I have noticed that there two kinds of persons in poker gambling (when it refers to profits)

1._ The hit and run ones
2._ The ones who uses the money earned on previous bets to hunt for a bigger reward

What's your kind?

I think that I'm the hit and run type if I make more profit in one round that I have lost in the previous rounds, I will be ready to leave the game, I might stay for another or two rounds, just to see if I'm in luck, but I like to leave the game while I'm still in profit.
I am not really good at poker but you know I can be if I try hard and a lot. This is something that gets better and better with the passage of time. You need to explore about the area and maybe play more often to understand how things work.  I rather love to gamble at sports but Poker is one of the best ways to make millions if you are passionate about it.

Poker do require some real experience and knowledge to play and I do prefer it over dice / Wheels games. Infact, dice games can be played and won by kids too but in order to win a poker game, you need to have some basic  understanding of the game. The more you understand poker, the better you will be able to play and win.

Since im a a gambler who gamble with just entertainement, whenever i go to gambling sites, id rather wait to lose all of my gambling capital, or wait until the right time to go home whether having a pocket full of money or none. Maybe if i win a large jackpot on bets, i will go home and take the money with me.

Hit and run had been a better option since I learnt how to play it as luck does not remain stable and playing with profits is like adding 2 more sticks to the boat's sides to help sail it but that won't help if your destiny gets you to hit storm. I had many encounters where winning once and leaving proved to be a great decision over playing back more games ahead as the cards won't be in your favor all the time. Some people try to be over-smart by just adding more and more chips for no reason but to make the other party FOLD their game, but it turns out really bad for them once these people with better cards sweep off their money out of their hands.

In option number 2, using this method makes me more courageous cause it has done benefited from other sites. While the number 1 choice if I try its too easy to make a profit and if it loses it will hurt so I play most is method number 2, actually there is no connection with poker if are research like in dice games.

I'm that hit and run guy. When I play I usually fold early most of the time and wait for that one good hand where I can put more money on the line.
When I win I usually give up and take a break until I feel like playing again. It's important to know when to quit and not get too emotional.

all you mention is good poker players, why bad players are not included there, because most gamblers will only spend more money there then run because they have lost a lot. i don't play poker too often but it would be better to hit and run, because this is a good strategy in poker if you are already satisfied with the victory and the profits that have been gained

This is the first time I am hearing that there these two kind of poker player you are talking about. Do you mean players who hit and run (that is make profit in one shot) never returns to poker? If they do, then what is the difference between this one and the others who play with their profit. If someone comes back to play, he will be playing with his profit obviously. I wouldn't just make a profit and leave forever. I might come back and play more.
A sure thing to happen on most poker players or even gamblers on majority that they would just comeback to play and using up their profits once again on playing so i dont really know on how to answer such question yet
it do talks generally on gamblers situation towards their fund handling.Just to answer it out then im kind of poker player with option 2 which using up my profits for trying to get the big winnings.

This is something that gets better and better with the passage of time.
For sure field time will gain you more experience what will benefit in general so cant have enough of that. I tend to overdo when my stack is large but overall i end up as average vs the other players.

The hit and run but sometimes still gamble in other casinos and act like as a newbie on the poker table. Well, we cannot just win and go away because I know gamblers will still play some other time and do the same thing again hoping to win more. Big playing bit chances of winning, gamblers believe on this one and i know they will play for more.

The question is not really meant for poker players but i think its more of a general question for all kind gamblers ( all kind of gambling games )

As a gambler , my play style would be hit and run where i instantly cash out my funds after winning on a single game .  i dont use the money that i earn to gamble on the next session but i only use the money on more important things outside the gambling scene  .
It can be applied generally but the thing we are talking or OP been mentioning is about on Poker game so we should answer
according on whats being asked but I do agree to your point that this is plausible to be applied on general gambling means.

Answering the topic, I'm a type of poker player which is hit and run type but there are really some instances when your gambling
pulses pushes you to play even longer.  Grin

I don't usually play poker but i will share my experience in other gambling games. I'm more of a hit and run player if i hit the jackpot but if i really want to enjoy the game i'd rather bet smaller since in the first place i have the money that i already reserve just for me to enjoy the whole game.

I am involved in the both situation but my mind set is not stable and it changed everytime after me success or defeat so it based on the time and luck to change my mind set.

The hit and run term is funny though it sound negatively but it's pretty sure the wise thing. Why not just enjoy our profit tho.

You're right it sounds funny hahah but at the time of writing this thread I couldn’t find another way to name it.

For sure the hit and go type is the wise way...  but for some people it may not be so exciting.

I am a person who wins and prefer to take a step back with a victory and with the wallet in positive numbers, but I must admit that when I was younger my betting was totally the opposite "Go Big or Go Home" was my way of thinking .

Hmmm, I think I'm more of a hit and run. Whenever I win, I will just quit and save the money I have won. All these things have thought me a lesson a lot of times. Before when I was n't the hit and run type, I'd win and still continue with the play in hope that I'm going to win extra money but before I will realize what's happening I've already lost all the money I got from the first win and then I will have to play with my money which I also end up losing most of the times. So I mostly run once I hit a win, better to manage what I have got than to go seeking for more and lose all.

I am kind of player who don't even know how to play it properly. Grin

I did played few time in my life and also with friend but I am not aware of any winnings on it.

If you do not know how to play it properly, how could you even play it few time? Were you donating your money to other players only? I cant understand why did you play a game that you have no ideas about how the game works. I wonder, did you play it with real money or you did it on a poker game where no money is involved?

I did because how can I come to know if I didn't try it atleast once in my life. Its just only few times and very less money as betting amount.

I am more of a hit and run type when I play. Those who hunt for bigger rewards are probably the same people who are either take gambling too seriously or addicted to gambling.

It is true, the addict are the ones that will keep playing after making some profit until maybe they lose all. I don't play like that, if I make profit I leave, maybe I'm also the class of hit and run. Grin

Enjoy the winnings before you lose it all for going after bigger rewards  Grin
If playing with friends, just give them something like a snack so they won't feel bad from you taking away their money.
