What will happen in the next 5 years? I think the society will adapt bitcoin and use it in many transaction. I believe that the bitcoin has a bright future. I think also that most of the government will legalize the bitcoin.
bitcoin is five years time in my opinion there will be a lot of hard forks from the original bitcoin blockchain and the value of bitcoin would increase by 300 percent today's price. if transaction's speed and price remains the same, bitcoin's not improving and maybe the price wont grow that much
I think bitcoins in 5 years will cost around $100000. Bitcoins mighy even have fought against a lot of competitors and hard forks for these 5 years. Maybe after those years, maybe bitcoins are not king of the cryptoworld anymore and eths might even be more expensive by then.
I think bitcoin will surge to about $500,000
I think in the next 5 years, bitcoin will have a much larger user from now on. The bitcoin technology in terms of security is definitely much more advanced from now on. because the price of bitcoin after 5 years ago will become x10 more expensive than the price right now because i expect that there will be more good things that will happen in the future.
According to bitcoin's continues increase of its rate, it will definitely last for more than 5 years! Nevertheless, we can't predict its outcome, but as we can see right now its stability and strength at the internet buzz feed is continue growing.

Well we've got 3 bitcoins so far... Just wondering how many of 'em we will have in 5 years. I think this does no good to BTC in general. As for altcoins, their diversity gives us a lot of opportunities)

If I'm going to base my answer through its market trends then I would safely expect it to reach around $40k dollars or more and that different system and services are added to sync with bitcoin payments as bitcoin become more acceptable and normal for everyone to use across the world.
In 5 years there will have been 50 or more new forks, hopefully the main Bitcoin core are still the king. The price will be massive. 100k or much more and then you can add all the fork coins prices on top of it. But who know, it can also be down to 10% of what it is now. But I doubt that.
Yeah It will happen because the bitcoin is now famous enough to have the profit and the earning and a lot of the people are buying a lot of the bitcoin so the bitcoin value and the price will increase more and the bitcoin will get the high value and the profit, I am earning in the bitcoin and the bitcoin is the source of the earning for me I can buy a lot of more bitcoin with the passage of the time.
In the next five years bitcoin will go higher than its price right now, im hoping it will become 100k$ in the next five more years from now. I will hold my bitcoin until that time comes but il monitor its price so that I can be able to exchange it when it starts to drop down.

Pretty much, bitcoin will remain the same. It is still volatile, but perhaps the only difference I see is the increase in it's price will be more than the increase now and the decrease in it's value will not be as low as we are experiencing now. Therefore, the range of it's volatility will most probably increase.
Five years from now of bitcoin, they said 2018 bitcoin becomes increasing in $10,000.....that is almost 2022 from now....bitcoin are getting higher as time goes. So if..... what do you expect for bitcoin on 2022?
In the 5 years, Bitcoin touches the new height in the Cryptocurrency market. Today I see the Bitcoin price $10k. B/w the two to three years ago Bitcoin price approximately $700 but at random the price rate increasing very high.
Bitcoin will still be a competitor for another 5 years because many people are investing in it. There will be new crypto currencies will emerge and management will have many update for the coming years so that bitcoinwill still be popular.
My hope against bitcoin after five years is going to be more famous than the past or the present, the more famous then it will be more and more are joining in the bitcoin. May also be increasing in value over time. Because sometimes the price of bitcoin rather suddenly, the possibility of itself up and down if many who joined prices will continue to rise. Hopefully future bitcoin's getting useful and beneficial for its users
I think after 5 years the bitcoin will probably change by 1 coin, more complete and techier than the current bitcoin. Bitcoins can not live in 5 years. I'm sure about that
That is a long way. No one can predict the future of bitcoin in five years. Technology has changed day by day. I can only predict in the near future. Bitcoin will be $ 15,000
In 2009, bitcoin was released as a no value cryptocurrency until it increases its value and today it was almost 10000 dollars. In eight years of existence, bitcoin made an unexpected increasing price. For today, bitcoin is increasing in almost every month so if bitcoin will be priced in five years, I think it will be 500% percent of today's price or more. Observing bitcoin price's behavior, it increases and decreases little by little but sometimes it boom too much and bust too much but still it recovers its price so I really expect that bitcoin will priced 500% of today's price or more as bitcoin reaches five years from now.
