If that happens to me, I will trade scalping because this is the fastest way to recover my losses, but I don't recommend this for people who have large money to trade scalping because the risk of buying or selling is not taken by the market.
how much is the remaining capital? in my opinion for your recovery loss that is by dividing your capital to buy altcoin major because of the risk of experiencing a small loss, if buying altcoin major if the altcoin party has already started altcoin major will first price up as coins ADA, XRP, XLM, BAT, ETH and etc
Sorry for your losses, presently the market is really bearish but for you to succeed you need to keep pushing, if you are holding good coins, I think you shouldn't sell, just keep holding, also if you have spare money, seize the opportunity to buy some good coins now, the value is really at the bottom, it could help you recover when the market starts recovering.
Still not too late for every loss that we are encountering, every loss we had should be our awakening that we should pursue more, that we should study more about what we are doing, so for me, just keep moving forward, unless you quit your battle ended, but if you keep moving, you can still more and you will not mind what you have lost anymore.

It is very difficult to cover losses when day trading as the market can change directions at any time without you been aware. Just see how the dip occurred in the last few days.
You can try setting alerts to trigger stop loss so you won't lose too much when the dip sets in

Not to be rude or anything, but it looks like everything you've been saying was canya coin. Your intention is clear as day. It's not really how you cover your losses, more like you're always advertising your CanyaCoin here and there and how to make more people to buy that altcoin.

Closing losses may take a long time and I personally would prefer to invest into potential coins or top 10 coins to at least play it safe and not be too greedy in making a profit. the solution to cover the losses then I went back to buying and selling potential altcoins ... even though I was unable to return the losses by 100% but could return 50-70% of the assets that I had ... and this I had experienced a few weeks ago ... and you must more time to buy and sell instans ... and this is the way I often do ..

in my opinion, investing in bitcoin or other popular altcoin is the best option right now
for bitcoin the potential of price increase is high because of incoming halving and every time the price of bitcoin rise the next is the altcoin season.

yes greedy will make us suffer huge losses. it's better to make a small profit than to lose. so I will sell my coins when my coins have increased 40% and also better to invest in old coins safer and more profitable than new altcoin is very risky to lose because coins cannot last long in the crypto market. I also have experience like yours. I invested several times in new coins but continued to suffer losses. so I now choose to invest in old coins. although at the moment most of the altcoins are also declining because the value of bitcoin is down. but I believe that when bitcoin pumps, most of the altcoins will also increase.
+1Many tradets getting poor because of greediness! Most of them are looking only for positive feedback on fakenews for cryptocurrency. Therefore, they buy coins not in price action buy by gossips of authors. Until they will sell most of the investment because of too much long to be waited. Greediness and unawareness are not an asset for crypto, they are vice so we should forget them.

The first step to the solution is knowing what caused the loss, then making a better strategy to recover. I once invested in projects which didn't work out well, what I did was to look carefully for more potential ones while removing my eyes and paying deaf to hype and I was able to recover gradually.

I think you need to invest in other currencies better and safer projects to cover losses. We should not be too greedy, but slowly find a way to invest well.
