I think that online gambling seems to be growing since the virus outbreak, and the number of good casinos featuring crypto seems to be also growing...
I like EOS, I have chosen it at first because my favourite gambling site was dealing a lot with EOS and after using it is fast, no issued, and the site feature of proven fair gambling by using EOS hash is great

I have different accounts that I use and each and everyone of them have different crypto currencies in it that I use to gamble. Litecoin, Dogecoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin, Ripple and even EOS. I don't really have a favorite since I don't mind using them. I want to gamble, then I do. If that happens nothing is my favorite except enjoying my time gambling.

Well, on my own it does not matter how many varieties of crypto coins to use. As long as what I have, if I don't have dogecoin and only bitcoin that I have, --why I am looking for the coins that I don't have. That is simple logic, use only of what you have. Altcoins are very common in the gambling industry, even tron and eos can use in dapp for gambling by their smart contract.

Well, I think it is also good to OP if this thread also includes a poll to vote that give us satisfaction with the outcomes.

But I greatly dislike the high fees and slow transaction throughput on the ETH blockchain. I have tested both TRON and EOS, and they're far superior than ETH in this sense. While they're not as decentralized as ETH, they certainly provide convenience to everyday gamblers like you and me.

if you're comfortable having your money secured by DPOS, then go for it. i'm not so fond of holding currencies like TRX and EOS---it's just not safe. DPOS=plutocracy.

we've seen some DPOS consensus disasters before. just a few months ago, big exchanges colluded to take over the STEEM network. https://twitter.com/vitalikbuterin/status/1234522463129800709

i don't constantly deposit/withdraw nor do i feel that hampered by fees so i have no need for altcoins re gambling. bitcoin is still the ideal for me, because it's what i actually want to hold and get paid out in.

What's your favorite crypto for gambling? Why did you choose it? Do you think the decentralized gambling industry will grow now that crypto is becoming more popular due to COVID-19? Or is it still too early to tell? Huh

I have four in mind these are Doge, Ethereum, Tron and Eos these four all has the same features fast cheap and with a good value in the market and about decentralized gambling industry they are now gaining popularity because of the current situation we have now a large numbers of online gambling and all vying for a big share in the market.

I mostly use bitcoin for playing gambling but if I had to use altcoins I will prefer Ethereum or dogecoin. I rarely used Tron or EoS and also it is not supported by all the gambling sites. As bitcoin will become more expensive, people will more use altcoins for the gambling.

If I gamble for fun, I gamble with Dogecoin. There will be no feel of guilt or regret if I lose because I'm doing it for fun. I can say that it's my favorite crypto just for gambling and if I gets serious, bitcoin is the choice.
I will mention LTC too, it's a good coin to use for gambling for fun.

What do you mean gambling for fun? And how could you differentiate playing with fun vs playing seriously? lol Grin
To have fun, to enjoy, for entertainment and ok to lose some.
Serious, to earn some.

I mainly gamble on casino sites that don't yet accept cryptos, but if I do play on crypto casino's such as stake, I always use dogecoin. Fast transactions and low fees. Never used another crypto mainly because of the fees.

Indeed, but with the volatility, some still prefer using Bitcoin as their main currency in crypto gambling platforms. Those users whom preferred Bitcoin either often had a lot of holdings in the platform they gamble so they didn't bother any fees at all or either they were simply love gambling and play in it constantly, and insist to let those platform hold their cryptos than to withdraw then deposit again.

Yes, Dogecoin's low fees really are for those whom just want to play now withdraw later or should we rather say those users whom play only for their spare time just to have some fun after their works or stuffs. And I think the serious gambling is when a gambler gambles everyday for money making.. right? If I am, dogecoin can still be an option. TBH, any crypto will do as it would have same amount if exchanged to your local fiat.

I dont have a favorite choice for the type of coin I use to gamble, but I have used ethereum on many occasion even though the transaction cost are relatively high. I have to pay a transaction fee of 0.005 for one deposit because I have to withdraw it from the exchange.

So far the doge is quite cheap in terms of cost of only 5 doge per transaction but I am not interested in doge. EOS is the same. Besides ethereum, Bitcoin I also like LTC for gambling need.

I keep a lot of coins, but my favorites for gambling are doge, ltc and eth because of the low fees, instead when I can convert everything to BTC to accumulate
It's true. Using other cryptocurrencies besides bitcoin is much better because they are cheaper and faster when you are withdrawing and depositing your funds, that is why I mostly used ETH when I play in any crypto gambling because I could also use my winnings as an investment, and sometimes I convert my winnings into bitcoin.

in my opinion it is the best strategy to maximize earnings, pay less fees and be much faster in transferring funds, so everyone is free to use btc too but they would pay much more fees. obviously personal opinion

My favorite is XRP! low fees and instant transactions are the best! Usually when I got bad beat on my game and lose all of my balance in the website then, XRP is the way to deposit and receive it in an instant! So the momentum will not stop and I can still play until I am satisfied. Bitcoin is very slow and the fees are high, so yeah, my favorite is XRP. And if XRP is not available then, I will use ETH  Grin

From the first time playing crypto gambling to now, always choose Bitcoin as a favorite crypto gambling, the reason being that Bitcoin
is the most popular crypto. So it's easy if we want to move to other gambling sites. And decentralized gambling industry will develop
more rapidly in a pandemic situation like now. Because some peoples are still afraid to play in traditional casinos, so they prefer to
play gambling online.

I like to gamble with Doge coins, they are cheap, you can claim faucets and make enough for week to have for gambling.
Gambling is risky, and I don't like to risk Bitcoins and Ethereums, or any of my other long-term investments. Doge is great
because transactions are very cheap, and fast. I gambled with some other cheap coins, but Doge is my favorite!

I am using my Ethereum right now and some satoshis.

I shouldn't because there are the predictions that it will be having a good price in the upcoming 2.0 but still, I can't really use my Bitcoin right now because I want to save it. That is why I usually just use some of the satoshis I can get from the faucets and if I think I am not done gambling, I would be using some of my ETH.

I'll stick to my favorite gambling sites out there instead of switching to decentralized online casinos. Right now, I don't have any idea on which reputable sites are "decentralized," or maybe I'm just missing out on something.

I still love to gamble with Bitcoin because it's the most accepted one, as you said, and it has the highest value when winning. I think that everything is the same. The risk, site, etc., but the amount you are going to win is going to be higher when you evaluate it.

I do think that people are transitioning to online gambling as well. It's just a matter of time that more people are going to register on good sites. Maybe a useful resource link would help make the case on that. Hmm.
