I always apply simple logic and strategy in Bitcoin investment. I usually buy during the dip and when most investors are doing panic selling. Whenever I take profit as I reached my target goal, I save it for another reinvestment during the dip. I don't have any specific target price but I only take advantage of the dip while most investors are panicking.
Most of the peoples using this strategy for some time because now they understand how this market is working as it's touch $66K I was feeling bad that I lost good opportunity, but suddenly this dip came, and now I have some buying because this is excellent opportunity to have something for next bull run which can go with new ATH as predictions coming even few bad news also around, but now these have nothing serious impact on this price.
But we still have some good number of members those never have any price impact, and they are buying when they have opportunity because they know it's going to be very good for them in the near future.

At one point or the other, we all need to buy bitcoin, but when do you actually buy it? or when is the best moment to buy bitcoin?

For example, should I save some cash to but bitcoin when there's a 0 -15% dip? or should I wait till there's a major drop of >30%?

Is DCA the only way to buy bitcoin? What if I invest in an altcoin that booms and then take profit from it to buy more bitcoin?

What is your strategy to buy bitcoin?

in my personal opinion probably i will wait until it shows a good trend.. I mean a sign of strong up trend not during the correction because i dont have a large of capital to invest so if however it continue to make correction my money is safe, lol  it's quite skeptical in my situation to be honest because for sure if it will go below 50k soon and i put my investment very ealry for sure it will end up nothing.. So too good to be true, even i know a lot of investors accumulating now since bitcoin showing a consolidation around the current price. For me it still good to wait for more results to assure everything will gonna be alright..
Investors are always on the look where they can make a benefit and they sure grab the opportunity once the market is in dip, not just in a huge correction. I simply just follow such a concept of buying in every correction but because of limited resources, it can be a problem. And I believe that most of us here wanted to do so but because we need assurance and safety, we usually think about waiting a little bit or until the market shows the last correction before buying and that sometimes we miss it as the market will pump unpredictably.

These questions are not new here, this was asked so many times before.
If you want to invest in bitcoin, ye you can, and if you want to invest in altcoin, of course, you can.

Bitcoin investment is very ideal for long-term holding which is you can gain once the price goes up and in altcoin, I don't know when it comes to long-term. Altcoins are preferred on a short-term investment which is very risky if you don't monitor the price which is very common if this will turn out into a shitcoin.

I don't know what is DCA, for sure that is a hype coin, and what if the price will suddenly have a huge drops?

That is true. Anyone who's discouraged to buy bitcoin because of the price won't probably buy because they think that for one to have bitcoin, he has to buy 1 whole bitcoin.
There's still misinformation about that for the newbies and that's all they think for you to own a bitcoin. They don't know that it can be bought with fractions and that's why it's not really a requirement for someone to own a whole of it.
Those who think that buying bitcoins should not be in fractions are those who are very laymen and do not understand at all what bitcoin is and what crypto is.
But for now people have started to understand. They even pay in installments to buy bitcoins.
The price of bitcoin is indeed expensive, but if you continue to buy it continuously when the price drops, you will certainly benefit when the price starts to rise. Whenever you can buy bitcoin, it's important to know the risks when investing in bitcoin or cryptocurrencies.
It is expensive and that's why they think it's not worth so they're observing. But as they see the price goes up again, that makes them interested again in it because that makes them miss the opportunity that should have been done by them when the price has dropped.
But when they do, they're doing a quick decision that makes them in FOMO and it's all on them if they've made a good decision. But at the end of it, they still get to own bitcoin which is a good thing.

I think everyone is interested in buying bitcoin but many people can't afford it because of its high price. But I believe in that. That is to say, it is better to first invest in a potential altcoin and then buy bitcoin from a dip. Just need to wait for some times observing the current market situation before investing.
If any one wait for the dip then definitely they will get the position.

There is no way that you can be specific on what percentage the market should go down to before you start buying. So I don’t really look at it based on percentage, let’s say 15 percentage or 30 percentage, I just invest in the market whenever I feel that it is right to invest, and that is determined by events that are taking place in the market. If I feel that this is the right time for me to invest, maybe after the market has gone down, then I would invest and hold the coin till the right time for it to go up.

And there are also times that the market will be going up and I will still invest, and that’s because I believe that the market will continue to go up. If you are only waiting for when the market will fall down before you will invest, then you won’t be able to know when exactly and you will keep missing opportunities. There are even times that the market will be going up and you will invest and still make lots of profit , because it will still have a long way to go at that time.

