Hire Bitcointalk Camp. Manager @ r7promotions.com
Primary criteria which I consider while investing into any particular ICO are:
- Whitepaper
- Development team background
- Clear roadmap
- Social media interactions by the development team
- Real world use cases of the coin or token
I usually tend to check out these factors before deciding to invest into any particular ICO. Also, I tend to invest more often in a bull market when compared to a bear market due to obvious reasons.

The most important thing is the value and return of the investment. I will read the white paper carefully before investing. Study their team and partners, the practical application of ICO, if a project has no application, it is not worth investing.

I would like to know what criteria you guys looks for to invest in any ICO?

I normally afraid to invest in any ICO if i like the project then i can invest in it when it will launch on any exchange.

Can you guys trow some light on ICO's in details whether it is good to invest in good project's ICO or better to wait for it to launch on any exchange?

First of all, I'm looking at the person who designed this project on Bitcointalk, then looking at their idea of how much they want to raise funds and also on the position on the ICO ranking sites.

I prefer ICO projects, which solve problems of real life. Kodak is a good example: They provide a blockchain based platform "Kodakone", a marketplace for photos without need of a centralized instance. Also the ICO project in my signature is bringing an innovative solution for buying/selling cars and car sharing with all needed data/apps on blockchain without needed middlesmen.

My standard for ICO is that the project party must have real technology. Both the product and the application require the use of real entities, otherwise it is just a bubble show. Even if the bubble has not arrived, it will be directly destroyed. Therefore, it is recommended that newcomers do not choose ICO risk is very large.

My criteria of good ICO is first, they will need to have a unique project. Otherwise, they won't be able to beat the existing competitor.
The project must have some advisors who can be confirmed about their support on that ICO. And their team should have a real profile to avoid scam.

Number one is the feasibility of the project itself and what their goal is. Second, the team that is managing the project. Those are my top two considerations.

My criteria of course the credibility of the company if that is legit and no any bad records that gives them a good reputation. Another thins if they provide consistent income in their all operations.

1 I believe that the project must solve some real problem and be useful to society.
2 Team composition, work experience in similar projects.
3 Distribution of tokens
4 Competitiveness.
5 Clarity and transparency
6 Community
7 MVP

Of course, when choosing a project, I use much more criteria, but this is the main thing that should be paid attention.

When choosing ICO, I rely on several criteria. First I look at the team, the idea, then I read the whitepaper, and after that I look at the product. If all these criteria suit me. I take part in this ICO project.

I only see from project concept, ICO target and good they built communication with members. Because of that, mostly I invest on ICO project as last person, I should collect true information not " people says ". ICO result is same until now, chance to success is only 50%. Do what the best and right you can do, experience will give you the best guide.

1. Read whitepaper
2. Do proper research on their team and partners.
3. Check roadmap
4. I always prefer to invest in project which already have MVP ready.
5. Check their reviews on rating website.

Please ask yourselves... is the coin I’m investing in secure, fast, scalable, great development team and community? If not... that coin isn’t going anywhere. It’s a pump and dump. Having a small supply raises the price but in reality it will never be a “merchant” coin. Invest in the coin that has the ability to be the coin for commerce. Do your research.. invest in the coin that meets that criteria. Don’t go after the advice of an investor who is sitting on a bag waiting for you to buy up the price before they dump.

One of the important criteria when choosing an investment object is the evaluation of the attachment of the crypto currency to the project itself. Developers should clearly explain the relationship of their project and the new coin to the market. It does not have much time to understand, it's usually clear at once, even for a beginner. The answers to these questions should be obtained: what functions are available on the new project? why would people use it? Is it really necessary to introduce crypto currency? from a financial point of view, the idea is promising?

I attach great importance to the development team of the project, they are experienced and successful will build better project. Besides, there is also practical application of ICO. If the project does not have an application, it can not be successful
