In gambling, of course KYC is not needed at all in my opinion. Because people play gambling just for fun without anything complicated. Just an example, if someone just first gambles and the goal is just to have fun. Is the person complicated by doing kyc first. In gambling doing kyc seems to be a waste of time. I have never played gambling on a site that requires members to do kyc first.

Usually, trusted gambling websites will ask you for KYC verification if you have massive transaction and balance on your account, for security purposes. I dont see any point on requiring KYC procedures before using the website and gamble. Requiring KYC verification before using the website will decrease the chance of registering new clients.
There’s no difference between asking for KYC at the beginning of the game or towards the end at withdrawal. I think I even prefer those that ask for KYC before the game, so I can easily look for an alternative site that would allow me gamble. Those that ask for KYC when for withdrawal of huge amount are even the worst betrayals, this is why I ensure to go through the T&C of a site before gambling

KYC is not important in gambling, it’s not even safe for gamblers. Judging from the bad reputation of gambling, so many people call gamblers all manner of dirty names and some people even categorize those who gamble as unserious individuals and this is one of the reasons why gamblers enjoy to play secretly with their information hidden.

It depends on the individual gambler of course. For you it's probably okay but some aren't at ease with providing their information. Some people find it more secure when they play anonymously. The sites where you put in your information can be hacked and kyc info can be compromised. That's what crypto casinos are trying to solve but kyc verification removes anonymity and makes some people feel vulnerable.

One of the reason why we spend money on these online casinos rather than using the real life casinos is that there is added anonymity. And in case this anonymity is destroyed, then people may visit these sites less often. I can understand in case they ask for KYC if the user wins a very big reward. But to make KYC compulsory for all the users, regardless of their deposit amounts is a retrograde move. Or are they going to suspect anyone who gambles away $10 for money laundering?

KYC is important, but in gambling? I don't think gamblers would like it.
The non KYC requirement is what makes the crypto casinos and fiat casino different, we should not forget that.

Yes.Although KYC is one of those security measures most casino sites are doing, but there are still a lot of casino players who prefer to stay anonymous by not complying to KYC procedure. There are still chances that those sites can be hacked making your personal information stealed by hackers and may even use in some other illegal activities.

Implementation of KYC in gambling field gives the confidence and trust mostly everyone is is being little bit worry about the transaction but after the KYC verification everyone identity is verified so no one will fraud anyone that is the useful thing the importance of this KYC method.
Despite the fact that kyc allow for the identification of the player on the site and give access to features without restrictions, it also important to know the kind of information you give out to random site because some scammer use this same information to either steal identity and use it to carryout illegal activities and that is why in the online gambling business players always try to avoid this process.

The purpose and objective of KYC is to prevent fraud, money laundering and to imply the security measures which is necessary for both users and the gambling site. It will benefit us though it sometimes causes us hassle. It's important for the monitoring of legit transactions as well.

I couldn't agree more, It's good that the gambling site is doing that because it only means they wanted to protect the gamblers as well from fraud. KYC is very important because it can make the gambler and the owner to feel at ease knowing that all people using the website has been fully verified. It might be bothersome to fill out but just look at the bright side of it of being secure.
I beg to disagree with these points. KYC regulations to prevent money laundering have no way it secures gamblers. It’s just a policy the government feels it’s necessary to prevent the activities of those who launder money and other fraudulent activities and I personally feel it has nothing to do with gamblers. Have you ever wondered how this protects the interest of a gambler? And do you think this is safe for a gambler? Off course NO

As a gambler, I love it when I play without my information been disclosed, I always loved gambling when I was much younger but because I hated staying in the gathering of people to play games, I avoided casino centers but I was so glad when I discovered online gambling, where I have t do it privately without having to tell anyone about myself. KYC is not of any use in gambling.

I beg to differ as well! KYC is actually a very effective method to prevent money laundering and it applies to gambling businesses as well. Crypto gambling accounts can be very easily used to park illegally obtained funds. KYC certainly helps to curb such kind of activities.

Secondly, the increasing number of minor gamblers are becoming a global issue nowadays. KYC provides a robust security against this issue. I personally think KYC should be implemented in crypto gambling business as well to fight with such risks!

I dont agree with kyc procedure at all, I think crypto should be anonymous, no matter how legit and secure the site is, identity is a really important data, once it leaked nothing can stop the hacker to used it for a lot of purpose, if I want to reveal my identity then its better to used centralised gambling site, at least when I do kyc there is a law that could help me when something happen

But I don't think that is necessary for a gambler to fills the KYC because most of them want to hide their identity from the internet. They are playing online gambling with crypto because they can to stay behind the radar besides that, and they don't want to send any document to the gambling website. They still care about their identity and will not send any document for just playing gambling.

KYC is not needed in cryptocurrency world and even in gambling place. I'll not register in one gambling place that need KYC to create an account and I'll leave it and find some gambling place that not need KYC. I guess if there is gambling KYC that need KYC to create an account especially in that use cryptocurrency I'll believe the gambling site is deserve to be leaved. And even there is no gambling addict who will create an account over there because we all know anonymity is something important for crypto users.

Know your customer (kyc) is one security measure I support and do not hesitate to fill-in all my kyc required details. KYc is being used by exchanges, ico project some bounty managers etc.
But is kyc really needed in gambling section. I experienced a very hectic kyc procedure when trying to register onto a gambling site with them telling me they would get back to me after some day so I wonder what if I got a pressing game I needed to play immediately.
In my own opinion kyc is not of major importance in gambling section. What do you guys think
mostly the implementation of KYC gives the confidence for the people to stay safe for and if any problems for their going on you will easily trace your identity using the KYC method and they will also perform well and find the best person to give proper guidance.

I do not understand your point of view here. How can a  player KYC help to solve the players problems. Usually players face withdrawal problems, problems related to site and doing a KYC for a player / gambler will not help in anyway. Yes, we should have a KYC for the gambling site and casino so that every knows who is running the site and he can't scam or run away.
How can you be so certain that KYC would help know who runs the site? KYC has no business with disclosing the identities of the operators of a site but rather the visitors or client so it’s always better to have the understanding of a thing before dropping comments.  I would understand better if you said most sites that request for KYC are licensed and that probably makes it safe but that would have also been wrong.

Playing on a KYC site is not too safe even though the site might be legit, there is possibility of the site losing information to dark web especially when the website is hacked . So if you are gambling on a
Site with KYC regulations, be aware that you are risking your information.

I do not mind KYC for a gambling site. If you are genuine and you have no intention to cheat or scam, then there is no need to fear of KYC.  Also by doing kyc, the people will not be involved in any illegal activities.
I am favor on this, why we should afraid of KYC? If we know that site is legit and have a good reputation then, why not submit your personal data. Online gambling is mostly used cryptocurrency as a fund to deposit and since online it is prone to hack and scam and I guess having KYC/AML implementation is a big help to trace if there are fraud activities, besides KYC implementation is often now in ICO/IEO projects and I guess it is also applicable in gambling because we also talking money here.
Some people believe that if cryptocurrency is decentralized and the transaction is completely anonymous then people should remain anonymous too. Even if it is a legit website people still don't trust the system of passing KYC since most of these websites are being hacked and the hacker could easily identify them and use their personal information.

Many casinos implement KYC to avoid getting a lawsuit for laundering since like in real life gambling, casinos can be places for fraud and other crimes.

There are still many people not comfortable with it though since it's possible for the casinos to sell the information. If established companies like Facebook has been shown to leak data just imagine some random site operated from god-knows-where by people you know little off.