Umm... Do you really need to have a large amount of money in order to buy Bitcoin? Afaik whatever money you have you can own Bitcoin already not in Bitcoin but in satoshi. So, why invest in a crap coin when what basically what you are doing is just the same if it's Bitcoin.
Save the trouble of finding a potential altcoins/shitcoins and buy Bitcoin already whatever money you have it can grow if you know how to. Trading or holding or whatever you want with your Bitcoin you could earn a decent profit if you have the right knowledge on when to sell or when to buy.

People who are not able to benefit from Bitcoin, how can those investors expect to benefit from altcoin! Altcoins are always double dumped from Bitcoin during the correction moments. But rarely rises at the time of pumping. If your investment is low then maybe investing in Bitcoin will reduce your profit but your investment will be 100% safe. In my opinion, those who buy Altcoin, actually buy tension by spending their own pocket money.

Haha. I think this is the most frequently asked question for us. I am in crypto since 2013. But most of the time I didn't HOLD my coins. I regret this.
Rare are those that managed to HODL since 2013 without selling anything so you shouldn't beat yourself about it. I enetered crypto at similar time (late 2013) and also had to sell some of my crypto from time to time, sometimes even when price was really low but that's just how it goes. Luckily, I only sold the bare minimum I had to due some unforeseen expenses so I managed to hodl majority

Yea I dont think there are many who have full access to their wallets who have
not spent a portion of their Bitcoin either willingly or reluctantly but there are
always opportunities to buy back and in a couple of years we will be happy we took
all the opportunities to buy and HODL

At every little dip I suppose, I mean to an ordinary investor who has no clue how to study the chart or TA the easiest method would be to buy from every time the price dip, it could be a small amount in case it will dip even further down, in my case, I don't invest much on btc for now, I focus more on alts since it has greater chances of roi than btc with little capital.

I don't know how to decide when is dip, and sometimes i asked my friend and he give signal to the others too when it is good to buy bitcoin at that time (every movement). I know it is bad to keep relying on other people but i will agree with major drop because with price of bitcoin now, we need higher spread more than 10% if want to made a good profit.

I normally buy huge amount of bitcoin end of the month which has been helping me to grow higher in profit making. Since  I started this strategy over some years now, it always help me to achieve good profits from my investments.
The best moment to buy bitcoin is when the price reduce in the market, show is time to buy bitcoin and hold for future profit making. The moment you see more customers purchasing more bitcoin at a particular time or season show it is time to buy bitcoin for future purpose.

Now I think is the right time or make purchases gradually in each drop.

because the market is undergoing a massive correction and there will be regrets if we do not take advantage of it well, because the price of bitcoin is not easy to predict, but we can judge developments that occur in the future.
and besides what happened to the bitcoin movement that has happened will definitely happen again and history will repeat itself.
If we believe in bitcoin then we must take advantage of the decline wisely, so as not to miss the best moment to make a purchase and plan for the long term.

I don't know what is Dollar-cost average method is. But, As I mentioned before, I do this to buy BTC,
So, lets say that you want to buy BTC for 1200 USD, but you don't really feel like giving all the money at once so what you can do instead is to divide that money and buy let's say 100 USD worth of BTC each month, no matter the price. That way you are averaging your entry price and you reduce  impact of volatility. It takes some patience though, but in the long run it works 100% of the time. Well, when it comes to BTC at least, I would never use that method for any other cryptocurrency.

When the Market dumps and Bitcoin price drops this is the right time to buy Bitcoin. If you have already bought Bitcoin at a high price, don't panic when the market suddenly drops. Just hold it for a while because later you will get a profit. Don't just sell it at a low price because you can't stand market conditions that don't show any movement to go up.Therefore, it is very important that you can control your emotions well, especially in such circumstances.

No you don't "need to" buy bitcoin!
I agree with this. It depends on how long you've been here, what your activities are, as well as on your priorities. I've been here for 6 years, and I've never bought Bitcoin. I got all of it from signature campaigns and other things like competitions on this forum. I know a friend who's been here longer and managed to save up 1 Bitcoin on signature campaigns and faucets from earlier days. My current strategy is to hodl when I can and sell when I have to, but if there were a way to spend Bitcoin directly on things I actually buy and need, I'd do that instead of selling. I cared about the price in 2017-2018, but I moved past that since, to be honest. So I don't pay attention if it's a dip or not. I act based on my needs.

If you are investing in bitcoin for the long term, this is a very good time before bitcoin breaks through new ATH. but if you want to invest in bitcoin in the short term, just wait for the weekly market price correction and you don't need to wait for the long market price correction, because it's difficult to predict when it will happen.
