Well I've really want to know more concerning Bitcoin, so a friend of mine introduced to join forum that here I'm going to learn more about anything that concerns Bitcoin. Then I got registered but when I got registered I wasn't that following up it but when I discovered more about forum then i keep focused on here, the sweetest part on here is that you won't only about Bitcoin but you'll know things that's going on all over the global. I wasn't the type that listens or watch News but when I joined forum I've learned more about what's going I my country now, things about the government, society, sports, currency etc. So those are things that motivateded me more on here besides the Bitcoin investment I've gotten more knowledge about it now.

I would say now I know how Bitcoin investment works, more than then that I don't know anything much about it.

I've searched Google about how to invest on Bitcoin there answers was nice but you can't compare it to forum, forum have the ability to show you everything about Bitcoin and it has also helped so many people paying them often. What I love most about forum it's about their updates when the Bitcoin bull run hit higher.

My story is quite simple, I had already been hearing about crypto currency for a while and was eager to know more about it especially more about investing in bitcoin cause after the last bull run and when bitcoin hit 67k many persons from my area had gotten a lot of profit from it and that was my main trigger.

I got into research about it and wanted to know more about bitcoin and specifically how to invest in it, I stumbled into this forum from a search to made that took me here and I saw a lot of other post relating to bitcoin, I created an account and logged it and so it was. I was later introduced to Binance and made my first bitcoin purchase but never had to move it cause little did I know what centralized exchange was not to be trusted, I wasn't able to hold bitcoin and later sold cause I felt the price was too high for me to continue. But after I started following up on the forum I learnt a lot about bitcoin and am still learning. Grin Grin Grin Shocked Roll Eyes

I joined the Bitcointalk forum primarily to discuss, learn about, and participate in bounty campaign etc.
Participating in bounty programs is the reason for the majority (around 75%) of people who register accounts on this forum, but as time goes by, finding a bounty program that pays well is very difficult, which makes many members leave.  i myself initially joined this forum to bounty goal but in the end that changed because my insight into bitcoin and altcoins has increased since joining this forum.

To be honest I usually come to bitcoin forums mainly for earning purposes. I have heard in the past that there are many ways to make money from bitcoin forums. I mainly joined bitcoin forums to pay for my family and my institutional education. But apart from making money bitcoin forum there are constantly updated millions of new knowledge. It is also compared to a type of news paper.

Well just like you said everybody have their reasons why they joined this forum and the reason why someone joined this forum shouldn't be anyonecase or shouldn't be anyone concern but the most important thing is getting that thing which brought you here. You said that some people joined the forum because of signature campaign which is something I can't say it's a truth or not. I believe that if someone join this forum for any reason that is outside what this forum is meant for the person will not find it funny any longer and that can result to so many things that I can't really tell for now.

I want to announce to you that if you are only here because you want to make quick money, then you may mostly likely not make the money and here will be so boring to you because you will reveal that tendency and the OGs will notice you.
Some of the older people can share their experience as regards to how they started, maybe we all can learn somethings too.
I first heard about bitcoin forums from my friend. I developed a lot of love and passion for bitcoin forums after hearing from my friend. Ever since I heard how passion worked I always thought I would work here and someday make some money and fulfill my hopes. I created an account on bitcoin forum and tried to learn there slowly so I built up a good position fairly quickly. I was able to fulfill my expectations fairly quickly by creating a good position here. Now I am able to earn here regularly all my incredible ideas have changed and I am earning from here and I am supporting my family along with my life.

