It is not readily accept everywhere yet. Until that happens you will see alot less people using it because it will be diluted an probably just end up fading away.
yes that is also a solid reason which compel people not to use bitcoin, and in some other reasons the fluctuation of the price of bitcoin the government attitude toward bitcoin, very little knowledge about bitcoin and the transaction delay are also some other issues which make people not to use bitcoin .

I think the price volatility, lots of incidents related to black market activities and many other anti-government activities are the major cause that's stopping people from using bitcoins.

I don't think BTC price volatility is the primary cause for not using it. But based on my knowledge as of now bitcoins are not accepted by many governments because they can't track the transactions and can't put taxes on to it so many businesses are not taking it as a payment method. Currently, bitcoins are used mostly in online gambling and for some limited online activities.
The price volatility of bitcoin is a concern for the merchants to accept bitcoin payments. When they are accepting bitcoin payments and if the price of bitcoin get lowered then they might incur losses. Also, the pending approvals from the government is a big concern for many people, and they are still waiting for any view from their government to start using bitcoins.
You are talking about only losses, but if you are accepting bitcoin payments then we are also having chances to multiply your money when bitcoin prices go up. If you are not ready to take this little risk then you should not adopt bitcoin payments. But, I agree price volatility might be a main concern for many people and still stopping them from using bitcoin.

I wonder why should people stop using bitcoins when we experience lots of benefits out of it. We do have countries which do not permit their citizens to use the btc. No worries on this. We do have an option to exchange the btc to fiat and use it for any expense.

To me it seems some people are not fully aware of what bitcoin is and what it can do to help our lives. The way bitcoin and crypto in general is developing makes me think that in a few years adoption will come and not a hand full but the masses will use bitcoin or find a way to integrate it in their daily life.

Suspicion is the main reason, people doubt in new things. Around me there is people who doesn't like internet, everything from there is evil they say. When I tell them about bitcoins they think its all from CIA, KGB or who knows whom, they start to imagine some conspiracy theories.
I believe majority in this world is like that, but with new generation's this situation will change. We have many young people here, and they aware of the future and technology.
New generations will take all this on higher level, for that we need to wait to happen.

For me the main reason people wouldn't use bitcoin is that it's not really prevalent enough to force people to switch away from cash. Not enough actual physical shops take bitcoin yet - at least not near where I live. Businesses accepting bitcoin is still the exception, not the norm. Until it becomes standard that a shop or business takes bitcoin, people won't switch in huge numbers. Another factor is definitely that people don't trust new technology - they feel a familiar security in owning a physical paper banknote, rather than a bitcoin wallet which has less of a physical, tangible aspect, even a physical hardware wallet.

One of the main reasons definitely is that there are too few merchants and shops which accept Bitcoin. Why should somebody "normal" use Bitcoin as payment option when it is hard to spend them?

There are in fact quite a bit sites where you can spend your coins online, and it's only spreading. However, the issue here is that people want to spend their coins locally in stores where they can buy their daily needs. I am quite sure that when local stores are adding Bitcoin as payment tool that much more people are willing to spend their coins.
Most of the people tend to not use bitcoin for the reason that they don't know about it and they aren't willing to learn about it. If the media is to help us publicize about bitcoin, then certainly there would be a surge in bitcoin users but they wouldn't do it unless there's any profitable story like from dirt-poor to billionaire status because of bitcoins.

Obviously.
Normal people (non-technical i mean) usually likes to use just the things that are available in their daily lives, why would they like to use something that is hardly spendable around them or if there is no place accepting it no one would take any interest in it.

Well that's the main reason now and we know about it. Each country is having hard time to adopt bitcoins especially the stores that they have in their places. But that is not going to be a problem in the future, once the government is going to implement the use of bitcoin, then local stores are going to be forced to use bitcoin.

Well you are right the government has a big role in bitcoin industry. If the government ban bitcoins in their country then that country's citizen will not use bitcoins.

Possibly if the government promotes the use of bitcoin there are no more hindrance to the increase of bitcoins economy.

And how you can define the government has a big role in bitcoin industry? ???maybe, if the government is ban bitcoin in their country, their civilians will always use bitcoin until the government included the activities is having relationships with bitcoin in the illegal activities listed.

We need more projects and sites to promote and incentive the use of bitcoin,
because if people don't know about it, the will not use it.

There are already a lot of websites for promoting it and the websites would only promote it to the people on internet, but we need bitcoin to spread in practical world because there are a lot of people who dont use internet or has no online activities so any practical bitcoin project would work great.
When some portion of people do not have access to Internet then bitcoin has nothing to do with them. Even for mobile payments you must have Internet access. So, the primary eligibility to adopt bitcoin, you must have Internet access. But I agree we need more projects to spread out bitcoin to more new people to make them adopt bitcoin system.
beside these there are so many other reasons which are stopping people from using bitcoin for example the knowledge about bitcoin as most of he people have no knowledge about bitcoin therefore they do not use it, th legalization problem as most of the countries have yet not legalize bitcoin some people are relucting to use it. in most of the area there are no such shops where people can use bitcoin for shopping.

Price volatility is the main reason why there are additional person uses bitcoin. Because of the price volatility in bitcoin, we have the opportunity to earn big.

Between the inside of volatility is having the advantages for who can exploit them for making a profit and there is another person who cannot exploit the volatility and then they never getting anything from them and choosing to surrender.

Hmzz, this is something often taking place and will continue to happen if there are people who have very high levels of giving up easily. In the economy there is no word of surrender which will win, that there is who hold the appeal and keep trying he was a winner and will be awarded the prize that is a terrific success.

The last month bitcoin price has stabled. I hope it will stay thst way or increase slowly without bubble building.
Without the big volatility it would attract even mor merchants!

Wrong. Big volatility can't attract the merchants. If that's so then why big merchants still not accepting bitcoin as mode of payment? There are lots of big fluctuations already happen since the began of bitcoin.

Also no such thing as price stable but rather slow increase and decrease.
