I wouldn't sell my altcoins that i have been holding for a long time to buy other hyped altcoins, As there is no guarantee that it would make x5 or x10 profits for you and help you to recover losses.
any assets that you buy there is no guarantee that it will turn a profit. all hanging with your analysis. some altcoin I think is still good, I also get the advantage of some of altcoin every day.

To recoup for losses, an investor must reinvest but this time with new strategies. Knowledge is very important hence it is required for every investor to learn about the better ways of choosing the right coins. This will also allow the investor to know when to buy and when to sell.

I think it will be in vain if we exchange the coin with another coin because the coin has fallen so that it would be better for us to wait for the coin to rise again
if we don't want to wait and in the end we just exchange it for bitcoin and ethereum then I think it would be better for us to invest there from the start

You have a long list of altcoin portfolio that have tanked down by 90% since you participated in the ICO.  What was $5000 is now worth $500.  You are at a loss of $4000 and there happen to be an upcoming token sale that is pretty hyped.

You are in desperate need to recover your losses and you plan to invest in that hyped token sale in hope that you can earn 5-10x.  Would you:

1. Pump fresh fiat out of your pocket into the token sale or
2. Trade off the the altcoins you have for BTC/ETH and invest into that hyped token sale.

Although I think I have a good knowledge of this market, I am experiencing a serious loss of capital in certain periods. The biggest reason I have experienced these losses is the panic buying and panic sales. When I encounter such situations, I usually start to trade more carefully and in a short period of time, I have lost my losses. But I do not know why it is never easy to get serious profit margin easily. When I reach my main money amount, I get some income again with small transactions and then I lose my income. Long story short I go back and forth on a dead end. In such cases of damage, I recommend you to trade altcoin because I usually make up for my losses in this way.

Am already in loss so won't want to add more by pumping in more money, the best I could do is to find an alternative like Bounty hunting and also trade with the little I have left

It's hard to recover from loses, even I don't dare to buy bitcoin even though the current price is only around $ 4050, the number of scam projects is certainly the main cause that the market is difficult to recover and I prefer to wait.
It could be hard  if you don't believe again with crypto but yet you are still in here and definitely you'll finding a ways to recover of what you've in the past days. Patience will always be a key for us in order to succeed and achieve of what we aim for, quitting is just an option and it does not a solution to recover for our losses. Why we shouldn't have a try again and even give some trust again towards bitcoin, it maybe this year would be our chances to recover.

Investing in crypto has many risks. You have to think carefully before deciding to put your money into ICO or crypto. So failure is normal for investors. but good investors will not fear failure. It is a lesson for them and they will do better next time. The crypto market is recovering, don't be discouraged, try harder for your future
I have great faith in this market and will not give up the investment that I have. I believe the price increase will happen in this market but it may take up to 3 years to wait. Maybe it will make me feel discouraged in waiting but I will never sell all my assets because I hope a higher price is coming.
- If your beliefs have solid and reasonable baseline data, I will not say anything more about your choice because you know what you're doing, you know that everything you expect will happen at some point. However, if you only have a pure belief, an infinite belief right now, maybe you should change your choice because you don't know what you are doing, and that can make you wait in vain, even loss will increase over time and cannot recover, and to prevent the worst possible situation, you need another strategy such as cutting loss, it can be very annoying but this is the method that will help you not have more regrets

The best way to recover loss in my opinion are first invest only in stable coin those in the top 20 in coinmarket cap. I keep buying when price continue to fall to lower my buying  average. And never ever try to go on hyped coins it can ruin more your investment the risk is very high in hype coins not recommended for newbie trader.
I think that a loss once can be instrumental in aiding you avoid the same mistakes again and there are more chances next time that you will win. You can recover the losses and on the average go above in terms of profits than the negative profits you have incurred.

Currently the best coins in the market should be your target and they can really be grate in giving some handsome return.

There is nothing that can be done, because the loss in this case has become a risk, we certainly understand what are the risks in cryptocurrency and when we experience a loss, this is naturally the most important thing we must remain optimistic for the future

Diversifying into higher risk assets is not necessarily a good strategy unless you can get them at a bargain when they're well oversold and then be patient and wait for them to appreciate again, but this will only benefit you if it is good quality startups you're committing capital to not just any flavor of the week token and especially not any asset that doesn't have a good quality MVP, transparent team, strong marketing and promising partnerships

Neither. I would deal with my lost and hold tokens until better times come or I would go short on tokens after ICO, it usually work. I prefer method number two, bounty hunters are usually dumping and then price moves up and down, you can really fill your bag with tokens.

I would not add more Fiat as I have enough coins and always leave some reserve for investing purposes.
But, in case I do not have enough ETH or BTC for investing   I would sell some of my altcoins
and invest into a perspective project and after making profit with the new investment buying back my altcoins
if they would be  still available.

It all depends on how I came to these losses, if it was an investment whose price had fallen dramatically, I would prefer to wait for at least some price recovery.
In my opinion, investing in thinking about this issue will cause more loss. First of all, you should get out of this psychology, and you should continue to invest as much as you can without worrying about it.

I think that before anything anything learning needs to be understood so that this situation does not recur in the future. Regarding the options, I would choose the second if I had my psychologist shaken. If I had confidence and patience the first option seems feasible, but there is more chance of losing and getting worse. In fact, it's not easy being a trader in the present times.

I am very interested in exchanging all the coins that I have in Bitcoin but I can't do it because besides coins still have the possibility of pumps, the price is very cheap while the types are too much so I will need a lot of money to do that while I will only get some satoshi, so I prefer to wait without doing anything
