What are your biggest fear in crypto?
As for me, it's losing my private keys by accident. I know that the risk is minimal, but the thought of it makes me anxious from time to time. Also, I'm afraid that BTC dumps during the transaction.

Waking up one morning and knowing that the whole cryptocurrency market went down to nothing?
Or maybe finding out that all your crypto (or your private keys) was stolen or lost somehow?

By the way, Happy Halloween!
Every one of us here are afraid of losing their private keys, especially if all your precious coins are on that private key, the market can crash down and go up but when you lose your private key you lose everything, so it's important that to not put all your coins in one wallet break it down, to at least 5 wallets and hid each one of them separated from each one, it's like not putting all your eggs in one basket.

Theres nothing even more worst on losing up your coins specially if you do had millions of dollars inside it for sure you would commit suicide if those
amounts would be lost into thin air. This is why keeping our PK is always important, be careless then your coins is good as gone.

About sudden market plummets its price? Its hard to believe yet blockchain tech will surely be the next mainstream as years goes by.

maybe that is because you have invested more money that you can afford to lose. psychologically speaking people are more scared when they are taking bigger risks. that is why when it comes to investment they always say "invest what you can afford to lose".
so maybe it is time for you to rethink the amount you have put in.

Common mistakes that new people in cryptocurrency world is they are letting the good news too much in their head (getting too much excited) giving themselves false hope. Psychologically speaking also, this makes them too full of themselves, and the outcome of their actions (investing too much), then suddenly the joy that they've felt in the beginning turned into sorrow, because just like what you have said, they lose the money they can't afford to lose.

What I fear the most here in crypro honestly is death. I am really scared of seeing all of my earnings go to nothing as I go to the deepest sleep a person can ever have. I don't want my hardwork and sleepless nights go to waste. I am also scared of seeing the value of the coin I am currently investing decrease even more, I just want a better profit and at the same time, secure my future. I hope none of these things would ever happen to me or else I would definitely become messed up.

I think that crypto users are usually afraid to lose their coins by cyber attack or losing private keys and the second fear is huge price dump.
From the first fear we can protect ourselves with different security measures, at least when our wallets are in question and the solution for the second is to diversify investments.

We may afraid to lose our money by way of investing and when someone hacked your email or your coins/tokens , but we still have all the chance to earn it, but if the crypto industry will be gone, that is the worst one, as we can no longer have the chance to earn thru it. We can never earn what we have lost. It will be a greatest failure for all people.

What scares me the most is that the market will die permanently, it is impossible to happen but we are all scared about that since we are earning here, I am thankful to know this forum because I am earning money using my own knowledge by joining some campaign or bounties in which I am promoting particular project I have joined in, wherein the payment depends on the rank, also by promoting the particular project I must obey the rules of the forum from avoiding being banned. Because if I am being banned I can't earn money anymore because I only have one and only account. I am also scared of project that is scamming, so to prevent that happening I am reading their whitepaper for me to have basic knowledge about their project, I am joining based on their platform and target if they can really reach their target or not.

The scarriest thing that happen to me few years ago, I open my ethereum wallet using private keys, and Im really shocked seeing my wallet is empty. My wallet got hacked and the saddest part is the coin in my ethereum wallet is worth 1000$+.

If this will happen to me, I will blame myself, but only for a short period of time. Since the reason why it became hacked is not 100 percent caused by the platform, but by the human error. I believe that we do really commit mistakes. And what is the scariest part about it is not being hacked but not learning a lesson from the passed that we already been experience. In all of our actions there are lesson for us to carry.

I blame myself til now, my mistakes is i'm lazy securing my wallet and I thought it is secured website. But that incident happen and I already learned my lesson, I hope i can earn that much money again.
I'm sorry for your bad experience, but have you been able to find how the hacker stole your key/funds? Did he phish you with a fake page on the net?

We all have different fears in crypto. Some are scared to be scammed and have all the money they worked hard for be stolen easily by someone. Some are scared to see the market going down continuously amidst hoping for a better value with their investment. Some are scared to take a risk and invest bigtime fearing that it may just lead to a massive loss. We should know how to handle our fears or else we wouldn't be able to make a change in our investments and tradings.

When you take risk beyond your limits you fear about it. There is nothing to fear when you're good with a job to meet your needs and make your living with happiness. If the holding is all that you have for your entire life then it is fearful. Such incidents same as that's been portrayed on the image won't happen often. If happens very rarely.

The biggest fear here is when you lost your bitcoin  Grin bitcoin dumps are just okay at least you still have your bitcoin and still you could hope that bitcoin will pump in the coming years again just like what happened today so I guess. Losing your private wallet was completely disappointing you might want to quit if that happened but having a big amount of bitcoin for sure we have a lot of backup passwords for that kind of money in your wallet. Maybe if the may wallet was the problem sometimes the wallet you are using might don't have a good support team that you could talk to.
Indeed , when you lose that bitcoin you have been worked for everyday. I dont want to lose any of it, so that I do trade little amount of my money because I do not have such so that whether I will have a gain in day trade or not, I will not lose all of my money. Im afraid to lose every single penny.

Let me tell you what scares me the most. Around a couple of years ago Indian government decided to detach banks from having any contact with Cryptocurrencies exchanges. That news gave signs that soon India could possibly ban Cryptocurrencies. This still is my biggest fear. Some people would say that you don't need to worry because btc is still unstoppable but being a law abiding citizen i really don't want to be involved in something expressly said illegal by our country. Moreover what would happen to my savings stored in crypto and how would i redeem them? I think this is a scary thing.

investors and other traders do have fears about losing their assets when stored in hacked wallets but that is what is called risk because storing their assets does not have high security so as to make assets disappear like that, for solutions like this it must strengthen security because if the wallet is lost it will not be able to reverse.

in my opinion there are some fears that are usually felt by crypto holders.
1. some of us would be afraid if we lose our private key or forget the password.
This is something not to be afraid of, first of, you better secure and have more than one copy of your private keys.

2. afraid that the coins we choose are not potential coins.
Doing research won't give you this kind of mindset. You should know to yourself what coin is good to invest.
3. afraid when bitcoin continues to decline and can not rise again.
If you know that cryptocurrency is volatile, you should know that the decline in price of bitcoin is normal, volatility drives its price to become unstable.

if I'm afraid that if my country suddenly bans cryptocurrency and in the end we can't access our portfolio. but I hope that all those bad things never happen.

You mean your wallet, right? Not your portfolio.
__________
What scares me most is when I bought tokens that isn't on the dump level like it keeps on dumping every time I check it, feels like I'm totally rekt.
And also, when my funds are majority in altcoins and you see bitcoin is starting a ride. It sweat out my nerves.

What are your biggest fear in crypto?
My biggest fear in crypto is lossing all of my holdings or the dumping of the price of my both bitcoins and altcoins because it will result for me to a big losses that's why I am afraid of this kind of happenings if it's come. One thing I am afraid for, is the system down of the crypto community as well as the whole blockchain technology because if this happens then probably it will be a hard time for us and a hard lost.
