Both are important, because if you don't have a big idea and a capital guaranteed that you will not b successful in business industry.

I agree with you, both are needed when starting a business. What's the use of having a capital without having a big idea or vice versa?  Business is no good without having those. They must be together inorder to succeed.

It's quite sad to admit - but in our community money(=marketing) decides the biggest part of the game...

What's more important when starting a business, Big Idea or Big Capital?

I think more important is big idea and skill cause even though we have big capital but do not have idea, skill and strategy in business hence result will be bad. But if we have idea we can start effort from small first. with diligence, patience and good strategy then the business will be great. something big starts from something small.
i think so, we should have a big idea to produce something big too, but capital is also a support factor that affects speed of a business's results. if you have both i'm sure the business we run will definitely grow rapidly

To be honest, the most important thing to start a business is CAPITAL. Not having enough capital can lead to bankruptcy. No matter how great the idea/concept on your business, without the money to operate, it will not work. Just like the previous invention that produces a lot of money, big companies give them materials and resources to work on their idea. Same thing goes for business.
Exactly. If you only have enough capital for your business, then i guess it would not cater to all of the materials or resources for a successful business. You should have a big capital and atleast big and brilliant ideas at the same time because it will really create a smooth, successfull and progressive business in the long run.
That's true because you have to had a bigger idea than your money. An idea is more powerful than money being wise enough with the most of those things will make you money without in needing of big capital. There are some people who had a lot of knowledge with no big amount of money but their skills brought them it to their positions in life now.

For me both big idea and big capital is very important in starting a business. Both have the most important role to be considered first, need to have bigger ideas on how to operate a business in order to become successful in the field that you are going to take. But there are also instances that some of the successful businessman started small and then through their effort and determination they become a big company and I guess that is all because of their brilliant ideas on how to make a way in order to become successful someday.

Big idea for a business endeavor always means a big capital is needed. A simple and small idea needs small capital. So if not yet ready as to capital you may trim your big idea to become simple and small. Your small business will eventually earn money and will give u income base on your effort. That is how small enterprises starts and eventually become Big.

What's more important when starting a business, Big Idea or Big Capital?

Both are important but when making a feasibility study, you cannot just determine immediately how much capital you needed if you don't have an idea what business you will be building so big idea comes first before big capital. If you cannot determine properly what are needed in the project and determining what market you are targeting then you cannot just immediately start the business and even if you have all the money in the world if it is a bad idea then it would fail. Big idea would come first then a big capital would be preferable than a small one.

In this process, creativity is not the most important part of the whole startup. The most important thing is to have a systematic methodology to get one thing done. Lean startup is a set of execution logic that guides how you can use the minimum cost and the fastest speed to verify entrepreneurial opportunities. His basic theory is the efficiency problem solved in management.

The biggest or the best idea will not help you with having a capital that advertised is not for you and it has come to mind its just means you can have a very good idea and then look for investors .what is the potential investors can also steal that idea .so I'm having no money to ask for a potent or trademark right on it .will not much that helps you opposed for it when its time to have a big capital all at the doors are open its early its hard yo say that I'm the first person to look for the great and then realize everything .

They are both good when entering on a certain business, big idea and big capital, because even you have a big capital but you don't know how to invest or what kind of business you want to invest. So it is better to have big idea and big capital.

Idea, capital, dedication, and the willingness to take risk when you're starting a business is what I think the most important factors to consider. Most businesses that even have big idea and capital tends to be on bankruptcy even just in short amount of time. And one more thing to consider is adaptation, I guess this is the most important one too just like what Nokia didn't do considering a contract on Microsoft on the recent years.

What is more important with starting a business is to have a big capital than to have a big idea. Having a big idea is good but without capital those ideas will be worthless cause you can't do anything without enough money to support what you want to do. If you have a a big capital you can do every thing that goes to your mind.

You are quite right. First you really have to big bucks to back up your idea. If you don't have the capital in the beginning, if will be very hard for your business to take off because it will be just confined to the budget that you just have.

If you have big capital, you can do marketing or have purchased a lot of things that you can offer to your clients. Instead of just a small capital that you need to just roll over days after days.

I am believe that if we want to start make bussiness, the most important thing is idea. With idea, we make plan and we make proposal that we can submitted to the bank to find capital. Many bussiness said that capital to start is easy to find if we are trusted person and have an idea how to make bussiness and run it

What's more important when starting a business, Big Idea or Big Capital?
You need to have both in tandem to be successful in a business, you need to have a good idea and a starting capital to be successful and you need to have the skills to convince others and market your product and a good team is always important for a successful business, that means that the people you hire in the beginning determines how long you will go in your business.

What's more important when starting a business, Big Idea or Big Capital?
For me I go with the big idea. Every thing is not all about the money. If you have big idea, it can easily create you an ocean of wealth. Have you ever seen business which has swallowed many millions yet still need more capital? That is because the business idea was a dumb idea. And that's how it will continue to swallow more money with no fruitful or no results. So you need an outstanding idea to make wealth.
