In this case, the most correct decision will be to keep and not sell all of its assets, since based on statistics, it is the long-term investor who wins more often.

Overcome your fears and keep holding. If you have money, then you can buy a little more appropriate.
Do not speculate and trade frequently, because the transaction costs are very expensive.
You need to calculate the transaction costs on exchange before decide to invest in crypto. It is basic skills to trading, I think just noob trader or newbie forget that fees and waste money for transaction cost. As far as I know, most of the exchanges have 0.5-0.25% per order.

My strategy is when prices are falling I keep close watching the rates and analyze the market sentiments where the possibilities of recovering or more chance to fall down or going to sustain for more time according to the fact only I use to take the decision so that I can avoid panic selling and nothing will cause loses to our investment.

Hello. I have a folio of BTC, ETH, NEO and some alts. I've been watching at Bitcoin since 2015 but bought only at this summer (and the last move was quite bad, I bought some BTC for $4600). I try to study, watch vids, read forum and twitters. Chris Dunn has a vid on the topic but nothing really specific. I'm interested in some ideas about what to do when prices are falling.  Sell alts and hold bitcoin? Short? (and if yes, so the next question is how to learn how to short?).
At the point when the cost is falling its a decent time to accepted open door to purchase BTC Because we as a whole witness how cryptographic money functions its like a wheel a cyclic course now and then it goes up and here and there goes down. That is the reason speculator in exchanging exploited in the changes of BTC. The more you are savvy in exchanging the more cash you acquire.

Today most coins dropped around 10%, for me its a good buying point

No worries for that dear. Bitcoin may have been dropping for now but I tell you, be sure enough to hold your coin very tight, because you will never believe its value after the 10% fall. Bticoin will be up for up to 700%! Big enough for you to change your thinking and of course to because successful bitcoin holder.

Do not focus on price! If price is going down, spend time with another thing, go walk, write something, go to a run in the park, go live your life, because real life is about it, is about you and your relatives.

The lesson stays up: never spend money on cryptos that you cannot loose.

just wait until the price is back stable .. there is nothing we can do besides, but if you have the capital and courage this is the time to buy, because btc will go back up, just wait

Bitcoin will never become  stable its price coz as we all know, bitcoin's price never became stable since it was created. Its price keeps on fluctuating in every second. With regards to the sudden price drop of bitcoin, we must stay calm and wait for the moment that its price will recover and will keep on increasing.

I've been in the game since mid-2016, well before the big craze.

When you see the first big dips with -40, -50%, you're afraid, you panic, you sell. And then boom, it jumps back up and you start to realize that just because something falls, doesn't mean it's dead and will never return to it's former glory (except ZEC, I mean the idiot who bought at 4000$ when it started trading has probably jumped of a cliff by now...). It may take days, weeks, months, but it always comes back.

The dip we are seeing now is a normal dip. It will happen again for the simple reason that everything has a cycle. Remember that Greed plays a big role in this, it pushes the market to its limits until it pulls back to return to normal levels, at which point it'll grow back again.

Also a lot of newcomers dropped cash into cryptos. Some did it with patience and analysis and bought cryptos with a clear budget to minimize their losses, others just picked up whatever they could get at whatever price. I suspect there are a lot of people from the second category that were in full FOMO mode. When they saw prices started to decline, people warning about the bitcoin bubble, they got scared and are now selling their coins in panic. These are the people that will have regrets because I guarantee you that this dip is just temporary.

I know others will say that hodling is a bad idea for whatever bullshit reason. I'll give you my experience with this: had I held on to my ETH, ZEC etc a year ago, I'd have at least 100K more in my portfolio today. Every single coin I own I have bought with cryptos. I have never invested a single $ in a coin, I have invested it in hardware, that mined the coins for me that I then traded and used to buy other cryptos. People who dropped their savings in cryptos and panic sell have only themselves to blame.

Always remember that crypto trading, much like normal stock trading, relies a lot on psychology more than it does on what a crypto has to offer.

So yes, my portfolio is down 40%. Do I care? Of course I do, I'd rather see green than red. Do I sell? Fuck no. They only thing that annoys me is to miss opportunities now that the prices are low and I don't want to sell some of my coins at low prices.

And don't listen to the bankers like that a-hole from JP Morgan. These guys are just terrified of what is happening because they have NO. FUCKING. CONTROL over this.

So what to do when prices fall? Stay strong and forget about it unless your well being and life depend on it. If you put in more than you could afford, you forgot about the first rule in crypto.  Take a deep breath, go have a beer and relax.

There is no need of getting panic at that time and making for some foolish decision, in fact you need to control your nerves and hold your bitcoins in order to have a good profit. Otherwise, you will suffer a huge loss and you have to also spend quite a lot to have a secent rig
Keep in mind if your coin investment is very good, but give it immediately if you are trading candlestick or newsletters because that means you have made the wrong decision. I think the decision is up to you because you will be most responsible for your possessions and you will feel your decision is right or wrong to draw experience for yourself.

We don't have to panic if there is a huge price drop that is happening on every tokens that we are holding, if we have extra bitcoin, then we have to buy tokens that is on a dump price and sell it when it PUMPS so that way we could have the profits so people should not try too sell all there coin as they think its price will again fall but they should wait for some time and then see the magic its price will surely increase.

We can see price falls down, many panic sellers also have rattled decissions and couldn't decise what's better so they are selling at an earlier time and don't care for another pump of the price.Much better is to take advantage of such situation by increasing the amount of asset.

For me what I do when bitcoin is falling I typically hold it and wait until the price will rise again. In trading you must have patience to wait when price will increase so if you don't have patience you will always lost profit. So I f I were you I will practice this characteristic of an expert trader.
