$10000 is not a big deal for buying cryptos, the best thing that you can do is just to diversify that amount between 5 or 6 altcoins, like ethereum, ripple, iota, elixir, and bitcoin. And just speculate with that, wait for a few months and see if you can sell at least at a x2 - x3 of that.
With the money you have, you can buy Eth, Ripple, Litecoin, NEO, ADA, etc. You can choose some of the coins I have mentioned. The coins have good quality and growth. Not only in crypto, but in any market the price will surely fall and wake up. Nobody stands upright in one place without moving. Eth, in my opinion, a very bona fide investment place, you will benefit greatly here. You just need patience in waiting.
I suggest to you always diversifying your funds in 2-3 coins, never depends on a single coin. Ethereum is good option but i suggest to you also buy some Neo. Neo looking very promising and Neo is also working on block-chain technology if you invest in both Neo and ethereum then they can gives you more profit by the end of this year. Invest your funds equally in both coins for diversification in my opinion it is better option to you.

Buying ethereum for investment is a wise choice, but it is only 50% of the money you have. The rest you can use it to buy or invest 25% Bitcoin and 25% more for other altcoin.

you can share your money to buy bitcoin and some altcoin. if may I suggest. 25% money you make buy bitcoin. 25% again create buy ethereum. the remaining 25% again create buy the coin of your choice own, and 25% again leave in the form of money. create keep in case when the price down, so that you do not losing all your money.
Everything you see on coin marketcap is a good buy. You don't need to force yourself to buy a single coin. All you need to do is research deeper, but I have my own holdings, Vechain,Ada,Iota,Etc,Eth,Utrust and Dent.

Ethereum and eos, and maybe litecoin and bitcoin, but that is subjetive. I think that diversifying that money in more than 3 coins is almost useless, he is not gonna be able to earn a lot of money if that coin makes a 5%.

1. 50% BTB return is confirmed and investment is safe and hold it.
2. 30% ETH very high profile Altcoin and hold it for long time.
