I think personally that every bitcoin user have multiple types of wallets which used for different purposes.

I am currently using web wallet. My vote also for majority.

For web wallet I am using most trusted blockchain.info web wallet services. I have choose blockchain web wallet mainly considering security majors. It have some disadvantages too as miner fee.

i use different wallets for different purposes. sometimes i combine some methods. as long as one knows what he is doing and what the differences and risks are, them most wallets are ok.

same as me and i use multibit in my pc and i feel comfort with that software beside that, i use mycelium in my android. but in the other wallet, i use web exchange wallet as i use it for daily trading and i only save a few thousand of satoshi in that site as i always spread my amount of bitcoin in many wallet.

I am using a web wallet right now. I prefer a web wallet since I can have access to it wherever I go as long as there is an internet connection. Unlike other wallets web wallets can be accessed using smartphones and apps. Specifically I am using the web wallet hosted by blockchain.info since the btc address keeps changing in every transaction that adds to the security factor.

personally I use blockchain for spending and daily activities and I'm not recommending it by the way , but I have been using it for over two years and didn't face any problem
for savings I use paper wallets cause I can't get a trezor here , but yeah paper wallets are great too

I mostly use web wallet specially blockchain.info web wallet and mobile wallet. However i try to keep proper backup of my wallet as well as i have saved private key of bitcoin address i have in blockchain web wallet.

I also have lightweight desktop wallet (electrum) but i don't use it too often.

obviously aside from cold storage in paper wallets i have another wallet and i have always been using a light (SPV) wallet called electrum all these years but it has been some time that i have been thinking about running a Full node myself. i am having some trouble with my internet provider but as soon as i sort that out i will start my own full node, and my computer is running long hours already better if i contribute to bitcoin network too.

I only have a small stash of BTC so I use Electrum. Maybe if I grow my stash to 20 BTC or more I might think about buying a hardware wallet. Preferably a Trezor. Keepkey was my first choice but after the news that they were hacked I changed my mind.

Mobile wallet as "checking account" for ease of use that I never keep too much on, multisig paper wallets as "savings account" that I keep it all on for highest level of security. I feel it's one of the best combinations you can have.

I use 2 kind of wallets, one for daily/monthly use which I prefer more an online wallet even though it's not recommended and the second one is a hardware wallet which I prefer to use more as a long term wallet like a cold wallet.

I think electrum is suitable for all of us even if he is a newbie or an expert. I have used electrum for many years and I find it very useful and easy to use. Right now, I am using two wallets: core and electrum. Core is better since you can do many things with it. If you want to learn some advanced techniques with your Bitcoin, Core will be the best choice

I use web wallet even peoples said it's not safe to save your money online. I use web wallet because it will save me when I accidently broke my computer if I use desktop wallet, or if I lose my phone when I use mobile wallet.
But many times, I place my bitcoin in the exchangers wallet. Because the fee is low and it's support my local currency.

I do not use any single wallet for my bitcoins. I always keep more than two wallets including hardware and online wallet. This is the key to safely store my bitcoins. I also maintain a small balance in my trading accounts which I use for daily trading.

never keep your bitcoins in any single wallet as it can be hacked and you will end up loosing all your bitcoins. Always use more than two wallets for your bitcoins so that if any one wallet is hacked, some of your bitcoins will be saved.

I use Electrum.
It is light weight and I don't have to worry about retrieving my bitcoins if my computer crashes.  Smiley
I think the desktop wallet is a wallet safest because you do not depend on a third party and you are fully responsible for your bitcoin. you should have a backup and a private key to keeping your bitcoin when something happens to your computer