I believe a lot of us here join the forum because of profits, and I'm not an exception to it. I came from a poor family so my main goal is to learn bitcoin and all its opportunities to earn so I can achieve my goals and aspirations in life successfully. And to be honest, now that I have known the forum deeply, I'm not only hunger with profits but also the knowledge and skills that I think will mold me to become successful in the future.
Not exception some user join with Bitcointalk forum to earn profitable trough participating in signature service, altcoin campaign until success becoming translator some project. But slowly after achievement with earned money have another motivate for joining this forum how active interaction with the other user actually when discussing about Bitcoin price until how to give guide or motivate for new comer in this forum. I like have been here and enjoy when many discussing are interested actually when getting difference opinion each other use when exploring their opinion not only about bitcoin price discussion until interested debate when discussing in football topic. I got more knowledge after joining with Bitcointalk forum and easily for detecting with new project scamming or not actually very worth when popular with ICO project investment.

I came to know about bitcoin from my student life and started thinking about cryptocurrency since then. When I saw the past bitcoins at the gate, I gained confidence in bitcoin and became very interested in investing here. But at that time I didn't have any money to invest so was not able to invest but later when I connected with this bitcointalk forum it just got me hooked on bitcoin investing. Also I have joined this forum for various other reasons and have learned a lot from here which has specially helped me to change my life somewhat. Anyway it's not possible to mention everything as I know all the positives of Bitcoin and its future is good and bright that's why I joined this forum for Bitcoin. After joining this forum I got to know a lot about scams and how to stay safe from it, and how I get paid from here which really benefited and motivated me.

Hope everyone can be honest about their goals and not be too hypocritical. I started finding this forum because the keyword I entered was about how to make money and finally found Bitcoin and then found this beloved forum.
In the beginning, I just wanted to make money. Somehow I should be able to earn a few dollars. Reading and researching this forum, it turns out there are lots of giveaways available and lots of airdrops and bounties. Bounties with new projects really provide quite a lot of results for me, especially as there are lots of airdrops that are scattered around and increase my income. It's quite easy to earn $10-$100 in BTC or ETH and I was able to collect up to dozens of Bitcoins in 2016. But it turns out the goal is not just for short-term profits, seeing how cryptocurrency is developing I started building investments for the long term and carrying out asset management that I already have. get it.
Many people are dishonest because they are afraid of others knowing their main motive for joining. Mostly because they want to make money online - but obviously that's never prohibited on this forum. If they only focus on making money without planning to develop their knowledge – then they will not get real benefits in the long term.

Knowledge is never limited - but ways to make money are constantly changing. It used to be that bounties could make you rich and could make you earn dozens of ETH or bitcoins - but now it's not the same. Without knowledge, of course you will have difficulty getting the opportunity to join and become one of the participants in a long-term campaign like now.

If I should be honest, I should say that I’m here in the first place to make decent amount of profits. But I’m not seeing it as quick profits but more on from hard work of mine that may possibly create a positive outcome. That is why I’m really into diligent studying and absorbing all those relevant information that will help me with my future endeavor with bitcoin and other crypto coins that have potentials.

Why ban the bounty board? The problem is not that this board exists, the problem is that beginners do not allocate their steps correctly. The correct step is to first learn the basics of cryptocurrencies, then try to make money. I'm sure most bounty participants have little to no specialized knowledge and all their skills are mostly centered on smarts, registration and copypasting. Nowadays you don't even need to copypaste, you just need to register with some AI bot and it will generate all sorts of content for the bounty itself, starting from articles and ending with various pictures.

The very fact that such a board exists allows some people to become members of this forum because someone put the bug in their ear that this is a place where you can make money. Furthermore, it is no secret that most of these bounty campaigns promote very questionable (not to mention scam projects) and that all those who you claim have no experience and knowledge are actually naive victims who are left at the mercy of those who exploit them without stopping .

This is all an echo of 2017 and 2018, when there was a bounty hype. To this day, some users consider bounty to be synonymous with making money, and the forum is the only place where this outdated form of new token promotion still thrives.

If we are already talking about bans being bad, then those who run such campaigns should have been at least forced not to accept beginners and Jr. members, so every member would learn something until he becomes Member rank.

If we look at the bounty participants, the vast majority of users are just the very beginning ranks. If we limit their access, there will simply be no one to fill all those many slots.

