For me, it is better to cash out little by little and not very abruptly encashing everything lest you might regret it. Just cash out only when you need it.
By plan i mean when do you plan to cash out. Is it when you have made enough to buy a car, a house maybe? or are you setting your sights higher?

I'm keeping XXXXX as a trading roll and usually twice a month I'm taking out my profits /if any

everyone wants the same thing as what you want. but it's not easy, there's a lot you have to go through to achieve what you want. you should live your life with the knowledge and experience, so that you have the capacity and quality are quite appreciated
Cryptocurrency is one of my long life term investment if ever i will cash out i will still invest and left the majority of it. Because i believe in these technology and benefits that crypto is giving us. I am happy seeing my friends how crypto help them and i am meeting lots of friends as well because of crypto.
I will still hold on my under valued altcoins today because I'm sure that I will gonna be able to have profits from this altcoins in this months to come when this altcoins will start increasing its market values. I don't really want to regret that I will be selling this low value altcoins that I have today so I think that I will just wait for the right time to come when its market value will be more comfortable for me.
I guess my plans are kind of the same than anyone here, MAKE MONEY, bad fully, I'm not so good about it 
I'm planning to invest in different altcoins while they are still under valued this days or I will never had the chance in investing to them again because I am sure that these low valued altcoins today will surely increase its market value this coming weeks or this coming months to come. So when the time comes when this under valued altcoin today will increase its market value then I'm sure that I will be able to buy a new car from it.
I'm very similar to you MrSkint. I'd like to earn enough from Cryptocurrency to take out a mortgage in an apartment in the city and to no longer need to do undertake conventional work (would much prefer to learn more about crypto & do potential high value tasks such as entrepreneurship). My hope is to achieve this goal by the end of 2018 which is probably very ambitious!

Looks like everyone doesn't really have a plan then, judging from the responses here. Planning requires planning,,, and that is not coming up with ideas over coffee, that is sitting down, setting objectives for yourself and your dependents, setting time frames, knowing your budget and making realistic expectations. Crypto is making everybody so unrealistic. You go to a decent financial advisor or investment expert and realistic is talking about years, and talking about single number percentage of appreciation. Crypto is talking x2 in 2 months, x50 in one year.
My plan is save all my earning in the crypto for my future , I will use to invest in business to buy a house and to help other if the needed. but my plan today is to earn for my daily needs and to save.

My plan now is to set my future, there is still time for me to do so... but if there's emergency, I can sell some of my my coins at least to settled the case. But I'll never sells all because I believe in this Cryptos future.
Well my plan with all of my altcoins is to hold it until i satisfied with the value of it, right now i am holding some ethereum, ripple and litecoin and i am just holding it until the value of it is we will be really high and my other plan is to save more money so i can buy more altcoins.
I won't a buy car to my husband and save to the bank for the future of my daughter.
My plan is to get more ETH by trading and investing ICOs. When the 20 percent of my ETH holdings is enough for me to retire, I will cash out that 20 percent of my holding. And I will continue to be an investor in the crypto-world. I will only fund the projects I truly like and I will not invest in bad projects with flipping potential anymore. In this way, I will be able to use my money to facilitate a better world in my viewpoint.
I hope your plan goes well, because I also have some Ethereum for my long-term plans. I will also look for some projects with high prospects related to health and technology, I wish I could Hold the results for my future interests

I'm cashing out often because I don't want to risk it to the last level. I know I might be missing a huge potential profit but who knows what the value of these coins in the future or the way the authorities would treat these coins.
Greedy can kill your profit if the price going down but if the price goes then dont be regret. early selling can kill your profit too if the price goes up but at least we keep our profit then we dont loss it if the price going down.
I think this will make people think how difficult is holding bitcoin and altcoin. But i think not greedy is the answer. Cash out everytime you get profi

actually my plan is sell all my alt coin at the end of this month becouse btc will be increase immediately on february and all altcoins will fall down immadiately. i will buy all my alt coins lower price than in my opinion btc price will see 30 k dollars. we will all be rich just we need patient.
