I want to announce to you that if you are only here because you want to make quick money, then you may mostly likely not make the money and here will be so boring to you because you will reveal that tendency and the OGs will notice you.
Some of the older people can share their experience as regards to how they started, maybe we all can learn somethings too.
Well as much as SCs are one of the factors that kinda contributed on me staying in here, I just registered in this forum like a normal lost child around the internet. It's like those usual stuffs where you can't access the whole features of the forum since you had a question in mind while reading as a "Guest" user around here.

I wouldn't say this that it "motivated" me more like I kinda had no choice but to register since I do have a curiosity and questions in my mind that would require me in posting in the forum. Turns out into slowly browsing around the forum and learning about what each boards are for. I hadn't really read the full rules when I started since I was too busy in reading. Cheesy

Why ban the bounty board? The problem is not that this board exists, the problem is that beginners do not allocate their steps correctly. The correct step is to first learn the basics of cryptocurrencies, then try to make money. I'm sure most bounty participants have little to no specialized knowledge and all their skills are mostly centered on smarts, registration and copypasting. Nowadays you don't even need to copypaste, you just need to register with some AI bot and it will generate all sorts of content for the bounty itself, starting from articles and ending with various pictures.
Sadly it just goes spirals since they would refer their "friends" in this forum and they would follow the same steps as the one who referred them did.

For the AIs, yeah it's going to be a problem and this is why I usually not take a wall of texts in here too seriously unless it is technical stuffs or the post came from somehow a reputated or well-known member in here.

I believe a lot of us here join the forum because of profits, and I'm not an exception to it. I came from a poor family so my main goal is to learn bitcoin and all its opportunities to earn so I can achieve my goals and aspirations in life successfully. And to be honest, now that I have known the forum deeply, I'm not only hunger with profits but also the knowledge and skills that I think will mold me to become successful in the future.

All the people who come here solely to make money, most often either leave unnoticed or are glorified by various abuses, by creating many alternative accounts and abusing campaigns. What benefit do such people bring to the community and to the forum? There is no benefit, only parasitization. A lot of newcomers coming to the forum, should realize at once one simple truth that the forum is not a place to earn money, no one promises here any monetary rewards for writing posts. Properly motivated newcomers always ask a lot first, and then try to share their knowledge by creating posts and threads.

However, you have to take into account that they are doing something that is allowed to them, because otherwise they would not become members of the forum at all. The administration could solve this at any time by simply banning bounty campaigns, but how much traffic would the forum lose in that case?

In addition, all these members are mostly within one board and the administration obviously does not perceive them as a problem, but as those who (although in the wrong way) bring new members to the forum. Of course, the question arises as to what is the use of such members, but some of them will sooner or later leave the bounty campaigns and become useful members of the forum.

What drew my attention to the forum was the Bitcoin-related news and discussion, and the first time I even opened the Bitcoin forum, I was only very concentrated on reading a lot of discussion in the Bitcoin discussion board, which I even later lost interest in, but I still did learn a lot of things about Bitcoin. I forgot about the forum for some months because, in the process of not visiting the site again, I forgot the URL until the day I came across i wrote it on my note. Then I had to create my account, and since then, I have also learned many things about Bitcoin, security, privacy, wallets, and many other important things relating to investment and economics.

The Btt Forum is a community that allows people to have knowledge not only about Bitcoin but generally about cryptocurrency, government, economics, gambling, alt coins, and many other general topics about finance.

I joined this forum to have a second means of income because the job that I am doing doesn;t meet up with my needs and for me to have some savings too, due to the high rate of inflation that started after the Covid-19 pandemic. I was introduced here by someone and when I saw that one can earn from signature campaign only when you get to a Full member rank, I decided to keep on reading and acquiring knowledge here in the forum so that I can rank up to Full member. Where I am staying currently, we are expecting flood any moment from now and during the flood period, all companies and many institutions will be shut down, likewise my place of work. It will be from this forum that i will use to keep myself busy and earn from during this disaster time, because where i work, you don't get paid, if you don't come to work.

People have different reasons why they join this forum some other want to have quick profit scheme since mostly ICO's where famous before and other investment schemes are mostly posted here so majority is here to gather that information to not get outdated on the latest. That's what I also following and second priority is to gain something from several activities which is posted always on some threads in this forum. Some may don't like to stay because for them this is a boring place especially for those newbies but if they are guided well for sure they will exist for many years here just like us.

I got into bitcoin in 2015, there weren’t all that many places to chat to experienced bitcoin guys so I simply Googled & found this forum. I have to admit it’s a great source of info & you can soak up advice from more experienced users. As a newbie this place is far superior to learn than say Twitter (X) for example.

To be honest, when I first joined this forum it was initially about money, but as time went by, it seemed like there was something more valuable than money, namely the knowledge about bitcoin and crypto was very in-depth here, I couldn't stop thinking, why didn't I join in the first place? in this forum, although I still participate in several bounties to make money. but I enjoy reading here.

Indeed, defining your purpose most often helps a lot in one's growth process, as there is a need to do that and there is also a need for people to know why you are truly in the place that you find yourself. Making money is not a bad thing, but also gaining knowledge about why you do it is something I find interesting and believe is among the few things that make people come in here.

