Compared to last year ending, I would say this year would be better, in as much as the bear market is on, the developers have learnt that people don't dive into any ICO they see due to the happenings of last year ending. Most developers with good product or use case and a good team back up would do well, reason being that investors have learn't not to just buy into any ICO but do some investigation before buying. So the system is automatically removing those scam developers and sanitising the crypto space.
ICO's are not doing so good right now. A lot of people got tired and less hype has been going on. I wish I am wrong but ICO's are slowly dying right now. Many potential investors have been very cautious and they aren't interested with ICO's anymore.
The cryptocurrency of this year, what i think is the condition might be just like what it is now where all the altcoins price keep on fluctuating so much that makes it hard to use the altcoins for a long term investment. Maybe next year would be different.
I see that I have experienced a lot of downturn now and what makes me even more disappointed is that the ico trend will be increasingly difficult when there is a new trend of IEO or STO that is more trusted by the community

i think so,indeed it has not fully developed because investors still do not fully trust ico.
but this is a good start to start, of course we must always be vigilant with scamers. they have not completely disappeared.
In 2019, investors and bounty hunters stopped believing in new projects and new coins. We need a project that can keep everyone safe. Investors want to see the finished product and bounty hunters want to see a quick exit to the listing on the stock exchange and the issuance of awards in full at the set time. I understand that such a model of the ICO project is a utopia but I hope for the best.
product delivery was be main problem for much ico now.they didnt prepare their projects well.they launched ico when they only have idea, and there is no developtment progress at all.so this is make investors dont trust anymore on new projects.
In my opinion, this year's ICOs are lot better than those last year. Investors have learned their lessons already by being diligent and not supporting those fake ones. This might be the reasons why those good ICOs are now visible for the investors. This might be good for us having a filtered list. ICOs this year have great potential.

I think you are doing a good job asking this questions, developers just coms down open an announcement about their ICO then doing bounty campaign but failed to deliver the right project to the community, the community wants transparency, if you go to the scam section developers that are using fake account are being red flagged.
People are not looking the ICO way that much anymore. IEO and STO are the inthing right now. Binance launchpad really set a pace with the IEO boom. Recently some reputable organizations are entering the crypto space via STO. There is a new format, IAO which is used by VELIC, a partner of ICON.

Icos this year has made a lot of sense and thought a lot of lessons
Real projects with valuable products excelled and reached softcap in icos
While the footless projects vanished at pre sale

I found it very interesting the risk in every project.. although they market is not conductive. It challenge me alot participating in more bounty campaigns makes interested in ICo.

The ICO in 2019 was very worrying, some of them were many who ended up scam but completely it was not true because I personally believe that ICO is still good to follow. we only need to take the time to research it, considering the market is bearish so I spend more time doing research before taking part of them.
This year, things won't go well for ico's. It is very difficult to catch the hype without logical and workable product. Without Hype, the success of ico is impossible. The product needs to be given importance before Ico.

My view for this year is of course ICO will be better and can provide benefits.
We are already close to second quarter but i see that ico is still the same as last year where scam and frauds are still present . not just few but lots of them
This year should be the first moment for the rise of the Crypto market.
No meyt this isnt . there are other previous years where the crypto market have pump , one example is the year 2017
Maybe I will have more to collect ICO coins. So if this year if the market returns, I recover, I am ready to sell coins.
There is no wrong in trying . you may try apply and join for a couple of ico , to see if you will be able to collect some ico coins but dont expect that most them will have a value . you gotta try to wait and hodl them . if the market recover and pumps this year , there is a good chance that those ico coins will be listed and will have a better value .
Well i believe that ico always depend on the market status. I see that the market is slowly recovering maybe this year is the great year for ico, because I'd the market recover ico will maybe reach thier hard cap because the value of the coin is really thatvis use to purchase token will rise and it is easy for the ICO to collect funds for the project. So I believe that ICO this year will be great.
I can't say anything for the ICO projects this year because not most of them have finished fund raising to determine its success. But let's just hope that there is something good coming out of them.
