Superstars always color matches and help their team win games in times of difficult games. And when they leave there is always something to miss about them, the fan love, fans switching clubs, and most important the team losing top notch performance. Recently, Marquinhos made a statement that he misses the days of Mbappe in PSG. He's sure that their draw wouldn't have happened in the watch of a no "9" like him. Also PSG fans would feel the absence of Messi and Neymar's brilliant skills. On the other hand, Manchester United also should be missing those moments of CR7.

What is no longer there in your club after a certain key player was transferred?

Honestly Christian Ronaldo leaving Manchester United and going to Madrid made me to start supporting Real Madrid. When he Ronaldo came back to Manchester United and left again. Regardless of the situation I was so sad and I felt going to stop supporting clubs. I missed Ronaldo’s influence and impact ion the team. Another star player I missed so much was cavani. Made was so good and his short time in Manchester United made me love him so much, even with the worse state of the club

The same goes with the NBA. When Michael Jordan left the Bulls, I became a fan of another team because the player that I loved watching was not there anymore. When he went to the Washington Wizards, I was not even a fan of the Wizards but I do love watching their game just to see Jordan play again.

Superstars have that powerful effect on their fans and whatever it takes they will spare some time just to watch them play I think when they leave the team that you supported for a lot of years, a part of you will also leave that team and maybe look for another superstar that would make you have that urge to watch them over and over again.

I would say C. Ronaldo in Real Madrid but I doubt if he would be any better in current Madrid.
But last night match made me miss him especially in his prime.
It would be great seeing him play with Vini, but personally feel Real Madrid has gotten stronger

just a game how he works together with the team to score goals, and the celebration he makes when scoring goals
the rest if it's for the club I don't think there is any because as we know the club tries to find the best players from the best, if our idol is sold or transferred from the club just take it positively that our idol is no longer worthy of playing at the previous club

I think that it is impossible to answer the main question of the topic unequivocally, because some sports and betting fans watch the team's performances only because of one person, and if he leaves, then everything loses meaning for them.
Of course, we are talking only about big sports races. If a little-known player leaves the team, then most will not care.

At the initial time that the player left, there's a poor performance in the club in a few match but after which the club still bounce back to being strong, defensive and undefeated. Pulling out one or two superstar from a club can not just make the club to turn bad in all their competition.

There is always a moment lost when a star leaves the club and what he has given in terms of great contribution is something that is greatly missed, especially if the club is experiencing a fairly rapid decline when the mega star moves to another club or retires. Cristiano Ronaldo's departure from Real Madrid did not have a big effect because they are still quite strong at this time, except for Man United who might lose their mega star figure.

If we talk about PSG, it is also the same because they still dominate Ligue 1 and maybe they are still candidates for the title, but there is no big effect there or after Lionel Messi, Neymar and Mbappe left, especially in the Champions League because it is still the same.

I'm personally a big fan of local leagues and at least on the local level if someone is outstanding they will be picked up by scouts to go play to higher levels pretty fast. So the local "stars" are I think of equal level. I kinda like this though, because when entire teams build their whole setup to support a single scorer then things tend to be a little more predictable.

So all in all I'd say obsession with certain players isn't that great in my opinion. It's a worry I don't have to share with others thankfully for me.

Teams that have built the performance of their club around the superstar player they have, always suffer a setback in the team when the superstar player leaves the club. Although their astonishing contributions in matches can't be forgotten, and when it is no longer seen in the team, many football lovers begin to miss their fantastic input and output in the team that brought about the team's wonderful winnings when they have superstar players in their squad. However, no superstar likes to stay put in a particular team without being called up by a big club for a new deal contract for fantastic pay

You're right on point mate, but in every team there is always a superstar who has the highest goal, assist, most pass completion or make the most interception from the opponent and if such player leaves the team, the team always ends up moving toward the relegation zone except other players have average ability which might keep them in a steady state or even improve the performance of the team. There are instances where after the dispatchment of their key player the other players in the team, knowing  the task at hand, picks form instantly. However the most successful teams don't have just one key player, its almost assumed that 80 percent of their players are in good form.

What you miss about a superstar leaving your team?
Maybe I should say that I don't have a favorite club in the world of football, but I have star players that I like like Mbappe and Cristiano Ronaldo, even though they moved to other clubs, For me it's not a problem, I don't miss the club, what I miss is the stars, I used to be interested in supporting the club because there were stars in it, if the stars joined another club, of course I would miss the new club.

A gambler should not focus on one club, if we bet and if a star does not play due to illness or injury, of course this will affect our bet, In fact, I'm happy if the star doesn't play, maybe I can bet a large amount on another team, the club can't do anything, the player can change everything.

Nothing lasts forever
Certain players are key aspects of a team and without them it feels like a major pillar has been broken.
But with time, we get used to it and the team starts filling the gap. It doesn't mean that the team loses the hope to win.
The reason why it's called a team is because of each player's contribution and not one.

