It is a bit of a paradox, but it is kinda like saying that sales for X brand refrigerator would sky rocket if it was the only brand out there. One currency has a long time to get here and by the time it does, there are likely going to be other derivatives of Bitcoin that serve that purpose better. Then choosing that one currency will be another probelm.
I think the world will be better if there is only one currency left. But it will not gonna happen so we do not need to think about it too much and waste our precious time. The world will still have more 1 currency
I really agree if there is only one currency in the world or global currency, it will make the prosperity more evenly than what is now happening. But indeed every state government has its own interests for his country, including to control the value of the currencyAt the moment, a large percentage of the use of Bitcoin is in trading. If you go down to one currency then you lose that group. That only makes a little sense because using one currency would eliminate options, but the point is that Bitcoin gains many people to it because of the very existence of multiple currencies and trading.
It seems impossible to realize such a thing. Because the policy of each country is different, its needs are also different among fiat. If something like that happens, the economy of each country will be destroyed. You can imagine each state price of a material 1 with another different while the same nominal value, then there will be losses and resulted in the country looking for alternatives to create their own value of a goods / produce a good. So long over time the value of the currency is abandoned. If making all nations seems impossible because there are significant price differences between countries. As well as the above illustrations.

I think it's bad because the economic circumstances of each country are different and difficult to arrange if using only one currency CMIIW
Surely it will be chaotic, the monopoly will make people continue to be poor so that I do not like one world currency, look now, too strong domination by the USD to make many countries difficulties to survive.
In the currency is based in the real world the the circulation of the money will became abnormal because that fiat price will depend only which country it is created so the market system will be abnormal because each country need a own currency. And I think if that will happen our era will go back into barter trade.
Then it will increase much faster and everyone will like to spend that money. Almost all of the investors will have only this currency to invest in it and think then how much people will have their money in it. That will be a greater amount of money of the world and they all will increase the price of that coin much higher.
there is a chance that the economy will improve and there is always something bad will happen also, so the question here is what if we use only one currency if we used it the economy can improve because almost all of the people will cooperate regarding to this currency they will always discuss about it and the bad thing is people will fight against to it.
I think we are already using bitcoin as one currency thorough out the world, I am sure that it will bring too much positive effects on the economy of the countries. as currently very little number of people are using bitcoin but the majority of people do not know about bitcoin, they still need proper introduction and knowledge about bitcoin, so that they can also start earning from bitcoin. 
It is impossible to have one currency for all countries. The winner will be the one who controls the currency. Very often to heat up the economy using monetary emission. How can this be achieved if other countries are not profitable.
Yeah the winner will be the corrupt officials that eyeing for the money. It will be a confusion to everyone in the world.
World economy will be down. Countries who are rich will become more richer and the poor countries will become more and more poorer

A world currency would enable a small group of wealthy elites to grab even more wealth into their hands, so the wealthy will become wealthier, the poor even poorer. I don't really understand people who are claiming here that the economy is going to improve. For some countries it may certainly hold true, but for the rest of the world it might not be so. Basically, such a currency would be an economic weapon of mass destruction

It is really hard to predict to what will happen to the situation that you given. For me that situation gives us a problem in our economy of different countries and for me it will not give us a unity, it will gives us a very messy life. This is a good thing because there is no gap between the countries, equitable economics will become faster and everyone will be easy to Transact in the absence of domination to a specific currency.
This will never happen simply because is an utopia. It was an idea 70 years ago of the famous economist Keynes but rich national economies will never let it happen. The loss for them will be very big and nobody wants to pay the others debts.
If we use one currency only, we should have a world government. The word of sovereignty had never emerged in the absence of political units, international organizations and countries.
and of course there not much business available especially for foreign exchange trader.nothing good or could make world better when we have to use a single currency. let it be like this , bitcoin indeed have considered as global currency but it is doesn't mean other currency should not be used and abandoned right?

The whole world using one currency will be a sign of the end of this world. In bible in the book of revelation john actually put this down. From beginning I thought that that is what is about to happen but with the advent of others coins like ethereum and litecoin I think we still have long time to go.

Not supported if countries are going to be the same geographical cut outs. If every country is more concerned to its own need than universal brotherhood then one currency can bring danger to national security and growth. People may fraudulently enter into more malpractices and laundering without any check. Yes, without recognizing any currency as international and using any currency secondary globally then it coould bring positive returns as it would has nothing to do with national concern like BITCOIN
Globalization is coming. I think one currency and maybe even one language is the future of humanity. Today we have no idea how will it work and will it work at all, but I'm sure it will happen
As to me, that's unlikely
Right now, mastering a few languages gives you a competitive edge against the rest of the pack, and having a few coins (carefully chosen) would be pretty much like this. It just gives you more flexibility and reliability. Indeed, you shouldn't be blind in choosing which coin to save your wealth in as well as which language to learn. If English is not your mother tongue, your choice should be rather straightforward, otherwise there can be options
