As for me, I am worried when the time that manipulation from the world government will come, no one can tell what will happen to its price.
There may be a positive and negative side to it, but who knows what will really happen.

What are your biggest fear in crypto?
As for me, it's losing my private keys by accident. I know that the risk is minimal, but the thought of it makes me anxious from time to time. Also, I'm afraid that BTC dumps during the transaction.

Waking up one morning and knowing that the whole cryptocurrency market went down to nothing?
Or maybe finding out that all your crypto (or your private keys) was stolen or lost somehow?

By the way, Happy Halloween!
I fear losing all my private keys, passphrase and other private info with regards in crypto. I am afraid that maybe someone could hack my account and stole all my hard-earned money as well. So basically, I am afraid of losing my savings because this is all I had, this is where my income came from, I have no job and I'm just relying in crypto. That is why I keep my private keys in safe place and I am the only one who have access on it.
Well, that's an individual fault or mistake.
Being responsible will avoid you from losing your private keys. Storing it to a hardware wallet will give you assurance and saving private keys to your google drive or one drive might help you to lose it.

Waking up that the whole market went down to nothing is likely not going to happen at this point in time, but on losing your private keys that could possibly happen if you are not taking care of it, three things will scare me the most getting my email hacked and my account here in Bitcointalk hacked and of of course all my wallet private keys have gone, any one of this will cause anxiety to me.

do you want to know what's scarier? In my case, the scariest thing would be for my country's central bank to follow in the footsteps of India and China, and the government and parliament do not object. Unfortunately, many of these politicians are people who lived their childhood at a time when there was no breakthrough in technology and they do not accept to adapt to the new times. In my country, for example, politicians have serious perception problems when it comes to technology. , it makes me afraid

As a person who has lost a private key before (for a wallet that had a considerable) amount of Bitcoin in it, the only fear I have left right now is being involved in a pump & dump action. It's something really annoying and tough to get out of. I would not like to see anything like what happened to EOS and Bitcoin Cash back in the days.

Lesson learned bro. Just save your private key always in online because at least it won't be gone unless there's a hacker who want to get your private key.

In my own personal opinion, my biggest fear in cryptocurrency is when bitcoin and other altcoins that i hold will lose it's value because all of my hardwork and money will disappear in an instant. Honestly, hacking could easily be prevented by everyone, as long you stay invisible or hidden to everyone that you avoid things that can lead you to hacking, that is why i don't fear hacking.

Biggest fear on crypto and any online stuff we do is hacking. Hacking is preventable but may still happen even though you protect and care for your stuffs online. The internet is vulnerable to this kind of things so maybe thats my number one fear. Second is the risk of bitcoin network collapsing, a big catasthrope that lets say somewhat possible to happen in no time.

I think that the fear of malware and hackers is maybe the worse... I had fear about the exchanges, but now I just don't keep anything there, since cryptobridge scam...
Loosing access to wallets is also a scary thing...
are you planning a crypto horror movie and gathering ideas?

what scared me the most was when the coin I selected was dumped and couldn't pump anymore. I lost quite a lot earlier this year because I chose the wrong coin. from this experience now I prefer to choose the top 20 coins because it is guaranteed safe and impossible to crash because it has long survived in the crypto market and has a large trading volume.
sometimes I am also afraid of losing a private key like you but then feel calmer when copying on a piece of paper and keep it in a safe place. so if one day my computer has a problem I can rely on the paper.

Only one word: hacker.
That's what I fear the most. No matter how good I apply security, my wallet can be hacked. Be careful, they always find loopholes in weakness. Losing because of being stolen is more painful than losing due to misses analysis. Hopefully, this bad experience does not happen again and does not happen to you all.

Well, the topic that suits Halloween very well. Many scary "fears" haunt.
Indeed, its one of the most painful thing that had happened to some of us losing our funds and assets because of hackers and scammers. Like all of your hard work, time and effort are wasted for nothing. If that happens to me, I don't know what will happen next because I usually panic over things that is why I tend to do some research before engaging with different people because you can't easily tell their true intentions. If you have experienced it then let it be the reason why you should be careful next time, turn it into a lesson so you can avoid doing the same mistake.

What scares me? Well aside from losing my private keys or when my email hacked and my PC is broken, I scare most is  when Bitcoin collapse or will be gone forever. Because although my email is hacked I still have the chance to earn knowing that Bitcoin still there, but if BTC is gone it will be end of our journey .

that scares me a lot, losing private key is scary as well losing the smartphone that contains Google Authenticator 2FA,
both of which have never been backed up before. make so hard to recover it.
because cryptocurrency is self responsibility, loss of private key, 2FA code and wrong wallet address receiver when do a transaction
becomes a nightmare of its users.

Nothing scares me like losing my mnemonic phrase required to open my wallet. This makes me troubled sometimes. However, I've backed it up in about 3 different places.

Losing private key is not a scariest thing for me because it is preventable therefore as long as you make them safe from being stolen and keep them safe then there will be no problem. What makes me scared if i lost my investments again like in 2017 in which i invested big but lost everything because i missed the opportunity to sell high when the price is sky rocketing. Hopefully it will never again in this very unpredictable market.

The most thing that I am afraid of is when I see all of my bitcoin and altcoin is at the downtrend because, at that moment, I cannot see a chance to get a profit. I don't use big money to invest in crypto, but I am worried to see the bad thing happen, and I think that it is reasonable to be afraid if we are in those situations because some of us are not ready to see that.

Even though I don't use big money to invest, still, I need to hold my emotion and not to panic if the market fell because I know that the market will always fluctuate and will like that from time to time. I need to realize that it will be my risk, and I should accept the risk of investing in cryptocurrency.

What I'm afraid of is losing again my hard-earned money because of hackers, phishing and many more who are waiting for the chance to steal my money.

I have experienced such an event, losing my bitcoin wage in a five-month campaign as a bounty hunters.

The thing that scares me is when all the people in the world have lost faith in Bitcoin. You must know what will happen if Bitcoin loses confidence! Not only will the value be 0, but this forum will no longer be active.

I am not afraid at all, I think every investment and trading is involved in some sort of risk so it's a natural process that cryptocurrency and Bitcoin contain have some. but the most concerning issue for me is the market volatility, It's really alarming for me because the price of cryptocurrency doesn't have any positive movement, it's totally dependent on the price of Bitcoin, still, Bitcoin is the highest and largest coin in every aspect, so cryptocurrency requires a move to push Bitcoin aside, but it's not an easy way for doing this, so cryptocurrency needs a lot of time to make anything different thing.

The thing that scares me most is to wake up one and day exchanges do not accept BTC conversion to fiat and merchants in the whole word do not want BTC as mode of payment in their shop.  I can bare with private key losses because I do not hold that much of BTC but waking up one day knowing that I cannot convert or use it to buy stuff and pay my bill.