You will always miss those good days that the superstar helped the club to win their opponents, and the vacuum he left will still be there, only if there's a player that can cover up the vaccum within a short period of time. All superstars will always be missed if they leave the club. Some people are fans of these superstars, and if their favorite leaves the club, they might also abandon that club.

After C. Ronaldo left Real Madrid, Real Madrid still won Champions League. Also Real Madrid won La Liga.
When C. Ronaldo left Manchester United, they couldn't win UCL since then till date.

What is no longer there in your club after a certain key player was transferred?
it's a normal thing for fans to feel less connected to thier club when a certain player leaves the club , it's usually deficult to enjoy watching those games without those key players but overtime, we still get to find a replacement in the team that brings back the love you have for the team.

No player will stay in a team forever. You can only play for a particular numbers of seasons after which you get to exit and join another club. Observe that most real Madrid fans that supported the club because of Ronaldo are all supporting Al Nasir and if you also check the fan base of inter Miami, you will find a lot of messi supporters in those club. If iether Ronaldo, Messi or the both of them leaves inter Miami and Al Nasir, I can bet that the name of the club won't receive the kind of recognition it is currently getting. For the teams overall performance after a star player has left, the effect isn't always long term as long as the rest of the players are ready to play heartily for the club. Mbape left PSG and they are still doing well without him. Chelsea has done away with all the players that fans related well with in the early days of the club. That era has long gone and gradually fans have started getting used to the faces you will see in the Chelsea games. It's no longer the era of Lampard, drogba, Micheal obi or rudiger. It's the era of Cole Palmer and Jackson and they are all still fighting for the jersey.

As a core fan, players might come and go and in some seasons, they might underperform but the love will always remain intact.

What is no longer there in your club after a certain key player was transferred?
I think this can be shifted more to discuss it's effect on betting. That is, do gamblers bet more on a team after their super start player has left? Do odds increase or decrease..for example since Osimhen, a super Star left Napoli, have more players stop betting on them to win? Does anyone agree with me.

Some certain regions where the superstar's fans dwell wouldn't bet on the team once he's gone. Because the magic would be long gone for the gamblers and they'll not be sure of winning games in the absence of a remarkable player.

For instance, when Messi left Barca most people who loved his charisma stopped watching Barcelona matches and moved on to his next club. Probably, it affects how gamblers stake money, and naturally observing the strength, skill, and building of footballers is a criteria for gamers.

At my childly hood fancing Chelsea football club, it was attracted to the club because of Didia Drogba due to his energies to bring Victory to the team with his free kick skills potential to score goals on his free kicks.

I missed him on that remembering his time on football, his team has always left the chances of shooting the free kicks for him because he is good at that.

Even when some other teams have to play a free kick probably the point of kick is closer to the goal Post, you will hear Chelsea fans with the saying that... This is such opportunity that our player Drogba never misses to score the goals.
literally we call him the "King of free kicks". 😁

Oh, nice for Neymar, Messi, Mbappe and the like in PSG, they are big stars, people will miss them. It's normal for fans to miss their key plays after exiting the club, if not for the performance in the club, it could be the personal love of that player. I must confess I missed C. Ronaldo when he left Man U, and even how he was treated before the exit makes me dislike Erik ten Hag until today. You can see how the bond between fans and preferred stars could be strong and sentimental. Even when things are going fine in the club, the whole club might be boring to the fan just because his person is no longer there.
Ronaldo left Man Utd because he saw that he couldn't achieve anything good there and he couldn't find common ground with the coach, but before that he left Juventus and before that Real Madrid. I don't know why he wanted to leave Real Madrid, I think it's wrong to leave such a team when you're in your prime, but he did it. And now a player of such a high level plays in Saudi Arabia, for me it's also strange, but Messi also plays in America, not in Europe, so if you're the best player it doesn't mean you can only play in Europe.

I am not a very gambling person.

Therefore, I do not support any particular team or any "star player". I have a very pragmatic approach to all events that happen in the world of modern sports. The departure of a "star player" is just the departure of a "star player". I try to assess the situation objectively and try to understand - will this player's departure from the team really lead to a decrease in the team's chances of a successful game? Or will this player's departure not affect the team's prospects in any way?

Such an analysis is very important, since this information is directly related to my sports betting strategy. In any case, I prefer a realistic rather than an emotional approach.
I understand your point here. You won't have any side feeling for the departure of a start player from a team. What you are more concerned about is the performance of that team amidst his departure. Of course, that's what a gambler should be more concerned about because that is what will determine your action when you are betting on that particular team.

No doubt the departure of a star player is supposed to make a team's performance decline, however, it's not compulsory for it to be that way. It varies with the team, there are some clubs where his departure will not cause any decline in performance and the team will remain in their best performance.

It's either you are as a

a. fan of the team itself
b. fan of the player, so whenever he transfers that will be your team.

So I guess and I will speculate that most of us might fall in the category of b. We follow the player itself, and so if he moves to another team, then you will forget his original team. Of course you feel bad when someone leaves, but I guess that is the nature of sports though, it boils down to business and as fans we can't do anything about it.
