When the market was saturated and my favorite altcoin was tending to fall it was time to buy it. Or wait for btc to increase it will cause other altcoin to fall and now we should buy the altcoin that we are want.

I guess the term : Buy low, Sell high still works good for me, just do that and you will be fine making small profits every single day.

If you are holding bitcoin and your not trading altcoin. Bitcoins are really obvious that bitcoin can be increase more or can be drop it will depends in trends and news since bitcoin was develop by every country and improving the use of bitcoin and more people are discover bitcoin so obvious that bitcoin can be increase more and more.. but bitcoin is volatile and unpredictable because there are group of people who can manipulate the price so it will depends in your decision if when you wanted to sell your bitcoin but make sure that you made profit but if not just hold it  and wait for a long time because bitcoin can be increase more because more people are knowing about bitcoin daily..

For altcoin i think it would be hard to know when to buy but the basic thing you should do is to buy low and sell them if the price is high..
So that you can make a profit before that altcoin turn into no value or there are times that in the future the price can be burst increase just like what happen in ethereum or  litecoin or even monero its been a long time to see the price bursting of those altcoin and now it is in good rankings in coinmarketcap,

I just buy bitcoin when I have got spare money into my bank account. Yes off course the buying process starts at the lowest possible prices but it is also important that one should buy it when they have sufficient money after the daily need calculations.

The buy low sell high us the formula of whole universe so it's not really big concern to ask when we buy really. I'm always keeping my investment distributed over the big period of time because that gives me lot of window really and it's easy to cover the profits or more precisely return of investment later on if the prices fall too much really.

Also, I have set up my mind that now I should be buying the bitcoin when the prices drop due to bad news in the market regarding bitcoin when it goes really down. As I'm sure that it will come back again. So many factors to be considered really.

I see a lot of people talking about when to sell; but I think that buying is as important if not more (obviously you buy* low -_-). so do you guys aim to buy the lowest low of the day/week/month/... and do you think that is riskier and/or hard to predict. do you wait for price reversals? do you follow expert advice?? please share your thoughts and your stories (successful or otherwise Smiley)

Hi there! I have always believed that you rely on a heavy and accurate data since having a stable database will help predict the future. (Let us not go too literal about this though.) This move will help you decide on key matters relating to your question as to when it is best to buy. However, should you have no data about Bitcoins yet because of its thin study as of writing, gambling it by taking risks will help you get wiser in the long run. Just that do not lay all your cards, otherwise, when situations get crazy, you will not be left with nothing.

I'm far from an expert trader so I kinda have to resort to educated guesses. I'm a cautious player on the cryptomarket and wait for certain situations to make a move. One of those 'certain situations' is now; the next hardfork of BTC is approaching and altcoins are gradually losing ground relative to Bitcoin, so my plan is to gradually scoop up some relative cheap alts here and there. Ofcourse, this strategy doesn't guarantee a profit and might backfire seriously.
I ignore ups and downs on a weekly basis as I'm not a day-trader (not enough time and experience)

That's a decision. When to buy and when to sell. Often I look at the news and if I have bad news I sell my bitcoins soon enough. So when the bitcoins have fallen I can buy it at the bottom of it that it's hard to really guess. So I get support for the prophecies of the experts and sometimes it comes true. So what you need here is knowledge and instinc to be successful in the field of bitcoins

Always aim to buy low, I use graphs to give me an idea of the price fluctuations and then check news to make sure there's no alarming reason as to why the price is currently low. If all looks good then I buy.

I been doing trading myself without any direct advice from experts but checking myself and doing numbers, I check yearly prices advantages and dis-advantages, because not only supply and demand makes the bitcoin prices lower but political and society changes by saying this, Buying at least 5% less than the annual best last price is always a good way to buy.

the most important thing that you need to do is :
Buy low and Sell it high

when is the right time to buy it or sell it ?
it's all depend on the trader situation and strategy.
you can not follow other traders because they have their own capacity.
basically you will understand it when is the right time to 'buy' or 'sell' after you do it by yourself.
what i mean is,try to find out what is the best for you and your financial by doing it individually.
try to make some strategy using a small of your money for a week.
back then i tried to figure out what is the best method and way to do trade,
and i burned a lot of money in the process just to figure out what is the most comfortable one,
plus the way to hold and calm your mind.
you should understand and know how to control your emotion, because no matter what and how good your strategy,
if you can not control your emotion, you will get burned by shiller and fudder.
never believe what they say, always do your own research.
Cryptocurrency is UNPREDICTABLE

lastly,
buy on rumour and sell it on news

Depends on the situation, a 7-14 day lowest would be a good time to buy but try to check if its already over sold, check the reason why the price is dropping. if you plan to buy today because its the red days and price continue to drop, I suggest to wait for a little longer as hard fork is around the corner and price will continue to drop.

You really need to buy at lower price and never buy while the price reached at the pumped price, because it will suddenly dump its price due to more will be selling their holdings when price hits the goals of most investors. Waiting suggestions will benefit you if you listen to those who advise us for good and that's true fork is there, so if you waited for the exact timing price starts to pump then you can buy again and hold for long term. This goals that we have will certainly bring  good results as for several months to go can be exciting but hard to have patience.

For me, as a trader, I will not only looking at the prices of currency that I wanted to buy, I will also watching in the coming update of the coin then after that I will find walls in candlesticks.

Completely depends on what your goal is. You plan to short term trade? Then simply buy dips and sell when it goes higher. Planning on investing long term? Then it doesn't matter what price you're buying it at if you're expecting it to multiply in price in the future.

The thing is, no one can make like super accurate predictions. Bitcoin's price movements are more dependent on news(bans, regulations, etc), which are pretty much unpredictable unless you have like secret government  insider information.
