In some points, smoking is not as bad as gambling but both of them are bad and they can affect anyone's lives.

If you are addicted into gambling, yep anything can be sold and be done to play the game but you can prevent it with the help of other people or relatives. You can say that cigarettes are cheap but the effects of it into our body are far worse compare to gambling addiction. Even in our country, cigarette prices doubled in the last 1-2 years I think and it can increase more in the next years which can help those who are addicted into cigarettes because they can't afford it anymore or maybe they can but they will lessen it because of lack of funds to buy.

Well you're right about that i didnt think that a person can do something like that because of addiction, that's why i think everything with addiction word in it is dangerous and will only give bad effects both itself or to others. I also know someone that because he can't control itself from gambling he bet he's own house just to play again because he thinks that he will win the next time he plays but that didnt happen in the end he regret he's action, and also i think alongside gambling addiction is cigarette addiction also.

In my opinion, the harm of addiction to cigarettes or from gambling should be measured only by the degree of danger to others and to your family. by taking ciggarette it can relieve your stress but in a bad way and wont also give you returns but in gambling it also ease your stress but you can get something in return if ever you got lucky but gambling cant give you a health disease as long as you control your self from not gambling too much but on cigartte no mater how you control your self from talking it , itll still give you some trace inside your body and the damage will only stock up overtime as long as you continue talking it . so my vote for worse addiction will still be cigarrite .

I think both of them have a bad side to health. But if asking who is worse between the two, I will answer gambling will have a greater negative effect on the mental health of players than cigars. These two could both ruin our lives without doing it in moderation. We are actually doing smoking and gambling for our own satisfaction but it could actually ruin things if we don't put limits to it. Addiction or too much consumption of anything could cause us harm. Gambling could only ruin us when we are not doing it for entertainment and if we're expecting too much from it. If we'll never know how to consume or do these two in moderation, we could lose our family, assets and even our health.

I agree with your point. Gambling gives an adrenaline rush, a thrill which cigar can never provide. You can turn out to be a winner in gambling but for cigar addiction, you've got nothing to win, just to lose on your health and eventually money.
Keeping the emotional point of view aside, gambling addiction can be more detrimental as compared to cigar's addiction w.r.t to the amount of money which can be lost.
Each cigar = constant cost for 10s of years followed by medical expenses after decades, whereas Gambling = Dynamic amount of money won/lost (mostly lose, that's why casinos are running and making money).

Being more of a practical person, I'd rather be addicted to cigars than gambling.

I liked the line that I bolded above. Yep, no one will win between those two options. Both are made worst on us but it all depends on the beholders/users. These addictions have a cure but what you are waiting for if you are one of those victims on this addiction. While at an early stage you can moderate your self and think about the future and good stuff if you can avoid this addiction. Its hard to move on if you have a miserable life.

Dont let those worst things happen to you in the end.I cant even imagine on living in a miserable life due to addiction.I fully agree