Most people might believe that signature campaign earnings are one thing that makes a lot of people create many accounts on the forum and try to make money using all those accounts, but after visiting the bounty section a few times and checking through numerous reports for account cheating and all of that, I believe most people are not here for signature earning but they are here to earn some altcoins, which they can add to their portfolio or sell off and increase their livelihood. As I believe most hunters are not even aware of the service section, their main focus is altcoin discussion.

I want to announce to you that if you are only here because you want to make quick money, then you may mostly likely not make the money and here will be so boring to you because you will reveal that tendency and the OGs will notice you.
Some of the older people can share their experience as regards to how they started, maybe we all can learn somethings too.

Having the intention of coming here to make money might not sound so good to the ear, but even with such an intention and the OGs noticing that’s your primary motive for being here, this has nothing to do with how the forum will treat you; you can be here to make money and still have a pure heart. The only place I find that most people don't take it easy on others is when they come here with the intention of making money and they have a devious way of doing things, trying to outsmart everyone on the forum with either their lies or cheating. That's where I believe most people's problems start.

I have decided to join the forum before bitcoin has been hyped in the social media. So I was probably hunger for bitcoin knowledge, and not on the profits that comes with it. It's only as this moment that people come into bitcointalk due to their greed about bitcoin as a get quick rich thing. And just like you said OP, once your goal is driven with pressure and greed to make profits, it's either you'll never be in profits for real or you will never be satisfied with your acquired bitcoin knowledge.

I joined the forum for the sake and quest for Bitcoin information and knowledge, at first i never knew that i could also take part in some activities like signature and campaign, because when I located the forum was through a search, all I was looking for was information on how to set bitcoin up as a payment in my business back then.
So basically I am gradually reaching my goals in terms of educational knowledge and ideas, as regarding Bitcoin, and I am sharing such information to keep growing.

some people do not have any kind of motivation that make them to join the forum. They were just browsing the internet and came across the forum.
Some people were also invited by friends to come to the forum and learn about Bitcoin. And this set of people are not also motivated by anything.
Some people joined the forum because they had technical issues in Bitcoin and they were looking for solution and landed in the forum.
Some were looking for cryptocurrency gambling platforms and landed here.. This set of people can be said to be motivated by gambling.

The main reason I came here was to learn how to manage my Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. I started earning them from my work as a product designer and web developer because a client started paying me in Bitcoin and USDT instead of my local currency. So, I needed to figure out how to handle and grow my Bitcoin. That's when I discovered that I could offer my services here and find more clients who would pay me in cryptocurrency.

Being part of the forum has taught me a lot more than I expected. Conversations with knowledgeable members, like JJG and others, have helped me make better use of my Bitcoin holdings. Also, discussions with you, Odohu, have been engaging and interesting, leading to valuable topics in this community.

Well, several things did....
But I'll say this - the most important thing was getting to know what this whole cryptography was all about... I teach in a school where students are open to the modern TRENDs on the internet.. been getting alot of questioning from them and , that kinda like motivated me at some point to learn myself.
When I got registered, I barely had the techs to operate the forum - at some point, the complexity was too much that I had to ask questions like a child ...lol ... Then the came a time I began to derive knowledge from in here - and I realized the differences between Bitcoin and other altcoins,... ofcourse I never knew all those stuffs...bahahahahaah

I remember, I joined this forum due to a recommendation from my close friend way back in college (2017). He told me that there was an opportunity to earn money online and at the convenience of my home. At first, I was so focused on earning money that I completely neglected the basics and fundamentals of cryptocurrencies. Funny thing is, I do not even know how to make money and what cryptocurrencies are.

Along the way, as I read various threads regarding cryptocurrency, I discovered its true gem and purpose practically. Slowly, I got accepted into various campaign signatures and that helped me and my family at least alleviated the expenses for my education.
No doubt, all user have motivated for joining this forum to earn money by joining signature campaign between altcoin campaign or service campaign, beside earn money is common motivate from all user who joining with Bitcointalk forum I think some user have other motivate from upgrade their English grammar skill until to know new update about cryptocurrency exactly with Bitcoin. Based on my post history dominance in football, I have motivate for joining in this forum because like for discussing about football although with main reason for joining in this forum how to get knowledge about cryptocurrency and one side for earning money trough signature campaign.

Bitcointalk forum related with my education right now, I found many similar between forum and my college study to make it interested for not stopping active in Bitcointalk forum.

I was a young teenager when I joined back in 2014, in an era where forums were still quite popular, and I personally loved being in a community with other people with the same interests and passions. I wasn't very active then; I was mostly lurking in the forum and reading in order to acquire more knowledge regarding Bitcoin, which was extremely limited. Faucets and this forum were my first hands-on experiences with Bitcoin. Unfortunately, I didn't persist too much back then and stopped fiddling with Bitcoin and the forum itself.

A few years later, I returned and was motivated to learn more about Bitcoin. I started being active, replying to other users and creating my own topics, and not long after that, I discovered signature campaigns. I started earning my own crypto after learning about mining, trading, and holding my income from the campaigns. Not only was I learning more about Bitcoin, but I was also earning money at the same time.

To summarize, this forum has been a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me and has provided me with great learning experiences and opportunities. It's certainly not a quick way to get rich, which is why the merit system was introduced—to stop people who didn't deserve to be put in signature campaigns and believed that they'd start earning money with no effort or contribution.
