In the beginning when I started investing in bitcoins I was afraid that the prices could drop over night and make my holdings worthless, but I have been around for years now and know that the even when prices drop, they will just recover in a few weeks. My main fear in crypto currencies these days is that the government could try to fight them, either by outright banning them and make crypto currency transaction illegal. Another form to fight the rise in cryptos could be to increase taxation. I know this doesn't seem very likely at the moment and should be more of a long term trend.

Fear is normal. crypto market itself is very risky. not only altcoins but bitcoin as well. I remember how the price dropped from 20k usd till 6k usd then 3k usd in very short time. The important thing in crypto market is to be able to realize your profits in correct time.

Another thing that could cause fear is if cryptocurrency will survive, now it's been erased since 2017, every God damn companies and personal that talked shit about crypto are now supporting the technology minus Jack Ma ( Alibaba ) who never for once say any shit about crypto and still believes it's the future money

It's a known fact that the cryptocurrency market is quite risky and this risk is more pronounced with the new cryptocurrency projects. Several developers enter into the market without a full grasp of how the market works. A large number of new projects gets abandoned after a few months and this could be very discouraging.

In the crypto world, there should be no room of fearing and doubting. Because risk taking is included when we try on any project within crypto so a practical strategy to avoid wasting effort is to be careful and not immediately enter into an uncertain project.

Well in my opinion the fears that many people see in cryptocurrency are mainly has something to do with their lack of knowledge with Bitcoin, blockchain, and cryptocurrency in general. It is not really fear but basically, their hesitation in investing their money to these coins because they do not have anything that could back up that coin and sometimes their "laziness" in trying to find the information for them would also point as a reason for their fear. But also, to be fair, the crypto ecosystem is very very huge. Information overload is always a commonplace thing that they experience, and also many scams and shenanigans are happening in the forums and the campaigns.

My biggest fear is for newbies to be hyped on those projects without doing any research first. They bought because someone said to them it's good but at the time when they buy it's on a high price. If they're lucky that the coin will pump more then I hope they take profit quickly. But what if the opposite happens, they bought late then hodl it for a long time hoping for that coin to rise again.

my fears on new crypto, most of the new cryptos are not going through the ieo phase. look at the recent ieo on this forum, they didn't even went through and then even though they passed that phase when they listed their coins in exchange it would worth nothing, because the devs itself dont even care after that. if devs really care about the projet after listed on exchanges then it would be fucking great
Actually Ieo can be a good opportunity, but choose a large and trusted exchange, and immediately let go when you make a profit because Ieo is not good enough in the long run. always take advantage of first-day trading, usually, the profits increase there.
new coins or tokens are riskier, if in doubt better leave. choose the really strong with the support of potential partners.

Some dev is only concern on money and disregard the investors.
Thats why projects are failing to have worth and became worthless.
This scenario is one of the fear that I dont want to experience again.
Time and effort will be wasted if you follow/invest in this kind of project.

In the past years in this cryptocurrency project many of has experienced had I know especially me because of some cryptocurrency project I missed to participate because of fear and doubt, as a person if you begin to look at the risk and what you have lost in the digital world you Will never get yourself involve in new crypto currency forgetting that life itself is a risk. What then is your fear in crypto?
If we especifically talk about current trends especially defi i have completely distant myself from them, yes i do look into if a top serious project comes up but their have been too many scam and fake projects recently which has also just killed this booming trend. The scammers just damaged the trend and now no one is investing even one cent in new defi projects.
This will only change if we have a screening process or atleast somehow we can only invest in top quality projects and ignore low quality projects.

Two major things that can make fear in new cryptocurrency are 1. Registering with fake project or shit coin that than hack you wallet/account.
2. Cryptocurrency that may not deliver reward.
There are ways around it.
1.Identify with project with reliable reputation.
2.find your way out of any suspicious account demand.
If the reward is not delivered, it's still ok. You will bear it as a waste of time and energy and move forward.

There should be no place for fear or other emotions. A pragmatic approach and thoughtful risk management is a constructive way to develop in the crypto world, it seems to me

Mostly new cryptocurrency suddenly drop down after putting it into the market and sometimes could not recover . So, it's fear to invest in a project that you didn't learn first before investing. But if the team behind the project is supportive then there's nothing to be fear because there is a huge possibility that the project will become successful.

Considering that market has a lot of projects to be offer, many are good but some are not. So my only fear which I really don't wanna experience is that being deceived or fooled by a scam projects. But through this we have a lot of things that can be considered to avoid getting scam, and always take a risk but we just need to take a long time digging about the project when where up to.
As long as you are too knowledgeable about what you are doing, it is hard for you to lose your own money. There are actually lots of things you can consider to avoid that. There are indeed lots of scam projects that are rising but if you are too cautious about it, I think you can actually recognize what is good and what is bad for your money. Being well-informed is important.
Knowledge is always a necessity if we are talking about money especially investment, We can't just throw some money because we are invited to do or ask to. Scam projects do appear every time and most of it offers too good to be true returns, That is the first sign that you are dealing with a dangerous project. As we know DeFi projects are well hyped now and there are many Defi projects that offer a product that shouldn't have any value at all but still, people are attracted to it because of the hype it gives and the possible profit they can get from it. This is the reason that I realized that it's just the profit that drives people from investing in projects even if it is worthless.

I have this belief that it's difficult to excel in this space without making some mistakes. I'll say, it's better we see our mistakes as the necessary experience which are to guide us through the process of getting to understand the cryptocurrency industry. In fact, it's only a mistake, if we don't learn from the experience.
