29 post with 100% of accuracy, most of my reports come from bitcoin discussion where some bots published products or pages unrelated with bitcoin.
but they're far less frequent than some of the top reporters (having a few thousand reports and reporting accuracy of over 95% is excellent).

I'd imagine there are people with even higher numbers (shorena for example, would be curious about where he currently stands), but I think 5k is a good start

There used to be a lot of spam in the offtopic section (not sure if there still is).
Mainly the bitcoin marketplace and the beginners&help section normally have the greatest amount of spam.
Any posts that break "the rules" of the forum should be reported, good ideas are:
1. Posts off-topic from the original post.
2. Post with referral links.
3. Bumps more than once a day (either as a post written as a plain "bump" or as making more than one announcement in the same day on a certain product/service to bump it that way).
4. Some obvious scams are also being picked up as well (ponzis for example).

That was from a member who was abusive and said I should leave the forum because I support core, and because I block unlimited and XT nodes. I didn't receive a reply, so I don't know if that was considered a valid reason for reporting a post. Imho. it's attitudes like that that reduce the popularity of this forum, and allow the hard-skinned spammers to dominate, and that is why I reported the post.
Click report on any random post again and if the accuracy is at 0, that means your report was not considered valid and if its at 100 it was handled.Although I have to say one instance of such post is not likely to be removed

That's good! That means they thought their post was worthy of deleting and that you had made a contribution to this forum yourself.
(also, the mods only see reported posts when you hit the button next to the text field).

Actually moderators are more proactively reomving scams (such as onzischemes) whenever they arise now and have more power to act.
It is true that it's difficult to know, better to use your own judgement to decide whether you think it is scam or not.

It seems there were recently some changes made on profiles (I'm talking about the added link to topics started).Might be a nice little addition to the general stats page, maybe below the total time logged in.
Haven't reached shorenas latest number yet (10382 currently over here), so they're still in the lead.
Moderators are deleting obvious scams.
I think shorena's is probably higher than that by now.
Finally got to the overall report of 1000 (Nothing special since I only report easy stuff on my free time)
Congrats on reaching 1000 posts with 100% accuracy .I am not actively reporting but i am still at 177 posts with 98% accuracy,if i see some dumb post in my free time i will report and will reach double century in a couple of months. Code:

My rate as of now is only about 75%. I guess one of the reasons that it is not as high as some of you that have posted before me is that I am relatively strict in the way I perceive posts, I believe. That means my own line of thinking does not reflect the stance of moderators to a degree of more than my 75%. And I am fine with that. We all have our own perception, and we should respect each other's decisions and come to a rational conclusion. Overall I am relatively satisfied with the way Bitcointalk is moderated, and it definitely doesn't appear to be an easy job to do this well.
