Personally every one will think that bitcoin is top most currency and no other currency can bit it. Also it’s not like that because of it’s price (current = 5.6k USD) is very high  but it’s also because of the way bitcoin is growing currently in the market. The growth rate is very faster as compared to other currencies in the market and even any other real asset in the stock exchanges. That’s why it’s number one and I’m sure only crypto lover will think this and not the the normal person. Lols.

Yes of course bit coin is the 1st one number as it is growing very fast and the value of bit coin is the highest as compare to all the remaining currencies prevailing in the market and is the reason of its attraction for the investors.

BTC is a currency. But a currency with limited use cases. You have our very own microeconomy here in the forum, you have some blackmarkets and dubious activities and some web sites. The Real bigo volume is on exchanges and speculation. So I would´t place it in a currency rank anywhere near the most important currencies in the world like dollar, pound, yen or euro. But crypto will get there as many countries will realized it´s full potencial. What we don´t know if the decentralized revolution will get mainstream or if the centralization will win.
Fair point. Surely for now dollar and euro matter a lot more for most of people than bitcoin. And indeed they have their advantages like fast transaction and its confirmation. However, if we are talking about the world of cryptocurrencies solely, bitcoin is #1 is we evaluate it by the price, market capitalization and trading volume. Despite that, we can use other criteria of forming top cryptocurrencies and bitcoin can appear not even close to the top in some case. For instance, if we make top cryptocurrencies in terms of their innovation, bitcoin will be far behind ethereum, waves, neo or iota, because they all offer something bitcoin doesn't.

Is it like #1 since it costs like ~$4000 for 1

I wouldn't put it like that. I would actually, instead, take a look at the market caps of both of the currencies that you are comparing. A lot of people who look at bitcoin as an investment also compare it to the Apple stock, which has the highest market cap. However, even though bitcoin is not just an investment but also a currency, I have not seen it compared to numerous fiat currencies because it's just not as versatile as they are right now. Once bitcoin has more support in the markets, then potentially it can be compared to the USD.

i don't get of what ranking you are referring to but to give you highlights when we are comparing to bitcoin and the dollar currency, the bitcoin total market capitalization is almost 100 billion while the total market capitalization of US dollar currency is almost 20 Trillion, so comparing bitcoin to US currency it is just 5 percent ratio meaning the bitcoin was just that small compared to US dollar. the bitcoin was just popular for the stock market and trading enthusiast, gamers, miners and online HYIP con artist, the rest bitcoin is still not popular to common citizens.

Every crypto currency is cheaper than bitcoin. Since it is first invented coin in the crypto currency market and it holds the highest market supply and value is more than you find the market place chart.
Now I noticed from yesterday onwards again bitcoin price started increasing in the chart. In terms of any fiat and digital currency, bitcoin is being hit the bitcoin price at the top of the list.

Actually, I have never seen any currency with such Bitcoin value. It surpasses all monetary limits and does not have any more valuable currency than it does, even though it originated in no other country.

In terms of value I guess its number one, but in terms of usage and popularity i think its not yet number one also, since there are so many against it, and there are so many issues that are connected in bitcoin. But maybe in the long run let us hope the usage will be number one.

The concept of a decentralized cryptocurrency without political borders can be challenging at first. Bitcoin forces us to adjust the way that we think about money and value transfer. Fortunately, the bitcoin community has been excellent at consolidating informational data through a loosely-integrated group of dedicated volunteers.

What currency? Knowing that theres a digital currency,e-currency,local fiat currency. Ranking? Then when it comes on digital currency then this would be on top spot and us bitcoin users do really know that stuff but yet it do only  be considered on that area since bitcoin cant still be considered to compete with fiat itself. Its not regulated then its normal to think off that it would takes time for it to be adopted even more.

what does that mean by in terms of currency ?
you mean what is Bitcoin ranking in terms of value with other currency ?
if you're asking that question,i think we should make it clear that Bitcoin is not a currency and only an online payment.
which mean it'll never be a currency,
indeed in terms of value,Bitcoin price is extremely high other than else or we called it the highest.
because it's globaly used by people while currency itself is not really that useable globaly(even though we can exchange it),
but it will never replace currency/fiat even though it's easily used by people.
at least for now i can not see it.
