack of ID corners on the scanned file. That nightmare was real, unfortunately. The deeper points are more scary for me, there are no exit from the scam projects, unfortunately.

KYC is fine as long as they can protect the member's documents, and I am sure the members will want to complete the KYC process. But if the gambling website cannot give protection, then we need to search for the other gambling website which can give that. Our data is important, and we need to secure for our safety.
You sure that people want to complete the process of KYC? there will be few that's willing to do that but I think that majority aren't really okay with KYC but if that's being pushed by the casino that you're staying then you have no choice but to obey if that's part of their change. Knowing on how they can secure the data of their customers depends on how they are willing to disclose their security.
