I would recommend BCH, not necessarily because i have vast knowledge of various wallets but because its the only one i've identified with it is really fast and quite OK.

When choosing a wallet, it is worth considering the level of security and ease of use. There is a conditional classification of wallets for crypto currency, a single or multi-currency, desktop, mobile, online or paper, hot or cold wallet.

If you travel a lot then the best way to keep your BTC and ETH secure is by putting it in a hardware wallet,
You could choose Nano ledger or Trezor it is the best hard ware wallet.

Myetherwallet is easy to use and safe, because you do not transfer your coins to a third-party service - it only helps to access the ETH that is stored on your hard drive

Myetherwallet is good, but recently it got a bad news hacked by hackers.
The safest wallet is hardware wallet such as ledger

Here 3 wallets of 2018 I recommand:

1. Coinbase’s Ethereum wallet – The simplest option Coinbase supplies an Ethereum wallet as well as a Bitcoin wallet. Coinbase’s wallet is simple to set up and very easy to use, however it has a few limitations you’ll need to be aware of:

The company holds the private key of the wallet for you. This means you’re not in control of your funds and Coinbase can decide to shut down your account if they want to.
There were cases in the past that Coinbase shut down user accounts do to illegal activity. The Coinbase ETH wallet doesn’t support ETC (Ethereum Classic).

2. ETHAdress – The cold storage option. For those of you who wish to store Ethereum offline you can print out an Ethereum Paper wallet. ETHAdress is an open source project that will create Ethereum paper wallets for you. Similar to bitaddress.org, the site will create a private and public key pair with the click of a button. You can then print out this information and store it in a safe place so no external hacker will be able to get your coins. One more option that’s available is to encrypt your private key so that if you or anyone else wants to use the coins they will need to know the password to decrypt it.

3. MyEtherWallet – A web interface for Ethereum MyEtherWallet is a website that allows you to create, send and receive Ethereum without it having any control over your private keys. When you first enter the site you can choose if you want to generate a wallet, send Ethereum or a variety of other options.

If you generate a wallet the site will create a public-private key pair which will be protected by a password of your choosing. You will then get a downloadable file with that key pair for future use. Whenever you will want to send Ethereum from this file you will need to upload it to the site and supply the password.

Sending can be done via the website itself or through other wallets such as TREZOR or Ledger. The site’s code is open source and it only works with ETH.

I only use blockchain for my bitcoin storage because I think the safest place is in blockchain. I also never use another wallet other than blockchain because I just found out bitcoin and fear of being hacked.

Hi there,

i'm quite unsure about where to save my btc and eth. personally as i travel a lot i will have difficulties using a hardware-wallet, so i was thinking of a kind of mobile version. is there anything you could recommend?

sincerely speaking about it. I was recommended about to use offline wallet due to the sudden development on my wallet so I was now told to use offline wallet.  you can use ethereum hardware wallet to save your tokens I think that is more secure and reliable.

The best portfolio depends on you. There are some basic differences, but you will choose the one that fits best.

Centralized Wallets - You trust your coins to someone or company.

Decentralized Portfolios - You are responsible for everything. You are your own bank.

I use Electrum for Android. Decentralized. You only need to save 12 words. It may be on paper. Wink

I am using blockchain.info wallet for my bitcoin and myetherwallet for my etherium for me this 2 online wallet are both safe and secured because you are holding there private keys just make sure that you already save it and put it in very safe place that no one can stole it from you.
These are the main and best wallet to be using for saving our coins, but i think that still there are so many other wallets, like xapo which you can use for saving your coins, in fact you can also use exchanges wallet for saving your coins, but i will not recommend you to keep a big amount in exchange wallet which can not be consider as more secure and trusted.

For my ERC20, I used myetherwallet, and I'm so pleased with it, and so far I have no problems with myether, I also used coins.ph for my bitcoin and to convert it into money. And so today there are already a lot of wallets for storage and payment.

Depending on OS you use on your smartphone you can choose from 1 to 11 different mobile wallets.I never use any of them, but Electrum and Mycelium are very popular with users of Android OS.If you have the possibility I think you should definitely try them first to see if they meet your needs. Also be sure to always download original version and that your smartphone is not infected with some malware.

For more info, you can check here: https://bitcoin.org/en/wallets/mobile/android/
Thanks for the advice. This is a very good idea too for me. Because I also need a wallet that can be on my mobile phone. So I can travel anywhere quietly and make any transaction so easy. My suggestion I will use now to simplify everything I want to do.

As for me I recommend you the wallet that are used in your country, is it better if the wallet you'll be using is trusted and many users where using that. Do some research here in the bitcoin forum specifically in your locale as you will find what you are wanted to know. And also find the suitable wallet for your phone, there's a lot of them but before you choose, see first the good and the bad of it.
