Having different currencies for country is important. Each country has its own level of growth in its economy. In order to balance the growth of the economy a country should have a central bank that regulates the amount of currencies being circulated in the market. This regulation is being determined by the supply and demand of that specific country. Now, if the world has only once currency. The regulation and adjustment of the currency would be impossible because each country has its own supply and demand of basic and consumer goods. In addition, if only one currency will be used for all the countries, money smuggling will be more easy which will make the economy of a specific country unstable because of inflation or deflation.
Firstly, all the government would have to come to a consensus on it, which is very unlikely. Second, the so called global currency has to be backed by something which is valued by all, which again is unlikely. Say, a country with lots of Gold in reserve would want it to be backed by gold while another country with lots of platinum reserve will want it to be backed by platinum. The only way which perhaps may be acceptable is workforce, which again is hard to determine about the stability of.

I just thought about this, if there is only one currency, there would be no trading. Trading with different currencies, maybe just valuable goods and other stuff that is worth to trade. I doubt that there would be only one currency in the world, it's just not going to work. A lot of people want to have their own stuff, and that's what always happens.
I think the world will be better if there is only one country and one currency. People will be equal to each other and there will be no racism, no discrimination, no need to trade. But I think that it will never happen because as you say, people only want their own stuff

Such a development could be called a paradise, but for the establishment of one currency it is necessary that the economic situation be equal in all parts of the world.

Well maybe yes but do it have to?  Should economic situation be equal to all parts of the world to use one currency?  Maybe for me it is okay to have one currency even the economy of different countries  are different.  Maybe one dollar can pay all your bills in this country but it would take three dollars to do it in Asian region.  I think the idea is so cool.  Wish it could happen someday.

If it happens, then only the country whose currency is used would flourish and dominate the world economy.Already we could see US dollars dominating the world economy. It has made US richer than any other country. If such one currency idea comes true, then no country would be able to control the currency according to their prevailing market situations.

I guess, the idea of using one global currency will create equality for all nation.  We will break racial discrimination through that but of course, it will bring a great impact to our global economy and many people might not easily accept it.  Domestic workers do not need to work away from their family and love ones because they will earn the same value of money even they work on their own countries.  If the bitcoin promotes the idea to become global currency, the support of all governments are essential to do so.  It is quite impossible right now, but I am still hoping that someday, it will happen.

I'd rather say it would cause the exact opposite in real life

So, instead of creating "equality for all nations", it would only lead to widening of an already existing inequality. Did Euro magically make European countries equal? I guess the effect is quite the opposite. For example, before Euro Greece was a financially independent country, but now it is basically enslaved by German capital. How can that be possibly interpreted as "equality"? Maybe, only for those who habitually practice doublethink and doublespeak (something like "war is peace, freedom is slavery, ignorance is strength")

Yes agree, then we will not find a gap that is too far away, remember the current wealth of some people in the United States is greater than the foreign countries in Asia and Africa, one world one currency is the best solution.

Well, in the case that all countries will move, for example, on dollar do they want it or not they will have to accept it, and in that case dollar will become international currency. In this case only one country wins - the US. But in the case if bitcoin will be accepted as international currency nobody will be a winner. I don't meen that every cuntry will be a looser, no, I mean that everything will be fair and nobody is going to be first or higher or main or ect. in this case. Sounds good  Wink
Dollars and now I go all over the world. For this the Americans have made so that all people have the dollars and not interested in his depreciation. I think as long as there is no currency which can compete with the dollar. This is the key to the success of the American economy.
and to me i think we are going to use a single currency and that will be bitcoin, as  bitcoin is still the number one online currency and still there is not a single currency so close to bitcoin to compete it.
That is still far from happening, it would not be easy and will never happen I guess, bitcoin will never replace the current fiat system as it is fully supported by the government. Bitcoin is successful so I guess we should be already contented with the success that we have and let's focus on a more
realistic development than thinking of replacing the old working system.

[Edited to make it more understandable question]
What if all nation use only a one currency or one global currency?, What will happen to our world?, What is the effect of every nation's or every country economy?, It can make people's unite each other?Any opinion. Cheesy
If all nation uses only a one currency, there is a good effect and bad effect for me. The good effect is, there is need to have a money exchanger for you to have a legal currency in other country. We can use currency into country so it will make us easier to buy a thing and to travel anywhere. But the bad effect is, there is no trading will happen so all we is go only in business to earn.

There are a couple of main reasons (although many more) why most countries have their own currency:

1. Each country wants to be able to regulate their own economy, having their own currency that they control gives them that power.

2. It provides a small barrier between a nation's economy and the global economy. An example of this is Greece with the Euro, though luckily it was contained to Greece as far as I know. If a nation's economy collapses and they have a worldwide currency it could be very bad.

Indeed. It also gives a country its own identity different from other countries. I think having one currency would just to more division and power struggles between rich countries and it may very well lead to military conflicts as to should have control over that one currency
And what about the European zone, which has a common currency and is quite valuable for today. The euro is not national, but it was recognized by all the countries of the European Union. And the dollar is generally considered international and nothing terrible happens. Wars begin for other reasons.