I really wish I could see some truth in people's reason to have joined the forum but, I feel very few users would be bold enough to tell it but hey, who am I to judge or tell who is truthful to themselves and the rest of us.

I got one, I had some hard times haven’t tried out several aspects to having a stable income and sourcing out for what to invest in and wasn’t really getting much on my expectations. I had a job that wasn’t giving me what I want, tried forex and lots more other things that I wouldn’t want to go in detail but then, I later got introduced to the forum.
It was more about how I could make money from cryptocurrency as well as on the forum. I ideas where shallow as it was very much focused on money but, the more you get to realize from cryptocurrency and particularly bitcoin, the more you get filled with admiration for blockchain technology and decentralization.

Hope everyone can be honest about their goals and not be too hypocritical. I started finding this forum because the keyword I entered was about how to make money and finally found Bitcoin and then found this beloved forum.

I will be a hypocrite if I will not say that money is the reason why I'm here. It's money, but not money alone, but knowledge as well.

I guess I will just say that the way my friend introduced me this forum is a bit wrong because he said that this is a place where I can earn money when I register, so I registered, made an interaction here, shared some of my opinions etc.

Over time, my perception about this forum changed. From a place where I can earn money, to a place where I can learn different things to the "OG" of the forum. I'm not a fan of reading such huge paragraphs TBH, but whenever I have time, I spend it reading some threads here. Now to answer the question, at first it's money that motivated me to join the forum, but over time, knowledge motivated me to stay in this forum. How I look this forum changed throughout the years, so I'm not here for money anymore, but the knowledge. The amount of knowledge that I can get here is immense, and I guess the fact that this thread is created by Satoshi, and not just random stranger in the internet made me stay here.

For me, that system is generally bad, but it obviously suits the forum and those who make a profit out of it, and that means that everything will remain as it was. In that case, it is not fair to put all the blame on the backs of those beginners, they are only doing what they are allowed to do.

I came here with zero knowledge and wanted to learn more regarding the community, as I keep seeing there's a lot of topics I didn't know and related to because of curiosity. this brings me to another level of understanding how this works and also through help of other members I learn something and of course share at the same time that's the purpose of the community. Just part of the reward is getting paid, I guess, because those are based on your experience. The more you know, the wider the connections and knowledge you can use for your path.

Randomly stumbled upon this forum, registered account, forgot about it, that account vanished in 2015 bitcointalk hack. Then I remembered about bitcointalk again from a discord convo, and joined back in 2017. Right now, unless I have question to ask, merely bounties motivate me to stay here.

Well as much as SCs are one of the factors that kinda contributed on me staying in here, I just registered in this forum like a normal lost child around the internet. It's like those usual stuffs where you can't access the whole features of the forum since you had a question in mind while reading as a "Guest" user around here.

I wouldn't say this that it "motivated" me more like I kinda had no choice but to register since I do have a curiosity and questions in my mind that would require me in posting in the forum. Turns out into slowly browsing around the forum and learning about what each boards are for. I hadn't really read the full rules when I started since I was too busy in reading. Cheesy
Signature campaigns were undeniably a factor in staying, but similarly to you, I was also a lost teenager who suddenly discovered Bitcoin. I didn't even know I could make money from the forum until 2016 or 2017, when I rediscovered my passion for cryptocurrencies. It took me quite some time to start posting here, let alone attempt to make money from it. I was a lurker before even creating an account in 2014; I probably spent at least half a year reading and observing the forum before I signed up. I believe that being active in the cryptocurrency scene goes along with participating in this forum; they're correlated and an undeniably great source of news and information.

I first joined this forum in Q3 207, at that time I heard the excitement about the bounty program from one of my friends, I happened to be looking for side income from the internet, I would be lying if I said one of my goals in joining this forum was not money, and some I have managed to buy the item I dreamed of through the bounty program that continues to be held on this forum. This is a great forum, I'm sure many of the dreams of other senior members have been achieved, especially luxury goods or investments, it's almost impossible to find a forum like this.
