I have many criterias to invest in an ICO, below, most important to less important
1. Team, clearly information with linkedin links showing education and experiences, must not a new account, twitter personal account with regular active status.
2. Their products, or products in their vision, how it work with blockchain, their token, how it used, is it possible. What they have achieved to date
3. How funds will be used, token allocation.
4. they must have a long term roadmap
5. What experts, communities, ICO listing sites are saying about them. Positive or negative.

Then if all's good i will invest.
Surely this is what's needed to evaluate an ICO, the 5 most important steps to determine which ICO is good or scam. We can not judge the ICO if one of these 5 steps is missing
it is true that with the 5 ways to choose a good ICO, it can be a benefit for all of us to be able to avoid the penny, because there have been a lot of ICO frauds that harm many investors

I would like to know what criteria you guys looks for to invest in any ICO?

I normally afraid to invest in any ICO if i like the project then i can invest in it when it will launch on any exchange.

Can you guys trow some light on ICO's in details whether it is good to invest in good project's ICO or better to wait for it to launch on any exchange?

For me there a couple of thing that I have to check out before i even start to think about investing in any ico
First I check to make sure that the product that they are pushing is one that they can actually carry along in the next couple of years
Then I check to make sure that the team are who they say they are
Lastly I check to make sure that they have a solid community of supporters behind them because it is the people that give the coin its value

Project should have strong demand for usage of blockchain technology. Most of ICOs cannot offer you project that really need cryptocurrency and decentralization.

When I want to invest in a new ICO first think I do is to make sure that the specific ICO has a good project. I like to invest in strong projects with a future

First, you need to check if they have not plagiarized the Whitepaper, Legit Team (Use facial recognition website) and RED FLAG for Animated Pictures, Grammars on their website, and How they market it.

But apparently.. ICOs are good for easy money even legit and fake.

I can start investing in a project only if I see that the project is really very cool, because otherwise I would not even invest in it, because I see that today there are a lot of people who are really constantly creating the same projects. .

It is not worth investing in any, it is right.  It is always worth looking at what a project is and what its prospects are, and whether the team that will be engaged in it will be able to complete it!

The  creteria I consider in investing in ICO are the public team, white paper, and the number of people they want to may sales during their ICO and how Long the project is going to last.

I do not invest now in new projects on the market because they often turn out to be a scam project, so you can simply lose all your money

There are a lot of scam .. but you should attract your attention to team, information on website, whitepaper and also you can find rating on many resources like ICOdrops, coinschedule, ICObazaar and calculate the average rating of the project.

First you need a lot of information about the project. Secondly, the public team. In the third - an interesting product. But I don’t pay much attention to the ratings.
Correctly, the ratings do not pay attention. Many sites sell your rating for money. Still need to look at the country of the project. For example Russian projects attract little money and often are scams. Many do not trust the Russian. Still need to study a road map , because it has basic information about ICO.

Definitely you need to check the team developer, whitepaper and the marketing team, the team developer is tge key to succeed so its really important to see the vision and the competency of the team, I have joined ICO several times and from my experience, its better to buy it when it already launched on exchanges, usually the predicted ICO price is always higher than when it reach on exchanges
Not sure about your suggestion because you don't know how much it will worth after being listed on exchange site. Hyped ico will touch more than 5x from the ico price. If you are seeing most of new icos are trading below the ico price  and then you didn't even do a proper analyzation about that. Hyped ico means a lot of support and speculators.

I have to be patient and wait for the listing on the exchanges. When cheaper, you can buy at a low price.

for now I don't really believe in ICO, because most of the prices don't match after listing on the exchange.

This period, one need to be extremely careful before investing in any ICO, the ICO failure rate has increased drastically and very little percentage of them get successful and are able to return profit after listing. Recently a lot of coins dump after managing to get to the exchange, personally I will advice buying at the exchange

There must be a good team behind, that is the basics, and also an idea, which has the place in the market. If these 2 are OK, than it is still a question, what the token metrics is like, and of course, if the project has sufficient support from the community.
