In my opinion this is an ethereum. You can also note stellar, waves and eos. As for the ripple, I have different views. This coin is centralized and is in the hands of the United States authorities
I think the best altcoin to invest in right now would be Waves platform tokens. The price is under four dollars and there is so much going on with the project. There will be smart contracts and atomic swaps implemented this year.
