I think illiteracy is the main cause of poverty. lagging behind, inactivity, laziness are the another causes of poverty. poverty doesn't attack a man. a man calls the poverty.

I agree with you. Poverty is a major problem that every country face nowadays. I think the best reason is because of some corrupt government officials. They are getting some money from the citizens that is not really belong to them. High amount value of tax are also present with no reasonable explanations. I think the best solutions is we, humans should think wisely and learn how to fight for their rights so they can get what they deserve and to avoid poverty.

for me the common cause of poverty is POOR ECONOMIC STABILITY and CORRUPTION. when it comes to person itself i think the common cause of poverty is UNEMPLOYMENT, SICKNESS and LAZINESS.

For me, the common cause of poverty is the corruption. Corruption because of many corrupted people working in the government. The corrupted people  get the money of government who came from the hand of people who pay thier taxes and such. Also, lack of jobs may considered as  cause of poverty.Many people who are in their street, home and everywhere. They tried to work but there's no available jobs or oppurtunities open for undergraduate even college graduate, not all college graduates have work ,some of them are still looking for a job.

Because some government is thinking about the people and some is exclusively fixated on itself

You are absolutely right. If you are hardworking, then there are thousands of opportunities out there to get good amounts of money. But on the other hand, if you have an aversion to learning new skills, then it can result in poverty. Education is a tool which can be used by everyone to get out of poverty.

Common cause of povery is "Laziness". We all don't want to work much. If you have ability to work then you can find some works. There is no unemployment there is laziness.

I live in PAKISTAN or IRAN  my government tells me to go over to the UK and pretend you have been attacked by your own country then i have a child
and my government sends money over puts my child in the best schools and then one day the child goes and tries to be an MP a council dude ..

Then one day it gets in power and then sends all our secrets to it's own country it's parents was sent over as spies ..

And what if they send 10 thousand to do this action maybe 2 or 3 will get in..

for me, poverty is a choice because if you really want to make your life better find a work, don't be lazy that's all.

The common cause of poverty is lack of education and corruption of some government official. All taxes paid by the tax payers or the resident of the country must pay the corresponding amount but some government official use the money for personal purposes. Also the cause of poverty is the over population in the family.

Unemployment can be defeated with education. The poor needs to learn new skills, so that they can be employed by various private companies and corporations. But then, if you are lazy and not interested in learning new skills then you can sit at home and live off the welfare payments.

When i got married and have a child it is very hard for us to eat at least 3x a day because my husband doesn't have a stable job that time. The common cause of poverty is lack of job to sustain your needs.

unemployment. it's better to be underemployment than to be unemployed and lack of support of the government the common cause of poverty of country.

"Stupid" here is not random where, for example if they go to school, they will get ugly. Not so But more to the lack of access to the education they need for their lives. For example, fishermen may not be in need of physics; But knowledge of seawater variants could support them in job configuration

the cause is the low level of education and the lack of job opportunities makes poverty increasing and unemployment is increasing every year because many do not continue to higher education level.

There is a saying, as long as the richer get rich, the poor will always gets poorer, i'm sure lots of you got the point.

This saying summarize it all.
