In gambling, there's nothing wrong about using various cryptocurrencies to bet, as long as you are winning and getting more than the amount of your funds. That's why, whenever I receive a funds from a gambling site by promoting the page through reviews, or using their faucet, I use the cryptocurrency that I get and don't bother converting it to bitcoin as I think that I can get the same excitement since I can always convert it in the end. Yeah it doesn't matter for me, we should focus on our strategies first before even bothering the cryptocurreny that we are using when we gamble. Probably that most of the major online gambling sites are accepting bitcoin as deposit so btc is the only crypto that I using whenever I gamble. There are people saying that depositing through altcoins are more cheap because of the lesser fee but for me it doesn't matter because what is matter is if we are making money from gambling or not.

I have used a lot bitcoin for my betting games when DirectBet was online. For sure I have spent a lot of money in fees, (Around 10k satoshi for each bet, hundreds of bet). But it was ok since I have contributed to the whole project providing an economy support for miners.

Yeah directbet was great as there was no account hassle and all but now a days it is hard for anyone to make transaction for every bet as the fees are quite significant now for quicker confirmations and while I like the idea of supporting miners but fees are pretty high now as compared to when directb.eu was operational so I doubt if people would have preferred to pay fees per /bet transaction now.This has been my contribution, a small one, but even a contribution.

I agree dogecoin was so nice back in the days but I actually prefer to bet with tron now a days because of it's almost zero fees transactions and quick confirmations and more because sportsbet.io and stake accepts it.

And converting it also makes the value so low, I remember recently stake added EOS and they gave away some free coins and I was so excited like hey i got around 1-2 EOS for free but then the actual value is not so big in bitcoins so yeah it feels better to not convert coins into btc unless you managed to win big and then convert it. I mean betting with 500 doge coins feels much better than betting with 0.0002 btc while both means same basically.

Using other cryptocurrencies are fun too. But it depends if you are winning in a certain gambling platforms using different coins.
I also use BTC and ETH in my gambling career but I also invested in using other coins such as Dash and NEM. Although they are not that popular like the first two coins, but still it can give you profit when you use them. Bitcoin have the highest value among those other cryptocurrency that's why i prioritize using it, and at the same time i never forget to utilize altcoins in a certain gambling platform. We have different preferences on what coin are we going to use but always remember that altcoins can bring profits too.
Whatever altcoin a casino takes is my pick when Bitcoin fees become absurdly high. ETH's fine but trying to get it converted to BTC takes a lot off my winnings through fees.

It is very difficult to tell because all crypto holdings that are listed in top are good. So probably if you are holdng crypto like btc then using it for betting will be preferred. However, Doge coin is one good coin also for betting due to its cheap market price per coin and it will be easy for one to bet rather than using crypto with a lot of zero after the decimal point when betting. For now, doge is one establish cheap crypto and good also for holding it. However, most online casino for now only accept btc and ethereum. If I stop gambling I transfer them back to BTC.

Me too, since most of the casinos right now have bitcoin adaptation I just use them to gamble. I don't look for any coin to play on the website, if they got bitcoin then imma go with it. But then transferring bitcoin sometimes is expensive, this might be the top disadvantage of using bitcoin in some instances. When it does expensive, I just switch to ethereum so I'd pay less fee than doing it with bitcoin. The fee whenever we send with bitcoin sometimes it goes as high as $1 but most of the time it's about a centavo so that's not really hurting our pockets with the fees. Ethereum lately has a huge fee because of huge transaction volume and it was said due to the Forsage scam craze.Dogecoin and LTC are good alternative options if you find the fee for those cryptos you use goes up.

There are time when Doge dominates the gambling industry years back because of cheaper fees.
and also XRP is one of the growing currency for Gamblers.

You can try to use litecoin if you want to reduce the fee of the deposit because comparing to bitcoin and ethereum, the fee to make a transaction using litecoin is not too high. I think litecoin is available on many gambling sites because the gambling site knows that litecoin will suit for the gambler to deposit. Besides that, you can use dogecoin, but sometimes, if you send the dogecoin from the exchanges, you need to pay such a high amount, but that still worth it because the dogecoin price is not too expensive.

I prefer to just use bitcoin because it makes it easier for me to withdraw directly from the casino to my wallet and then look for someone to switch to paypal, using altcoins could also be a good option, but as I am used to bitcoin and I trust bitcoin so I don't intend to change that so early. ^ The reason is bitcoin has wide use and that is why also prefer using bitcoin than other altcoins which are I don't have (If I have I don't use my bitcoin).So bitcoin for me is very common and the fact that even the fees are quite high people are still using bitcoin because of the said that it is has a fast transaction feed. Nevertheless, if there's someone who is willing to give altcoins for you to use in gambling, probably I will choose dogecoin and litecoin. They are good alternative that usually used in gambling in behalf of bitcoin.
