Cryptocurrency investors are more 'risk-averse' than traders, since they are more comfortable with leaving their investments alone and are not concerned with the daily price volatility. However, traders are risk-takers since frequent trading incurs a much higher degree of risks. This is because the extreme volatility of short-term cryptocurrency prices can present traders with the opportunity to make lots of money but could be equally disastrous if they are on the wrong side of the bet. Additionally, traders often engage in margin trading, which is a practice of borrowing funds from third parties to trade cryptocurrencies. Margin trading significantly increases the risks of trading since the traders have the ability to make more money (as compared to using their own funds) but also increases their potential losses.

Investment is kind of the best for me. Me personally doesn't like the risk of trading as I have no specific knowledge about it. I've been trying to figure it out but I'm having a loss at it so I quit. I'm into holding right now and it gives me a good profit and less risk of losing money. I know day trading is quite good in terms of daily profit but the loss is unbearable if you're not an expert in that space.

I have been a day trader but want to know if it’s a good idea to hold bitcoin for long, whether it will be more profitable?

I think only you can answer this question.  Look at the entire net profit of all you have made day trading, and then compare it to how much money you would have if you only bought and never sold.  Which is higher?  If you've made more day trading than you would have made by never selling any, then you're better off doing what you're doing.  If it's the other way around, then you should stop day trading immediately.

For me, investing is a good one because it requires the least effort since all you do is just watch your investment grow and in the right time, take the profits that you have incurred over a period of time during the investing.

I will definitely go with investing rather than trading.Trading is very risky and can easily lead to loss of funds unlike investing where you can easily made profits especially when you made the right choices and invest in good project with a hard working team and a great working plan.
Well, both of them are risky but yeah, the risk goes more with trading and you need to keep grinding for you to always win the market. While the investors, there's only a needed thing to do and that's to have a good amount of capital and wait until it nourishes through time.
That's making the right choice but salute to those folks that are doing the same thing and making trading as their daily source of income.

For me trading is better and more profitable than investing, with trading we can still get profit even though the market is red, investing is very risky because crypto is difficult to predict in the future because many have been delisted from the market.
By the way you are saying this you are making it seem as if trading is safer than investing and nothing could be further from the truth, between the two trading is more risky as you are trying to time the moment you invest in a coin and then get out as soon as things seem to go in the wrong direction, when we add the fees, taxes, the possibility of the exchange where you are trading being hacked and even more factors that escape my mind at the moment there is no doubt that trading is more risky albeit more profitable.

I think trading is better and more profitable than investing, I emphasize that this is crypto, price increases can occur hundreds of percent so that we have more opportunities to develop money without waiting a long time.

evaluate your own abilities then ask yourself and you will definitely get the best answer.  if you do not have knowledge in trading and also patience then investment is the best for you and vice versa (i personally think long term investment is more profitable for me so i can save time and keep doing my offline work).  other people's suggestions can only be your benchmark because after all only you know which one is best for you.

Every day trader or traders in general has their PNL in their profile, you can easily compare and contrast that with your trades and bags you are holding.
Been holder has its advantages as you never miss every pump but the other side is, you don't sell and you may easily loose those profits but when it comes to trading, their risk management, you know when to enter a trade and to exit a trade.

Everyone has their own views on which is better, whether trading or investing,
but for this I prefer to trade as you choose because it is more profitable than investment,
even so, trading is not as easy as we imagine because the risk will always be there

In particular, if you'll going to hold Bitcoin the chance to gained decent amount of money is very possible, knowing that

this coin have that capabilities to bounce back, if you trace those previous market run, it can be said that by holding the

profits is really high, but if you are a risk taker and can do handle pressure with trading, it's also a good place to invest

just managed to work with your daily targets.

Before going into what i have to say concerning Cryptocurrency, I want to start by saying that  Cryptocurrency  trading is simply the means of digital currency with either fiat or other assets  with the sole aim of making profit  while that of Cryptocurrency investing is all about investing digital currency for a longer period of time still to make profit.
Now coming down to the differentiation between the duo, When we say  we are trading, it simply means that we put our money into different goods and services inorder to buy and sell to make profit in no distant of a time. while that of Investing means putting our money into a particular goods or services for longer period of time.
The first is characterized by profit maximization for a short period of time with many goods and serviices,  while the Later is still aim at  Profit Maximization for longer period of time especially with few goods or services.

If you understand the cryptocurrency market, I recommend that you use 80% of your funds to buy Bitcoin and 20% to buy altcoins and make investments. Because Bitcoin is long-term, you can make a profit by holding it for a long time without selling it. Altcoins are generally short-term swings, which can make profits more easily.

Trade and Hold are two very different methods of trying to profit in the markets.
The investors seek profits through buying and holding coins for long periods of time.
In contrast, traders take advantage of market volatility to enter and exit positions within a shorter time frame, reaping smaller and more frequent profits.
Investing have a long-term approach to the market and are often used for purposes such as retirement accounts. Trading deals with short term strategies to maximize daily, monthly profits.

Sometimes it is better to not ask ourselves such general questions and instead to try to ask ourselves what is better for us? Trading is more profitable than just holding but can you do it? If you can then maybe you should consider trading and if you enjoy it then that is great, but even if you can profit from it if you are miserable while you trade as the activity is too hard then maybe it is a better idea to become and investor and earn less money but be way more happy about it as you do not want to be in front of your computer all day making trades.

So which is better "trading or investing"?  Both are.  It just depends on what you want and how bad you want it.
Both are recommended if you're open to it.

There really are chances that you're not a good trader but you're a good investor and also a risk taker. Whilst in the side of trading, you can also good there but you're always get rekt with investments.

In my opinion investing is much better and benefical on long run, because trading is similar to gambling (especially day trade), since you are counting on a speculative volatile market which moves up and down without apparent reason sometimes, being impossible to rely on market analyzes and patterns to guarantee your daily profit trading. That is very dangerous if you are using money you can't afford to lose. On the other hand for people who have fixed income it's not a big issue and trading can be even considered a hobby activity.

But for people who are looking for safer ways to grow their funds, investments are the best option, but only if they consider it on long run. There aren't solid investments on short run, because businesses take time to show positive effects or profit. And if there isn't any real business behind the investment in question, it's not a good investment at all and should be avoided.

The answer to this question is dependent on several factors like  goals and personality. While some people buy and hodl because they are bad traders, some just want to have digital assets added to their portfolio in addition to stocks and real estate assets. For some others the goal is to be rich through crypto trading. These folks have seen the potentials to make big bucks and the high ROI crypto offers. Despite the volatility of the market, they have decided that it's either they get "rich trading or they cry 😭 tryin."

So which is better "trading or investing"?  Both are.  It just depends on what you want and how bad you want it.
