We don't know, but with our technology being tested every now and then and more gadgets/things are being invented, the future of hi-technology is going great. But greater power comes greater responsibility and some important things are being compromised and sacrificed. Like nature, it's slowly dying and since we have technology, we have to use it to prevent this from happening. And hopefully, our world will still be a place that we can live in in the future.

Well , what will the world be like in 100 years ? I think we are still here in our own planet but we have a lots of modern technology which we can use with our work for us to be easily finish our job . All of the people are disciplined and there’s no people are poor .
People thought the same for decades, but somehow most people still end up working all day and having little to no free time. Hopefully AI will finally change that.

I think it will become worst. There will be a war between all countries. There will be bombs everywhere, nukes will landing in different places, bloods and dead people will seen in the streets, and many people will become slaves.

Nope. I think that the opposite will happen. As technology progresses, people will become less interested in fighting. Also, human life will become more valuable (because most of the couples will be having just one or two children). Slavery will cease to exist, as people will become more educated, sensitive, and prone to political correctness.
Slavery still exists in some sense in first world countries. But that's mostly due to people being unwilling to push themselves further. That's probably not going to go away. And for fucks sake, I hope political correctness will never be a mainstream thing (it's only a real issue in the US as far as I can tell anyways). Pandering to whiny idiots just creates more whiny idiots and less people who are willing to explore their full potential as a human being. Political correctness is a cancer that needs to go.

I do agree that the world will get increasingly better though. There'll be new problems, but overall there'll be an upwards trend.

So interesting to see this question, because since yesterday I've been searching for pictures of my neighborhood in the early 1900s. And I just finished watching two long videos showing my city in the 1930s and 40s.

It's amazing how alive these people were, just like people today, but almost all of them are dead. (I mostly searched for early 1900s, so all of those are dead.)

And amazing how old some of the buildings that I grew up with are.

Before if someone asked me I would have imagined they were built in the 80s, but they were shared with these people who lived in the late 1800s, early 1900s.

So 100 year from now I imagine it will be similar to an equivalent of me.

I hope that in 100 years people will live much better than now, there will be no wars, hunger and disease. And the mankind will begin to plow the expanses of the universe!

What will the world be like in 100 years? As how I see it, I think there would no longer be a "world" as how we perceive it right now. I think humanity would be washed away by the waters of this world as the world itself would take on revenge on the abuse that we did.

As morbid and pessimistic as it may seem, your point has a very good chance of happening if we continue to be stubborn about our ways in treating nature. It eventually will come around and in less than a century we probably will see a big change due to the repercussions of our actions

I think in the next 100 years, our children will have a lack of foods and water or maybe the world will be destroyed by alien's innovations.

I don't think the world will exist in the next 100 years may be the world is doom and the life of the universe has ended we too are in the afterlife between heaven and hell. all we can do for this world is to do good things and protect the natural resources for our children later

I want to be optimistic and say that people's work will be replaced by robots and they will walk around the world and be more sociable among themselves

The world has an advance technology that can cure any kinds of sickness or diseases specially the cancer. Also i think about the equipment in war, all countries have their own nuclear bomb.

I see that the world will be full of technology...technology will reap many areas of our lives and most people will stop taking notice of their inner world and the feelings of people...I'm afraid very much that people will become cold and antisocial

I think it will not, there will be always outgoing and loud people in the future, nothing will change in peoples' attitude/inherited behavior.
But for me, the future will looks like a lot different, you'll see the change of looks in the world map because of the rising sea level.

As the technology progresses, physical activity and communication between the individuals will get reduced to a bare minimum. Even now, most of the youth are hooked in to the social media apps in their smartphones and not taking part in any sports or other outdoor activity. IMO, in the near future, this issue will escalate even more.
