More shitcoins and scam projects will make bitcoin lose face in the future, this is why I want something to be done about shitcoins and scammers out there, and we might see new hackings but only newbies will keep falling for such
I think that scam or crime is the nature of crypto from the past that is difficult to eliminate, if we work here that is our biggest risk if we are not careful and careful. the future of crypto no one can predict it right, so just look at what will happen in the near future.

No, it doesn't affect bitcoin much, do you think that dumb people all around affect the respect that is paid to a retired proffessor? Not by much.

What exactly do you want to be done about scammers and shitcoins? Everybody is free to reuse the publicly available code the way they want.

I have a solution for you. Just don't pay attention to the shitcoins all around you and they will magically ... disappear!

There are a whole lot of scam and shit projects entering each day and the number is bound to increase as time goes on. They are making it unsafe to invest in crypto for most especially novice and even veterans. As the crypto sphere enriches as it evolves, it will attract more of these bad guys in the coming years

the biggest challenge in my opinion has always been the large number of shitcoins that keep being created and all the scams that they are performing so that they can make more money by scamming the newcomers. this in general is making the whole market look worse.

right I agree with you that more shift coins are created. so there will be a lot of ICO fraud because now many bounty projects are scam. so you should study and analyze before deciding to invest or work in an ICO project. and also negative issues or FUD is a problem that is often faced by cryptocurrency. FUD can influence people to sell or buy cryptocurrency. if most people are affected, this will make the coin price movements change.

the problem is regulation.

I think this will be a problem, not because governments will not accept or regulate Bitcoin or other crypto currencies in the future but becausw it will lead to something that will or may end up Cryptos. With a lot of regulation, there will be a lot of transaction and I don't think crypto currencies are readt for that. Bitcoin has a problem with massive of transactiona in the past so I think this might be the problem in the future.

I think the major problem for bitcoin is the acceptance issue in different countries and the government opposition due to this the bitcoin is not flourishing at all and it is true that crypto market is rising for a good purpose once you buy bitcoin just try to make a way or trade it for the profit now people are buying different coins for future profit and most of the ICO are high in demand for the public and for investors, like crypto is the key for entering into online casino and online games.

the main problem for everyone is the entry of large investors into the market, who are currently waiting for an ETF solution

In addition to the fact that most authorities prevent the development of bitcoin, we may face the problem of low technological development of people, which also complicates the adoption of bitcoin as a currency. Absolutely not all people have smartphones, computers and not all possess basic computer skills. This means that they can not use bitcoin as a means of payment.

if a person is trully obssed to learn and to use a crypto , he will alwyas find a way to work on it .

most us ( including me ) were also came from poor families and most of us dont also have the talent or skill to learn cryptos but look at us now !  we are now using a crypto and we are now owning a high end gadgets because of the help of cryptos .

see ? for sure anyone could also do what we already did , only if they are really dedicated and passionate about thier dreams and goals in life .

I think the biggest challenges for crypto in the future would of course be adoption. Then there’s law/regulation, plus the anarchy or anti-government mindset. I think most crypto supporters are afraid of government power, correct?

In the near future, I think cryptocurrency will face lost in trust in government-backed, or fiat, currencies, a cryptocurrency future could come about by default. That may be a risk not only in places like Venezuela but also in the U.S where federal deficits are spiraling.

Specifically in the next 5 years, what do you think will be the greatest challenge or problem that the crypto market will face, and how do you think the market will overcome this problem? I also wonder if AI can help crypto trading safer and free from hacking and scamming?

I think for now it is a serious problem in the level of decline, almost a full year the market is always dominated by the red trend, so there is no need to think for the next 5 years, until now we still have no picture for recovery or stability

If it will became the universal currency in next 5 years then we should have a fast internet connection, a lot of power supply so that we will not have a power shortage, but when it comes to a project then many scam project will be born because they will use advantage when the investor are newbie, then make sure you have strong security on your wallet so that you will not hack.

I think that over time the number of scams will be more and more and this will be the main problem of crypto. People will be afraid to invest and it will be necessary to solve this problem. To spread the crypto to the masses, we need to show that it is safe.

AI will indeed be one that helps alleviate humans but I feel it won't help cryptocurrencies in the face of the problems that will occur. the problem that I think will soon be faced by cryptocurrencies in the future is Fake news or hoax, we will see how people who hate Bitcoin, attack Bitcoin with false news, to destroy cryptocurrencies for various reasons.

Cartels - miners, exchanges, major holders.

If we think somewhere like Bitmain is a problem, that's chicken feed compared to the amount of money and power washing around a few years down the line.

Now it could be said that the more big bucks are involved the more invested they are in the status quo, but that didn't stop somewhere like Bitmain trying to fuck the whole thing up. Times that by 50 and it could make for an ugly scene.

You could also argue that the bigger it is the harder it'll be for collusion to happen, but the bigger the bucks the smaller the number of super deep pockets there'll be at the top. Power is already way too concentrated in too few hands in multiple areas. It's going to be a struggle to improve that.

What I'm worried about the development of crypto in the next five years is probably the appearance of too many altcoin. I think this is not good for the market when  the altcoin does not get the attention of investors and the price goes down, you will see the market is red and this makes the investor afraid.

The problem cryptos will face in the future is that there's a great coin in the market called AML BitCoin. AML BitCoin rests on a privately regulated public blockchain that facilitates AML-KYC compliance and identifies criminals associated with illicit transactions while maintaining and strengthening the privacy protections for legitimate users.

There's also discussion about the inability of financial institutions  adopt the blockchain technology, which is an issue with the financial not the technology.

But what is interesting is there are addition and bigger problem specifically with regards to bitcoin.

Bitcoin has a limited number of "coins" that amount to 21 million btcs when all the coins are mined by the 2140.It likely that way before then, Bitcoin mining with not be profitable due to the high energy cost and expensive hardware needed for mining. The bitcoin transaction fees will not be sufficient to keep the network going either. There are many theories in term what might happen when mining stops, but the likely scenario could be bitcoin will not have the computing power needed to assure transanction, grinding the network to a halt.

The question is, what will happen to the value of bitcoin?
