Could be or could be not. But the worst case scenario for real will be if there are no miners to mine the coins. Price will fluctuate. But if there are no coins in the market to mine by the miners, that will be the worst possible thing to happen ever.

For me, those scammers who are using bitcoin as tool for deceiving people is what the worst case scenario for bitcoin for me. It is one of the reasons why people who don't have enough knowledge about bitcoin to hate it and will think that bitcoin is really a scam type of asset.

The worst bitcoin value is zero. Bitcoin can return $1000 and that is not the worst, people will cut losses if they can't tolerate. When that happens, many new investors will appear and the market will still function normally.

the worst scenario is that bitcoin is probably the price of bitcoin is falling to the base price and maybe bitcoin has no more requests and made a lot of people who suffered a lot of losses were the most severe.

I think the condition of the bitcoin price movement scenario is very clear, it will only give up and down movements and the condition of price increases will usually occur if there is good news.
I personally do not like the bear market of Bitcoin when it takes too long to switch into bull market, however I find it easy to use less money in order to buy coins in large quantity and other also want this. I hope that users should avoid selling for small profit in bear market so that the after buying more and holding your coins we will have a bull market in the upcoming days.

This is a known fact if the price goes up it will surely go down. What happens if the price of Bitcoin falls to $1000 in 2018, will this be considered as a Worst Case Scenario or something else?

In my own opinion, the worst case scenario of cryptocurrency when the price starts to dump, most of the people are panicking and they are selling their coins at its lowest price so cryptocurrency will dump even more.

That is my thoughts too. Bitcoin is going to increase in price if we have good news and reducing in pricing if there are bad news. I have been following this market and that is what always play out.  The current situation of bearish market is because of those ban and rejection bitcoin was having around January and February this year.

the worst case scenario for bitcoins is when the government is banning cryptocurrency on its country, in this way people will not be able to invest and bitcoins might die in the future.

Yeah that's even worse than whales dumping to 1k, since we can still expect a good comeback. Illegalization of crypto may very well put an end to this market and to all our crypto dreams.

The worst case for Bitcoin is probably the rapid development of other coins, Bitcoin cannot keep up, so bitcoin prices cannot increase but continually decrease.

Even though there is rapid development with the Bitcoin, there is less possibility for other coins to have a community like Bitcoin. Bitcoin is always the dominant currency because the majority of the investors still have high hopes of Bitcoin compared to others because other coins price is dropping very hugely.
yes, obviously bitcoin has been widely trusted by investors in this field, even though there are always new types of coins popping up if coins cannot be converted to bitcoin, newly launched coins will not be worth even their growth will not last long.

This is a decline in the number of participants and the quality is declining. More importantly the severity of the severity of the bitcoin has made many people go bankrupt. The bitcoin gradually loses trust and begins to be forgotten. I hope this will not happen at least right now, the probability is very small because this is only the worst case.

For hodlers since trust in bitcoin will be far less as an investment. But for the utilization of bitcoin,
it's a sign of normalizing the price range and possibly showing bitcoins potential as a payment system.

The worst case scenario would be USA banning all bitcoin related moves.
Back in the day when gambling was legal in USA for online gambling poker websites those websites made ton of money and one day FBI decided to seize all the casinos because of money laundry reasons and all that and all of a sudden those websites got blocked in USA and they had to move overseas.

Of course the big boys stayed and still hang around but nothing even remotely close to what it used to be. So we should hope the god that USA won't somehow ban bitcoin because if that happens than we are all screwed, that would be the worst thing that could happen in bitcoin world.

The worst case scenario that can happen to bitcoin to me is to fall to around $3000. However I doubt if this is going to happen as many of us bought bitcoin above $7000 and may likely not going to sell below that price as we would sell at loses.
The worst case scenario if Satoshi wakes up and decides to sell his one million bitcoins for fiat.
All fait would be lost in btc and it would crash back to the hundred dollar level.

Yeah, this would be the worse thing happen in the crypto market but it can not happen because we love things the most which we created after many struggles and hard work. Holding the Bitcoin in current technological world is more than anything and if you are going away from it then it would be the worst scenario. With the passage of time there is an increase recording in the number of participants which is a positive image and shows its bright future.

As usual people thought the worst scenario is if bitcoin price dropped to the lower price but i think this is not the worst situations because if bitcoin dropped to $1000 then people will starting to buy and keep it and from my point of view the worst scenario for bitcoin is if all of governments in this world try to against bitcoin and they attempts to destroy bitcoin and all of bitcoin users will got in jail because bitcoin forbidden in this world

For me bitcoin price dropping to $1,000 is not the worst case scenario this crypto world will ever had because even if the price goes low possibility of growing is indeed.

The worst of the worst scenario we will have is if we leave the support for this coin and let it die forever, that is the darkest day for the whole community
