After reading all the replies, I feel confident summarizing that the #1 problem of Bitcoin is probably lack of adoption.
And the main reasons of lack of adoption are probably ease of use and insufficient security.
We are a team of entrepreneurs and software developers that are going to spend the next following months-year on developing a new product.
One of the most appealing markets for us is the Bitcoin market.
We will try to learn us much as possible from your replies and try to tackle the problems head on.

Actually even,thats bitcoins is so being popular now in crryptocurrency world,maybe sometimes its not perfects and there are times we can struggle or face difficulties of this coins,and in my part the biggest problem that i encounter with bitcoin is this continously drops down its value in the exchange market,and when its dump its creates a biggest lossing in the digital currency system,and even the altcoins will also be affected.

My biggest problem of bitcoin is being so vulnerable to the FUDs and other rumors, it is a big problem for me because even though the news is not yet confirmed and even it is a bad news that is not a big deal then the market reacts to it and it puts the price into a dumping mode which is a very frustrating thing to see because you will lose money just because of a rumor.

My biggest problem with bitcoin is that it takes a long time to earn some money but also it takes a long time for the transaction times but i can't really complain because bitcoin is the best thing i've ever had.

As for me, the biggest problem of bitcoin is slow speed of transaction. It will be the collapse of bitcoin as currency in future.

my biggest problem with bitcoin is insecurity, though i have not had any issue with hackers and i hope and pray i don't have any issue but i have heard lots of people complain of their accounts getting hacked every now and then

Governments and central banks reaction to the coin has been of concern for the years of existence. the coin had been doing so well with acceptability by mere well meaning individuals until some reaction of countries governing bodies arose . However, we thought and talk so little of the governments' influence on the coin. If they had done nothing to regulate it, it would have done so well with it decentralized characteristics.

The never ending story of block size debate. Everytime the same sh**. While we argue with each other and slow down is progressing the network the banks start to get bigger devilish grin and will find ways to overtake us.

Yeah people who don't have the understanding about bitcoin regrets everything same as the time when a single pizza was bought for 10000 btc. This time people know about it but as everything is uncertain with bitcoin people have hesitation to invest much on bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

People always need fast transaction with bitcoin, even they can pay the higher amount for the transaction. But people should understand bitcoin is completely developed from scratch, to resolve minor problems it will take some time. Nowadays many people are showing interest towards bitcoin investment and people are not showing any interest towards altcoin investments.

Mi biggest problem with bitcoin has to do with transactions, the fees can be very high and the confirmation time can be very long even when you send a good fee, I hope segwit fixes those problems.

The biggest problem I encountered in bitcoin was it took too long to confirm in blockchain. I encountered this everytime I received a btc, it took more than 48 hours to confirm in my wallet. I dont know what to do then but I just waited to received in my wallet. So far, this is the biggest problem I encountered in bitcoin.

Exchanger, in my country not many exchangers that accepted bitcoin. I think this is difficult, because after we collect bitcoin cannot directly withdraw funds to my bank account.

For now, I do not have a problem with bitcoin. So far so good, especially fast transaction, fluctuation of the value, which is normal in stock market, etc. Maybe if I could encounter any problems in the future I will share it. Good thing is I already knew the major problem of bitcoin from the others at least I am aware now.

I think you just need to add authentication in the wallet that you use it really very safe. for 3 years I use bitcoin and put authentication in the wallet. during that time I have never hacked or stolen

If you have trust issue on your online wallet , Maybe Try to buy a Physical wallet , or try using paper wallet , The security will be high but if you make it wrong it is your fault like losing your wallet.

Maybe you can try to split your bitcoin into different wallets in order to have less casualties if your wallet has been hacked.

I also would suggest it is better to divide your bitcoin wallet into several, to avoid the risk of losing all of your bitcoin wallet if one day you hacked.

My advice use wallet providers who provide the private key from the wallet to you, blockchain I think one of the great online wallet. You need to remember to never save your bitcoin with large quantities in exchanger wallet with a long period of time, because in addition prone to hack the exchanger can also take away your money.
