Technically they are correct at some point as Bitcoin hasn't gone into a legality in the entire globe. I wouldn't really care much about them because Bitcoin has flourish all this years even thought this bias medias are spreading FUD everywhere calling Bitcoin "pyramid scheme" "Bubble" "scam" but they've proven nothing. They are only predicting which we all do to be honest. But If a person calls Bitcoin illegal in my face, then I would prove them wrong as we have our own local exchange and local stores that accepts Bitcoin legally here.
I say that bitcoin is not illegal. if you study the bitcoin you will see that no bitcoin is badly done for crypto and it is the updated cryptocurrency can be used to show the moment of the crypto. so gradually it is developed in different countries.
Personally, I do think there is only one principle when it comes to educating someone on anything and that is " the individual must listen to what you are teaching with unbiased approach" In other words the person must be a tabula rassa with regards to what you are teaching him/her.

Best way is to educate them. What I do is ask them why are they able to say that bitcoin is illegal, then I explain the basics and lastly is that I provide proof to them that bitcoin is not illegal. The way I see it is that they do not understand bitcoin and that may be the reason why they say it is illegal. It could also be because they became victim by scams before.
Actually before I will tell to anyone about bitcoin, I will emphasize to them first that bitcoin or crypto is not illegal. It just happens that there are some people who are using btc and crypto as front of their scam. But the btc and cryto itself is not illegal or scam at all.

Generally, people from investement and consuting business are very interested in crypricurency sphere. They can give good advices about it and also can make prediction about it's future, but nobody can say that they are crooks. The same thing with bitcoin. It's also currency, but in a new form.

When i heard something bad about bitcoin to someone i said to them that bitcoin is not a scam and i said to them bitcoin is make you rich and wealth to your life and i give them a advice and good idea about bitcoin.

Ill just say not to judge quickly for he/she has a lack of knowledge about bitcoin. I'll explain that the person should research more about the topic before getting into a conclusion.
i will ask him what gave him idea about and then i will educate him/her the fundamentals of bitcoin and blockchain and encourage them to dig deeper whats is it all about, thats the best thing that we can do as an individual,
bitcoin is a digital and real currency. there are still many countries that still have not legalized bitcoin the same as in my country but do not prohibit, there is even a government plan to legalize bitcoin.

In early days when I joined the bitcoin world I was also facing such thing, even my close friends were not ready to hear me, they were against bitcoin and were not ready to invest their money in bitcoin or to use it for online shopping etc, but later one they realize the bitcoin importance and now they have a good investment in bitcoin and are enjoying good profit from bitcoin investment. Still many things have changed since then and now it's needed to explain to the people that Bitcoin is not illegal although it's not regulated in every country and that can be legaly used as an investment, asset or payment method. I will respect their decisions if thats their point of view to bitcoin,but i would only try to explain what bitcoin helps anyone who get involves with bitcoin also,and how many of our mates do their testimony that through this bitcoin their life i Mu h better rhan before.
I am always to them softly and try my very best to answer their questions and ask them to listen to my explanation, by that way it may brighten their minds and maybe it will change the way they think about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. It is quite frustrating at times to try explaining what bitcoin is, not only to ordinary people, but even to those professionals and executives with computer background.
And with the news agencies bitter coating bitcoin, the fraudelent impression just keeps tainting the world of this digital cash black in confusion.
Perhaps the best way to introduce bitcoin is treat them to a nice restaurant that accepts bitcoin, announce with bravado to the waiter that you shall be paying with your bitcoin wallet. And once the bill has been paid, i'm sure your friends will ask you what bitcoin is? Then you simply answer, it's a digital cash. Surely, they will understand better. #winks
Anyone who still can not change his view of thinking that bitcoin is harmful or illegal despite all the developments across the world will remain in ignorance for a very long time. I think I will have to leave such a person to happenings around and give him constant reminder as events unfold. He will change his view at last.
