It's bad practice to discuss money, religion & politics (that includes revealing your bitcoin wealth).

Never believed that are so many people that hold more than 100 bitcoins. My answer is: How is possible to find or mine so many bitcoins in such little lifetime of bitcoin? The only reason i find in that amount for them is that they were millionaires in fiat money and believed in bitcoin so much to buy big amount of it and store those in their wallet hoping that the price one day will go very high. I have few. Most of them bought and some earned.

Surely some are fake answers but I don't find it that hard to believe that a small percentage of voters have over 100 btcs, neither does that necessarily mean that any of them is a millionaire.

101 bitcoins at current prices equals to less than $23k.
Even if it was twice the value, it would still be something within reach of many middle class families.
A 2014 report estimated that one billion adults belonged to the middle class, with wealth anywhere between the range of $10,000-$100,000

Face it. People are poor. There is some serious stratification of society going on. Majority of so called middle class are people who live on credit. They have no spare money to invest in bitcoin.
They need to pay the loans, live expenses and taxes. If you have more than 100 bitcoin is is more likely that you were an early adopter than you bought it later with the aim of investing money in BTC.

Maybe the problem are not the money. Are the faith that all that people give to bitcoin. These amounts mentioned by you are not low amounts. And invest all those in bitcoin is a sign of big believe. Believe in bitcoin as a currency a believe in bitcoin as an asset of investment. I will not have gthe courage to invest so much money in such kind of investment.

I agree they are not low amounts, especially in developing countries.
People tend to invest more in what they understand and believe in.
I work in IT and personally know 5 people in the industry with over 100 btcs, they have good stable jobs but are far from being millionaires (with one exception and I think he has at least 700). They just really believe in the potential of bitcoin. Some of them bought way back when it was under $100.
All investments are a bet to some degree

Have you ever thought about that the users might not give an honest answer? I myself would never give any informations about how much of what I own.People here maybe just giving wishful answers just to troll that poll.
And why is it so important to know how many Bitcoin someone is having? I really don't get it.

That's true. Maybe people lie. I haven't mind that. But having in mind that the answer is anonymous I thought that there are not reason to lie. Maybe I'm wrong. It is not important to know how many bitcoin the people hold. It might be a simple curiosity.

I wouldn't tell anyone how much Bitcoins do i have. Once you say that in a post or thread that you have xxx amount of coins you will be spammed heavily and hackers might target you.(Send you link or file with viruses etc..) That's why there's a poll to give anonymous answer.   Cool

Yes, hackers can target much more the people when they know exactly how many coins they have. That's why the best thing to do is to own a Trezor or to own a second computer just for crypto movements. Even if you don't brag, having any one of those two is very smart thing to do. This can be some older computer as well. Then they can send you as many links as they wish. Smiley

the cheapest way is to make a live linux on a USB disk and install a wallet on there and keep your coins there. or if you can , creating a paper wallet is a good cheep way

Due to the anonymous nature of the internet, more ppl would feel comfortable to honestly tell how much btc they own...

yeah I know, that it is tempting to reveal your cards and thinks, that there is no risk or privacy breach possibility, because "we are on internet".

I can assure you, that the web (for majority of non-tech users), is not anonymous any-more and even somebody with average "google skills" can find literally everything about you..(not you personally, but speaking generally)

Completly agree on this one...

Good point made... The amount of BTC I'm holding is nothing te brag about or to become a victim of hackers...
But I can imagine this beeing a problem for bigger wallet holders...
