Hello fredeq, I write to you to know if you can lend me some help with a subject I have, you see I am creating a website and for a column I need to calculate the benefit of mining 3 coins in particular, I need to know what formulas you apply to calculate the benefit of these currencies: RavenCoin (RVN), EtherumClassic (ETC) and Ergo (ERG). Being the person behind the whattomine website I thought it would be a good idea to come to you, but if you do not want or can not share such information do not worry, I will understand, anyway thank you.

New feature available for registered users - currency selection.
At the moment all rates are calculated from BTC USD price.

Accounts are free to register and use.

There are no gpu jsons indeed.

The data from other endpoints should be enough.

I wanted to get the cards hashrate by algo ( as in the link). how could I get that info by using the other endpoints?

thanks

Hi there,
I was checking the json APIs and I noticed there is none for the gpus (i.e., https://whattomine.com/gpus/49-nvidia-geforce-rtx-3090.json?cost=0.1) while there are for the coins.
am I missing something or is that intended?

thanks for the amazing service!

Hi there,

I'm new to mining.
I'm trying to understand the profit column on Whattomine.
For Ethereum, it says $6.09 in profit per 24 hour period.
How is that calculated?
If a miner can get 2.97 GH/s by mining Ethereum, they are making $400/day.
In this particular case, unless this miner is paying $393.91 in expenses/day they are making way more than $6.09/day.

So where does this $6.09 figure come from?
What am I missing?

Thanks.

It comes from the hashrate you calculate with.
Defaults on wtm calculate with 90Mh/s, not 2970Mh/s. Feel free to input your own.

I like the website, but is there any way to customize to remove Nicehash from the results table?
You can't unselect it from the "Selected Exchanges" window.  Other exchanges like Binance, Bittrex, etc are all selectable and can be removed, but Nicehash can not be removed.

Nicehash rows are more like coin entries than exchanges.
We will be adding more settings to the accounts and NH config should also be there.

Its now possible to create your own GPU with custom values and reuse them with datasets.
New feature is account based and shared between devices.

Datasets for now stay cookie (machine) based.

Hi fredeq, did contact you in Discord too. Is everything ok?

Everything is fine, created coin addition request but it has to be researched first.

Strange, nothing in the email. Try maybe one more time or paste it on discord.

First - I want to say this is an AMAZING website... I love it. I use it all the time.

Second, I'd like to provide a suggestion: Is it possible to rename "Ethash4G" to "Etchash"? Technically it is called EtcHash. Source: github com / eth-classic / etchash (no spaces)

Ethash4G is a hybrid group for all ethash-like coins with dag under 4gb

Thanks Smiley
