In the beginning, I had a few bad experiences with bitcoin. First I got hacked and went broke. Kept working hard and managed to get a few coins and then came Mintpal and I lost some coins again. And apart from a few HYIPs that made me lose a lot of money... Now, I see that as a learning process and am happy to be able to alert others about this sort of issues

Initially when i had started bitcoin life people around the web fooled me in every spare of my life. Whenever and wherever I had invested money all went into water as because I was not aware of scam site but Hashocean was a legit site but when i had invested then it ran away. So unfortunate I was and then many other cloud mining site especially Hype site scammed me because of my innocence.

In the start I was suggested by someone to start PTC earning with bitcoin but due to its concept of mining and unknown name it was hard for me then I studied about it and then I started to use faucets to earn bitcoins from online after that on these faucets when I started to get more knowledge I came hear and the I started trading of bitcoin.
HAHAHA. Maybe PTC is the first choice most of the people here for joining bitcoin world.But no one can succeed with PTC earning system.I remembered one site, That was Trafficmoonsoon.I have earned about 10USD (payza) from this site.It was the only site that paid me.But it has gone about 7+monthes.
I am also doing the facute mining.But still, now, i cant withdrawn my BTC because of minimum payout
The basic reason why newbies go for PTC sites, faucet sites, and investment site is because it's getting promoted everywhere. You will see some PTC site, ignore it, see it again, ignore it again, and then see it again until you become interested on what that is and why are people posting about it again and again. Most PTC users are even faking their account balance so they can attract referrals. It's not that bad for a source of income if you know how to make people sign up under you. Simply doing the click click thing wouldn't take you somewhere. Referrals is actually the key to most sites that offer affiliate program.
What you are saying is true that even now who are holding good referral system and earning good returns from faucet through referral system. If not it is totally waste of time going for faucet earning.
I was first introduced to bitcoin through earning through faucet only but after some days one more of my friend gave me this forum detail and about how to earn through signature campaign. I am really very much thankfull to him to introduce to me to this forum and now i am earning very good income through bitcoin work

My friend told me about bitcoins as he was earning good amount of bitcoins from signature campaign but at the first sight I found it very complicated and couldn't understand much about it but after reading and spending time on this forum I started to find it interesting and a good way of earning money.
I told about four or five friends about this forum too and they were only able to make a few posts (under 5) and then they quit because "they were lazy to do it". After I got over $500 in my BTC account, they started posting again but then quit once again... how can you quit such an easy and entertaining way to earn some extra pocket bucks?
My "friend" was the TV, I saw the news about Bitcoin's price skyrocketting to $1000 and it amazed me, so I instantly researched about it and now I'm here, still interested in it

My first experience was trading. I heard there are new sites where one can trade virtual, computer made money. I got interested and wired some cash to one of my local exchanges.
Bitcoin was quickly gaining value, so I bought some and earned a small profit on the first day, so I quickly sold and took the profits. This made my curious, I wanted to learn more and thus came to bitcointalk...

Usually people have different ways to know about the bitcoin, but when i know than i have no big heart like you, because i was not ready to do trade with bitcoin. Because i have no trust on first time, even i did faucets but with the passing time, when i have trust as my friends told me than i do trade and invest on it.

I came to know about Bitcoin this year through my friend
When I heard about it I was really amazed and was curious to know more and try
He told me about the ways to earn Bitcoin
I'm currently using this method

Everyone when first introduce to Bitcoin is very much unlikely to understand it completely. I was no different, for me even having 0.0001 Bitcoin was a great success!!
I would like to blame Bitcoin community about it. They are hyping Bitcoin as something- "Very Difficult To Earn". So generally people are happy to hold 10-20k satoshis initially. Trend needed to be change, we as a community members should promote Bitcoin as an innovation in currency system and well-performing Investment!

