I dont understand why you would bring your guns onto an airplane. you wouldnt even be allowed so once you get stuck in alaska you and the gun hater are on the same level.

You should probably be aware of FAA regulations, or simply talk to some Alaskan bush pilots (the ones most likely to be flying you in a survivable crash in a landing zone you'd need to hunt to survive in, pending rescue after EPIRB/comms/etc. failure) like Ariel Tweto, before you choose to believe disinformation like that.

Haven't gun related deaths passed car related deaths? Thought I saw something like that recently. And no one wants to ban cars. True. But rather regulate their use and production. Make sure they have seat belts, better brakes, airbags, etc. Deaths dropped a lot because of these since they were implemented.

Sometimes I wonder where Obama really stands. He expresses formally that he wants gun control. He even makes laws that move towards the gun control idea somewhat. But all this does is to scare people so that they get more and bigger and more powerful guns. Didn't he know that this would happen if he made all this anti-gun ruckus?

Yeah definitely true. Most legal gun owners are the ones who obeys the law because they can't get the permit if the authority doesn't investigate to them before giving them the rights to bring guns.

And most lawful owners don't need a permit. But they get one anyway, because they don't know how to answer government when government comes after them legally.

The number of gun owners, both lawful and unlawful and in between, who use guns for some criminal activity is probably one in a thousand, or even much less.

That's in the USA. I would think in places like UK and France, it would be much different. Of course that's not considering the huge number of people who report "I have no guns" who actually have the secret family cache buried closeby....

It's true, using guns against people is so bad and goverment in many countries understand it. But in other countries that allows guns i think will be a lot of incidents anyway.