I guess you have started fauceting first, while you get into the bitcoins. I was introduced by my friend. He told we can easily earn bitcoins here and can able to convert to fiat. Then I started as newbie to learn things in the forum and later on joined with the signature campaign and make some decent earnings from the that time to now.
Exactly! I started with a faucet known as freebitco.in. At that time, I used to make calculations till when I will make a full bitcoin and damn it was 10 years! I am happy, I evolved overtime and now in better position. Yes, after joining this forum I am more clear with Bitcoin. The forum has opened new gates of Bitcoin earning for me. So, to every new enthusiast who ask me about Bitcoin, I suggest this forum!

My experience is it tested my patience as I'm into faucet that time and remembered they have good bounties on it but now it would totally waste your time if you just manually visit their site. I do HYIP site and the result was all the same they are scam they just put some announcement that they have been hack or something then the bitcoin you invested to them are gone.
It is sad that a new person starting bitcoins got scammed by some HYIP sites because its kind of discouraging signs for anyone.When I started with bitcoins I had no clue how to earn it, I just knew that this is not controlled by someone and its like gold which we save and sell, never thought it would get converted into a currency.
The fact is majority of us have got scammed or invested in ponzi schemes in the past but we cannot afford to blame bitcoins for that as it was our own mistake which led us to an disaster but the best thing is that we have learnt from the mistakes and now successfully earning the best currency of the world.

When i first started, I was start get bitcoin with faucet and ptc sites and didn't have the knowledge of it but i think it is way too slow to earn coins. when i search more how to get bitcoin faster I found this forum
I have started the same way. I oined to bitcoin aboyt a year ago and remeber clearly those first money that my faucets work bringed to me. the price werearound 400$ that time and I have made just 2$ for week on some faucets. it is just nothing. Today I make the same money with couple of comments. So for myselfi decided that faucets are just wasting of time, cause of on this site there is campaigns who work even withnewbies and it is much better that silly faucets.I think almost all of us start earning bitcoin from faucets because that is the most easy and basic way to earn bitcoin. If you are just starting earning bitcoin those amount you get from faucets won't matter to you because that is the only way you know to earn. Until you discover some other ways like investing on ponzis and get addicted to gambling sites. At first you would really experience some hard times. But when you discover some real ways like trading or through sig campaigns in this forum, it will be the beginning where you earn some good amount of bitcoin.

Agree. As we get scammed, and pass through the experience of losing our hard earned Bitcoins, we learn from our mistakes and become vary of the realities that exist within crypto land. Since it is somewhat unregulated, we can expect these things to happen. That is why it is advised to think twice before considering to invest into any project or service, before regretting the loss of your coins.
I started around the same way, and was about to leave Bitcoin because of this. However, I've considered taking the necessary precautions with protecting my Bitcoin, and decided to save coins as much as I can for the long term when the price of each coin would rise. As of today, I've made profit thanks to the price increase that Bitcoin had over the years turning from $350 (since I've started in 2014) to $1025.
Nevertheless, I hope to gain more experience in Bitcoin, and other cryptocurrencies as time goes by.

then my instructions, I start with HYIP, this is so bad

It's the time of Bitcoin baptism and it's funny I also got ripped off my early bitcoins through gambling. I think it's s normal phenomenon that every newbie has to go through.

I humbly started in bitcoins back in 2015 Actually It was kind of tough for me because I dont know how will I start ! At first when I found out about bitcoins I thought I am gonna be rich ! I spent 3 months in faucets day by day I am browsing too many Web pages at once just to earn satoshi and when I am able to withdraw what I earned I become disappointed because I can't even buy a burger with that money ! Until I found out about bitcointalk and the rest is history !

It was kinda LOL at first, bitcoin was introduced to me by my friend who is now earning good by bitcoin I find it hard to understand was is this, on how this money works, because I do not know what is crypto currencies or virtual money, I am totally ignorant on this thing, he gave me this link and some youtube link for me to learn what and how to earn it. But after I guess 2 weeks I learned already on how things work but just not in pro style, you know beginners and help totally helps me on how to understand this industry.
